We had a party of 7 and they put us in a separate room with curtains that did help to lower the noise. The food was good, not great for the price and the service was fine until the end. We had told the waiter several times, separate checks. At the end of the meal he brought one check. Once reminded he separated them but they were wrong. after the 2nd try 2 of the bills were correct but 2 others were not, we 3 had to leave but the bill process had already added 1/2 hour to the end and the rest of our friends waited another 45 min and finally got comped for desserts. The end of a meal is as important as the rest.
Good food and good ambience.
Crab cakes are superb! All crabmeat; not full of filler.
Their signature sable fish entrée continues to be wonderful.
The Alaskan king salmon entrée was equally delicious.
Amazing my favorite place, thank you so much for taking care of friends and I for my birthday dinner. The food was soooo good the prices were just right. This is definitely my go to fancy place. Thanks again.
The food was excellent - halibut, crab cakes, filet mignon. Unfortunately, our appetizers never arrived and our request regarding help with cracking open dungeness crabs was never answered. The manager did comp us dessert. Overall great food with mediocre service.
Date night with my husband...we had a great time. Food was perfect, drinks were great and the service was fantastic.
No complaints, we would definitely go back!
I had the signature fish, and my husband had a steak.
Pricey but nice selection and good ambiance. There are better restaurants in the area.
Quality and preparation of the seafood was very good. Their signature Sablefish entree was on the pricey side but very well prepared.
Ran into some really nutty stuff with waitress...then backed up by mgmt. Was there for son's B-Day dinner. Appetizer's did not make it out, never got a refill on drinks and then cleared everyone's plate except for my wife's. Dirty plate was still there when we left. Manager came to apologize for skipping the appetizers but was not willing to hear me out on the service experience. We ended up going to another restaurant to celebrate.
Service was excellent and the main course was so delicious. :)
You should recognize I go there a lot
It was fine. Nothing special about the place. I am a tough critic and there are better places for the money. Recommended item was calamari, but nothing special about it - plain fried squid.
Reservations were at 6:00pm on a Saturday night.
I ordered the Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops that came with polenta, prosciutto, and herb salad as shown on the menu for $38.00. When the order arrived, my plate had scallops and broccolini. I asked the server, What happened to the polenta? She said they ran out. Again, dinner reservations were at 6:00 and the restaurant was relatively empty. I asked if I could get something to replace the polenta. She asked what I would like. I replied, How about the Caesar salad?, ($9.00 on the menu). She said she would have to check with the manager. She came back and said the manager approved my request.
In any other high end restaurant, the server would have mentioned up front the polenta is not available before ordering the dish from the kitchen, and would most likely offer options, or ask if there is another entree I would prefer. But this wasn't the case at Pearl. I felt they were deceitful and lacked class. I have no plans to return. There are plenty of other fine restaurants in the area that are better and more popular.
Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Educating our servers is important to us and you certainly should have been informed about any changes to our menu. I understand your disappointment when a dish arrives and it doesn't match our description on the menu. May I invite you back to PEARL? Please reach out to me - Bradley@PearlBellevue Thank you again for your feedback. Best, Bradley Dickinson Chef/Owner
We had a group of 6 on a Friday evening. The service from Todd was especially good. All food, especially oysters and black cod, were terrific. Look forward to returning.
Todd is wonderful! Happy to hear you had a nice time and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Best, Bradley Dickinson Chef/Owner
Wonderful as usual!! One of the my favorite places for lunch and dinner🌹🌹🌹
Thanks Nino! Looking forward to seeing you again soon! Best, Bradley Dickinson Chef/Owner
Get the Sablefish, it's amazing
Happy hour in the bar before dinner... super loud - not good; won't do that again.
Dinner in the dining room... very comfortable noise level - super great; will for sure go back!!!
Loved our waiter. Gave excellent service and was really nice and attentive.
One more time- wonderful experience!!!
Delicious food and great service.
Highly recommended ❣️🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much!! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
I have begun taking all my clients to Pearl for lunch. I thoroughly enjoy their staff, the place is always quiet so we don’t have to yell to have a conversation. The food is perfect and they always provide great service.
