The food was delicious for brunch! We had Vlad as our server who was very helpful! They didn't rush us and we would be coming back!
The whole experience at the pearl was phenomenal. Service, Food, entertainment.
Food was amazing! Everything we had was delicious! 10/10 service! Peter was great, and super friendly! The views are gorgeous. Would 100% recommend and come back!
I took my fiancé to Oyster Point hotel for a Valentines weekend and ate breakfast and dinner on the 14th at the Pearl Restaurant, both meals were very good and the service was excellent
Stayed at the hotel and saw they had brunch. The taste of the food was great and I loved the set up of the restaurant. We sat right next to the fire place. Such a cozy, elegant vibe and I had a great experience!
View was gorgeous, but steak was not good. For the price should be better.
The food was very good and our server was so nice.
Excellent brunch, beautiful view and atmosphere.
Great place / nice atmosphere!!
Food was good and fish very fresh. The ambience was great with a view of the river. The service was terrific would go there a lot in the future
Great location/ view. Nice and quiet , in red bank but a great way to side step the hustle and bustle and noise. Have used the Oyster Point for work retreats and thought I’d try it with family. Definitely reco this and also Molly Pitcher for good food and great ambiance
The ribeye, swordfish and the baked oysters were fantastic!
I thought eating/staying at the Oyster Point Hotel would be an upscale experience, but unfortunately it was lacking. Ambiance - dated look, nothing special about it. My date and I ordered the oysters app, which was very good. We both then had the salmon, with "poached" potatoes which actually are just boiled potatoes (very small, only about 4-5). Salmon was described in the menu as grilled, it was cooked nicely, but came with a sweet glaze which was not mentioned in the menu. My date didn't care for it. Tiramisu for dessert, which was stiff and dry, without any soaking in the coffee liquor. Also disappointed in the lack of training/knowledge of our server. I ordered a bottle of wine at $42, he just opened it and poured it for my date first and then me. Did not let me taste and approve. We asked two questions about items on the menu (including the poached potatoes) and he just replied "well, like the menu says..." He did not demonstrate a knowledge of how the dinners were prepared. Last, I had a ticket given to me at the front desk for 15% off of the food bill, but not for the wine. I presented it to him, and when the bill came he forgot to charge for the dessert. I mentioned this to him, and he said "It's OK, I took 15% off of the wine which will equal out with the dessert." He didn't have a clue. So...besides for the oyster appetizer, the remainder of the meal was lackluster and the service was inept. Won't be going back again.
Shower didn’t work
Loud party in room next door that went from 3pm in afternoon until 4am very loud lots of of folks and s fight broke out hotel did nothing about all of this
Wonderful view of the Navesink river, excellent service on both food and beverages, even on New Year's Eve and dinner, as usual, exquisitely prepared and served. All of this, quite moderately priced.
Wonderful dinner experience with my husband! The dining room was beautifully decorated, the service was terrific and the dinner was outstanding. Thank you.
Excellent in all respects
Beautiful scenery. Food is delicious. Helpful courteous staff. Would def go back again!
Delicious Thanksgiving meal!! Extremely professional service and felt totally comfortable sitting with my family with all protocols being observed! Well Done!
The food was terrible the value was terrible we sent everything back except the shrimp cocktail which was excellent the server was fabulous the restaurant is beautiful would never go back
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! But I’d not wait for a special occasion again! Loved it!
We went for Thanksgiving. It was very peaceful and stress free. The food was very good. My only complaint is that what came on our plates did not match the descriptions of the meals. We had to ask for some of the Thanksgiving dinner sides. I would go again.
I love the atmosphere on the OP deck and until late haven’t ever been disappointed by the food. They have done a terrific job of working to insure a safe semi-inside dining environment.
The menu has recently changed from summer to fall. The last 2 meals I’ve had have been disappointing. I tried the chicken with cranberry last time and it was awful. I hardly ate my dinner.
