The Prix Fixe at $55 was a good offering with the Hangar steak being the best of our choices.
great experience - ok value
We had the Valentine prix five minutes and it was outstanding. There were several choices for each course and it was hard to choose only one. We were happy with the portion size as well as the quality of our dishes. The wine selections were very reasonably priced and there were many interesting choices.
The food should be improved. The steak was cooked properly but was very chewy- tough. The bisque and French onion soup were both average. The ambiance was great.
Great place but they ran out of oysters mid evening. Ran out...an oyster place...
It was Valentines, so busy...had to change tables as seated next to a large group , very loud, but staff accommodated us. The Idaho trout was outstanding; the steak frites were good but came with ketchup not mayo ( mistake for a French bistro) ....wine respectable; price point good.
Will try it during the week next time.
Our main, normally hot courses were serve barely warm because of the delay in clearing the soup dishes . (A food server initially tried to serve but did not because of the delay in clearing the soup dishes.)
Our waitress was distracted and not attentive even though by the time we ordered the food, a number of tables in our area were empty.
Very nice restaurant with great ambience, great food and our server, Austin, was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Great overall experience, very good food, trout and salmon very very fresh and well prepared.
Both my husband and I loved the restaurant. The food was excellent as was the wine and beer selection, all at a very reasonable price. My hesitation in giving it 5 stars was because my steak arrived at room temperature even though my fries were hot. Granted I ordered it medium rare, it still should have hot with a rare inside or at least warm. I sent it to be reheated or seared or whatever they could do to warm it up. It came back to me 10 minutes later still the same temperature as earlier but this time the fries were searing hot, apparently they put new ones on. It wasn't worth making a fuss as my husband was waiting patiently and wouldn't eat his main course without me. Regardless, even at room temperature, it was delicious. And my husband loved his fish dish.
The food was good the service was slow! Two people got their meals about 10 minutes before the other two!
Service was not the best for a place like this one The waitress we had seemed to be overwhelmed. If you are used to ordering Burrata at Italian restaurants, this one might disappoint since it doesn't come with tomatoes or bread (or anything to spread it on). I would recommend the restaurant start adding bread to this dish...especially since it is a French restaurant where yummy bread is expected with certain dishes.
Otherwise, great food: oysters Rockefeller, butternut squash ravioli and steak with fries. Super tasty.
Great place for lunch in the West loop or dinner before you jump on the train!
We had an outstanding lunch on 2/7. Services was perfect. A small and intimate restaurant, a great place for a lunch with friends.

The bartender was great. Our food was absolutely delicious, and we'll definitely come back to sit on the outdoor patio. The only drawback is the menu is somewhat limited - if you want duck or rabbit, you'll have to go to Le Bouchon!
Overall, great place for French food. I felt the food ordered was well executed.
This restruant had very great food, and a good ambiance. However it is a little expensive, but well worth it for restaurant week or special events. There are some vegan options available at special request to the chefs.
Fantastic service!! Diner here during restaurant week. Super yummy pre fixed meal. Went here for date night. Oysters Rockefeller were phenomenal. Steak frites was perfectly cooked. Lastly, the chocolate mouse was superb.
The Salmon with Mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts was excellent and the service was very good. The apple tart I did not care for. The view was excellent. The chairs were very uncomfortable.
