I was very surprised with the food this weekend. We were staying at the oyster point and decided to dine in the restaurant.
The server was very professional. But… The bread tasted like it was three days old. The fish was overcooked, so were the vegetables… Everything did not live up to the standards that it should have in the past. Maybe it was a bad night? Maybe there was a new chef? I’m not sure ,but the next night I went to Pazzos instead. Very disappointing.
Very disappointing. I wanted to try this restaurant. I made a reservation through Opentable to take my daughter to lunch and the restaurant was closed when we arrived. No notification sent to tell us the place would be closed. Poor management.
Everything was excellent! Better than I imagined. Terrific!
The food was amazing and the staff was great. Not to mention great views. We will definitely be going back.
Our server was excellent, very friendly, courteous and professional.
Soup was luke warm
portions were a tad on the small side, esp for a salad that is supposed to be the main meal
Crab cake had too much filler
expected much better for this caliber restaurant
The Pearl at Oyster Point delights me every single time I visit, which has been for over a decade now. Whether there for just a drink at the bar or a meal in the beautiful dining room, they have the “best kept secret” water views along the Navesink River in my opinion. And the service and food are always impeccable as well.
This was a perfect brunch! The drinks, food selection, service and price all made it a perfect Sunday!
All very nice, calm, and spacious seating which felt safe. Service was great. Swordfish and salmon were delicious. Only negative was the Christmas salad which was terrible, simply put.
The Sunday Brunch was full of variety and the eggs benedict, omelettes and Belgian Waffles were superb! Great Bloody Marys and wonderful view of the Navesink.
Beautiful quiet location on the river. Understated elegance. Great food and service. Will be back.
Food was excellent from presentation to flavors and temperature. Salads with crabcake on one and chicken on the other were bright crisp and fresh.
The burger was flavorful and to perfect temp and the fries were delightfully crispy on the outside, fluffy and hot on the inside. The view of the water is beautiful with geese and ducks swimming by. Idyllic. Peter is a wonderfully attentive server, friendly, efficient and not missing a beat even as the room filled. We will return again and again
First time we were there. And we loved it this was a group of four girlfriends from high school getting together at a location that was in the middle. We decided that day this is a place that we will make our get together every year thank you for a wonderful time great experience and awesome food
Service was not good. Restaurant wasn't even full and they wouldn't give us a table by the scenic windows. Placed us near the parking lot window. I will not go back.
Great food and great NGXB entertainment on the piano! Love the Oyster Point!!!
WOW ~ The pianist was absolutely amazing!!!! My family and I had a delightful dinner and wonderful time and we can’t wait to go back again soon!
Great food and service. Live Piano
Lovely river views provided excellent ambience for our lunch. The Holiday Menu was diverse and imaginative. We started off with selections from the unique Bloody Mary menu. Their Ultimate Bloody Mary was just like having an appetizer. Our meals were well presented. My short ribs sandwich was very tasty and my partner enjoyed his egg dish selection. Would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. MB
Such a beautiful spot. We sat on the heated porch overlooking the Navesink river.
Food and service were excellent. Very friendly staff.
Don’t miss out.
We had a lovely evening celebrating my Birthday! Our waiter was friendly and provided good recommendations on the Menu!! The service and food was excellent! We highly recommend. Also we had our Wedding reception here 25 years ago so it was great to reminisce about the beautiful location.
Very rushed brunch.
Cold coffee z
Loud music from other parties.
Not what I was aiming for at noon on Sunday w elderly mom.
Great experience. The food and service were excellent. We'll be back.
Had brunch with my best friend. Perfect choice for dining-beautiful view, good food and service.
We had a great time for brunch. It wasn't busy at the time we went pretty much had place to ourselves. Beautiful view of the water.
Really enjoyed Oyster Point. Beautiful view and a lovely brunch. Thanks so much!
This was our first time at the Pearl restaurant where we celebrated a birthday dinner with friends. We enjoyed our meal and the environment at the Pearl very much. The pianist was excellent and definitely contributed to a great evening atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent. We will definitely come back!
We went during Jersey Shore Restaurant week. It was our first time going to this restaurant. We found the food to be high quality and delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice. We definitely will return.
Food was excellent, and our server, Chris was very attentive, but very busy too so service was slow, but not his fault. The appetizer, entree and dessert were all top notch. I recommend the Brie bites, for appetizer.
The service was slow. Because this is a location people go to on a nice day, I’m thinking it was more crowed on the terrace than usual. But waited 30 minutes for our lunch to arrive.
Service and food was great.
I would recommend this restaurant… The food was very good but they did not have enough service staff… We found it to be very loud since there was a piano player almost the whole time… we could not hear each other… Otherwise good
Food was terrible..its gone dow.
Ordered Kansas city steak..it was tough
The baked oysters were good and the calamari...im sad ..spent 250. It was really bad
Happy hour was very nice at a cozy bar. Dinner seating next to the Navesink River was very relaxing. We really enjoyed our Blue Claw raviolis and steak . Our waitress Patty was very efficient and personable.
The service and wait staff were absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, the food was inedible. Hopefully the kitchen was just having an very very off day. There are a plethora of spectacular restaurants in the area, so we won’t be going back.
The location was close to where I was staying and it was a great place to have a wind down dinner with a gorgeous water view. The scallops and shrimp over gnocchi was incredible!
Good food and excellent service. Unusually quiet this evening according to our waiter but we really enjoyed the low noise. Beautiful, serene view of the Navesink River from our table. Interesting menu with generous portions.
It was mediocre. Service could have been kinder / better.
Food was inconsistent- burger very tasty, baked oysters totally dried out, like a rock. Servers were trying their best, but hampered by slow kitchen, or lack of overall help.
Dinner took a total of 2 and a half hours, for a simple dinner of soups and salads and burgers. Not very satisfactory.
Our meal at the Pearl was very good. Although the kitchen was extremely busy and our food took a long time to come out, we were not in a hurry to eat since it was a birthday dinner. My husband had the burger which he said was the best he has ever had. My daughter and future son in law liked their meal and I had the blue crab ravioli which had what I describe as an arrabbiata sauce.( Very spicy but delicious!)
We ended the meal with gelato, frozen key lime pie and the chocolate peanut butter cake. Everyone loved their dessert! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and doesn't mind waiting. Our server was excellent too!
Patty our server without sanding
Start to finish, everything was terrific. Our waitress Patty was very nice and attentive. We were seated at a beautiful table right next to a big open window with an amazing view of the water. The food tasted great and so fresh. Will definitely come back.