Thank you for visiting us. We appreciate your repeated business and look forward to seeing you and your clients again soon. Take care :)
Katie our waitress was fantastic. The dishes from
Raw oysters to dessert were beautifully presented and served. The peach bread pudding was delicious but was served by a different waitress. We had each taken a bite when Katie came over and asked if the pudding was warm. When we said no but it was delicious she said it is better when the pudding is warmed. She took ours away and returned a few minutes later with new desserts. She was right it was even better We felt spoiled by her. FYI open table typically makes it sound like restaurant has only a few spots left. Pearl at 6:15 Sunday evening was quiet Plenty of tables left. Also on Sunday night our wine was 25% off. Lovely, relaxing, fun evening. We will go back soon. My friend also said the happy hour is superior
What a wonderful evening. I'll be sure to pass along your kind word to Katie, too! And she's right, nothing beats that warm bread pudding. Interesting news about Open Table - I will need to look into that, thank you. Please do visit for Happy Hour - 3pm-6pm, 9pm-12am and ALL day on Sunday! Thank you again
The food was very good and the service was also. The waiter made solid recommendations and was there to help when needed. A little loud but not enough to ruin the evening.
Great dinner and wonderful service
Wonderful evening, as usual. Todd, our waiter, was attentive without hovering: always polite & friendly. The food was to die for. My date had the sablefish, I had the scallops with polenta, and yes, we shared. Both dishes were prepared to perfection, tasted other-worldly, devine. The wines (malbec, grenache) were excellent. You simply cannot go wrong at Pearl.
Service and food excellent
Four of us had dinner there 2 nights ago, the entrees we had were the king salmon, country ribs, and the crab cakes, plus beet salad, mixed greens salad, and appetizers (calamari, octopus), and the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will go back!
Service was disappointing. Server kept forgetting our requests and took a long time to take our orders. We were missing essential things like plates for the shared dishes.
Louis took great care of us as we dined on salads & small plates, capped off by a decadent chocolate dessert for a birthday month. Oysters tasty, good salads, crab cakes practically ALL crab meat, and shrimp with a kick. Popular business/group restaurant can get noisy depending on who’s seated nearby.
The flavor in general needs to improve. The file mignon was soft but it lacked flavor/seasoning, it was dull not a pleasure to eat... the service can improve as well, some requests were forgotten.
Pearls is consistently great!!!
Had a wonderful time and our server was fantastic. We enjoyed oysters, ahi tuna, and for the main course pork chops and my wife the sablefish, all excellent. Highly recommend!
Server was very nice but overwhelmed. They had very little staff. Food was just ok. Their sirloin wagu was tough.
Missed dishes and long waits to order can usually n made up with delish food.
Room is way to dark. Windowless and 1989 steak house. Now the look is open. The panels blocking natural light should be removed. Needs to be refreshed.
Moms birthday celebration. Great evening out with fantastic food.
Good food but the Copper River Salmon was overpriced at $45. Nothing extraordinary. Portion was small. Maybe that’s why the server recommended this. Not worth the money. And service was slow with only 2 tables being served.
Being from out of town and exhausted after a day of meetings, I needed a break. Pearl Bar and Restaurant was the perfect place to relax and wind down. From the minute I entered the front door to the hour I regretfully departed, the service was superb. The cocktail I initially order was sublime. I wanted another but controlled my desire and waited for the appetizer. I like mushrooms but the dish I ordered was “out of this world!!” Words can’t describe the entree. The sablefish was excellent!! Besides being so closely located to where I was staying, Pearl was well worth the visit.
Birthday dinner, food was fantastic.
Excellent waitress (Helen) I had the mussels and a beet salad. Both were excellent. It was a Friday night at happy hour and the place was very noisy. My only complaint was that even though I was there at happy hour the waitress could not serve me happy hour priced items in the quieter dinning room. Happy hour should be happy hour for everyone!
I ordered the seafood cioppino and found it delicious. Just the right amount for lunch and at a reasonable price. Went there at noon on a Tuesday, and only about a handful of tables were taken.
Great service by Louis
Excellent food and service! Just a bit noisy with a large party behind us but overall A+!
