It could be really great, but the service and food was sub par. Our $18 scramble came out cold and our mimosas came out after our food (45 minutes). They used to have great breakfast and service. I am not sure what happened..Also this was across 4 days, not just a one time experience.
The filet, ribeye, asparagus, potatoes, and wine were all fabulous!
Anthony was a wonderful waiter, attentive and personable!
Leland our server was great. We will definitely eat there again.
Thank you for the compliment about Leland. We are excited to share it with him.
We had a group of six for lunch. They were very accommodating regarding time and conscious of the covid restrictions. The food was expensive but that is to be expected during the peak of skiing season at a skiing resort. The food was wonderful as was the service.
Very nice restaurant in the Summit Hotel. Service was excellent. Nice meat entrees. Drinks were good. Wine selection was good. Prices were maybe slightly high but probably average for resort dining.
The food here was excellent.our meal here was the best on the mountain
We had the dry aged rib-eye and the scallops also the waiter was perfect
The food and service was great
We enjoyed our lunches at Peaks while visiting Big Sky for a ski trip. It was a great mid day retreat. Thanks to the staff for the friendly service and great food.
Overpriced and the food was only mediocre.
Anthony our server was great! Sadly our steaks came out cold. Enjoyed the night regardless.
Our dinner at Peaks was disappointing. We ordered a soup and a salad before our meal but we only got the soup. The salad did not arrive until after the main course was served. We ordered an aged steak and asparagus to share. The asparagus were inedible from the amount of salt in them. The steak was decent but definitely not worth the price. Service was slow. On a positive note, the noise level was low and we appreciated that.
Poor service, excessively salted food, cold food and slow staff, but they got the order wrong.
We had high hopes for this restaurant. It was a snowy night and walking downstairs in the hotel seemed appealing. Plus it had 4 star reviews. So we made a reservation and gave it a shot. Well, not a great experience. We waiting 45 mins before we could get a basket of bread or order our food. Thankfully, we were able to secure a cocktail prior to ordering dinner. The food was subpar at best. We eat out a lot. The signature pasta dry, filet under cooked to what was ordered and generally tasted average. My teenage son can cook a better steak. And for the prices charged you would have thought we were eating at The Four Seasons. Not a fan. Would not recommend for dinner. However, the one saving grace is they are open for breakfast and do make a mean pancake and crispy bacon.
Overall good food. Server was good. Kitchen brought out main entree and the sides took almost 10 minutes to come out. Poor kitchen organization.
This restaurant needs a lot of help. The servers were not well trained. Food was served cold. Items were brought that were never ordered. They really need to fix a lot of issues.
The price point did not match what would be expected at a steakhouse as far as quality. Steaks were low grade, over cooked and over salted. Save your money and go to another restaurant.
Crystal, we are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Peaks takes pride in the beef we offer, serving imported Wagyu, and cuts of 45 day aged beef from local Montana Ranches. Understanding that many guests have different taste preferences in seasoning, and cooking temperatures, we hope that you allowed your server or the manager to know your steak was not cooked to your liking, as we should have happily replaced it.
If you're looking for a nice dining experience after a day of skiing Peaks is a great choice. Great service, great food. Worth checking it out!!!
The server over sold the food.
We were sat pretty quickly and that was the only quick thing about our lunch. There were only 4 entrees for dinner and you couldn’t order off of the dinner menu. Started wit the turkey chili that was more of a soup. Daughters squash soup way over salted. The two chicken sandwiches were undercooked and the breasts were not ideal cuts. The blacken fish sandwich was okay as was the burger. Service was slow. Meals came out at different times. Even after we shared that we were not happy with the meal it still
Took a bit of time for the bill to come out. Do yourself a favor ans skip this place doe lunch.
Good food, great service, friendly staff. Convenient place to get a good meal.
Our food took one hour+ to arrive and what they gave us wasn’t cooked well. The service was only OK. She didn’t check in on us or ask us if we were doing OK or tell us that our food was delayed. Very bad experience.
Wonderful breakfast and excellent service
We made a reservation, got dressed up and arrived there to find out they were closed! Very poor business that lets people make reservations on this site when they aren't even open.
Elk was excellent (chops and burger). Parm truffle fries were disappointing. Çocktails were very well done. Service was excellent. We would go back.
We’re here, not elsewhere.
If you can’t cook a decent burger , there are problems.
Service great. Food not so much
Food was excellant. This restaurant did everything they needed to because of Covid. Our Waiter was outstanding. The Steaks were perfectly done. The view of the Mountain was magnificient. If you are at Big Sky give this place a try.
Our dinner at The Peaks was yet again, amazing. Our waiter, Nash, is incredible at his craft.
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Great service!
The service was very slow(1.5 hours to get the main course) and the wine list is limited.
Nice place to eat at Big Sky.
Service was great.
Sides of Lobster Mac and Cheese and Spinach were very good.
Main course of Beef Ribeye was very disappointing. Large amount of connective tissue throughout the cut made it very difficult to find a mouthful that could be completely chewed. Also had very little natural flavor. Based on other reviews, we were expecting much better.
Danielle was an outstanding server. The ambience was great. Most of the food was very good but the ribeye was extremely tough and disappointing.
Food and service wonderful. Tuesday’s they have 40% off on all their bottles of wine and Don, the sommelier is very helpful in selecting a great wine pairing for your meal in a reasonable price range. The menu is pricey, but many entrees are shareable and shared sides were delicious.
I wouldn't eat here unless you are a guy or with a group of guys. Treatment to women traveling alone, ladies on the go, or single moms was not good. Way more attention given to the presumed bigger pockets in the room.
We ate at Peaks during a family ski trip. Our reservation was at 6:00pm. The dining room was half empty at this time. Our waiter was great, and attentive, but the food took too long to arrive. We ordered by 6:20, and didn’t receive our entrees until an hour later. Two of us had salads, but no one else ordered a first course. There were 5 adults and 2 children ( who ordered off the children’s menu), so no reason to take so long. Overall, the entrees were delicious though.
Incredibly good atmosphere and food. Prices have risen since we started going there.
I would recommend but would let people know it is quite pricy.
Excellent dinner experience. Wait staff were very helpful and engaged. Food was very good.
Dani was super great to us. Delicious food with beautiful views of lone peak.
Our meal was beyond incredible! The service was very attentive and timed perfectly. We highly recommend dining here!
One of the best angus tenderloins ever. Perfectly prepared and so delicious. The service was superb and very attentive.
Desserts were scrupulous! Loved the Hazelnut chocolate mousse.
Thank you for the 5 star review and great comments. Our Pastry Chef Jen does an amazing job with the desserts, and the Angus tenderloin is from one of the local ranches here in Montana that we work with directly. Their Wagyu is also fantastic the next time you join us.