This time I had the salmon and asked for it medium. It looked like a food service cut and was dry. The accompanying sides on most of the offerings are lackluster. Most come with fingerling potatoes. Surely, there are other more exciting sides.
To summarize the current menu is not nearly as creative nor is it executed as well as is expected at the Oyster Point.
Covid regulations not followed. Large group of teenagers celebrating a birthday should have been in a separate room. They were not following mask regulation. Masks must be worn not held in your hand. That is not effective. They wandered in and out of the dining room without masks. When the birthday cake came out group became larger with parents joining as they sang happy birthday. We had to leave as they were 2 feet away from our table. Service very slow. What a disappointment.
We love the view at the Pearl and the food is lovely. We hope it stays open as long as possible and would love a winter outdoor option along the water.
Food was excellent. Service was a bit slow and confused.
We always have an excellent dinner at oyster point. Our waitress Lindsay is the best!!!!!
Excellent food and drinks, great service too! Would recommend.
For retirement
We celebrated our 45th anniversary at Pearl. Our meal started with French onion soup and smoked oysters. For entrees we had swordfish and steak. All were excellent. We sat at a table next to the railing looking out toward Oceanic bridge in the distance. At dusk a pair of great blue heron flew pass us 20’ away. We had a great time at Pearl!
We were very disappointed with the entrees. The appetizers and desserts were good.
The popovers were replaced with muffins that were not very good. The food quality has dropped significantly.
I'm disappointed because this restaurant was my favorite.
The staff were fantastic.
Delicious food, great staff! We were seated on the half enclosed deck, it start to rain, we were protected by sliding doors. We could still see the beautiful scenery on the Navesink River! Very enjoyable time!
This was a very disappointing experience. My wife and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. My wife had attended a retirement party at Oyster Point a few days earlier and had a very good experience. Our experience was not good. We had an 8:30 reservation. Upon arrival we were seated at a less than desirable table in the room by the bar. We appeared to have the only table that did not have a good view of the river. The table was not set but had a small plate and the utensils rolled up in a napkin. When I go to restaurant that I consider as "fine dining", the table should be set. I shouldn't have to unroll my utensils and there should be at least two forks. The restaurant is almost all white and has a dated look to it. The baseboard heating unit is unsightly and the sections of the drop ceiling are showing signs of stains. It is in desperate need of a makeover.
The bar was out of Jamison's whiskey which should not happen, especially on a Saturday night. No bread or starter was offered. Our waiter, though cordial, appeared to want us out as quickly as possible. Upon delivery of the drinks, she asked if we were ready to order which we declined so we could have a chance to relax for a few minutes and enjoy our drinks. We ordered an appetizer to split and we each had an entrée. The spring roll appetizer was good. The chicken entrée was okay and had potential to be very good but the execution was not what we expected. We were not offered any fresh ground pepper with our meal nor were our water glasses refilled. Our waiter returned after we completed our meal and simply asked if we wanted anything else. She did not ask if we wanted coffee or another drink or if we wanted to see the dessert menu. We decided to conclude the experience at that point. The check was a simple register printout and was not in a Check Presenter. I felt like I was in a fast food restaurant. My wife and I will not be returning to Pearl nor recommending it.
Came for my husbands birthday. We enjoyed the drinks, oysters, lobster bisque & shrimp with scallops entree. We were too full for dessert!
Lovely evening, professional service and the meal was delicious.
The Oyster Point hotel sits on the beautiful Navesink River. The food was very good as was the service. This is an outdoor balcony along with an inside restaurant. We went on a Tuesday . Wines are limited. All West coast wines.
We tried The Pearl for the first time for my birthday. It was one of the only local spots we had not gone to they covid. Service was very good and courteous (Chris) we were not rushed and we enjoyed three courses with a nice pace.
We enjoyed a wonderful Saturday brunch with friends here and the entire experience was wonderful. So much so, we are returning again this week to try the dinner experience.
Love the view, food wonderful as was the service.
Wonderful food, service ,river view. Would definitely recommend
