Food was excellant. This restaurant did everything they needed to because of Covid. Our Waiter was outstanding. The Steaks were perfectly done. The view of the Mountain was magnificient. If you are at Big Sky give this place a try.
Our dinner at The Peaks was yet again, amazing. Our waiter, Nash, is incredible at his craft.
Nice relaxing atmosphere. Great service!
The service was very slow(1.5 hours to get the main course) and the wine list is limited.
Nice place to eat at Big Sky.
Service was great.
Sides of Lobster Mac and Cheese and Spinach were very good.
Main course of Beef Ribeye was very disappointing. Large amount of connective tissue throughout the cut made it very difficult to find a mouthful that could be completely chewed. Also had very little natural flavor. Based on other reviews, we were expecting much better.
Danielle was an outstanding server. The ambience was great. Most of the food was very good but the ribeye was extremely tough and disappointing.
Food and service wonderful. Tuesday’s they have 40% off on all their bottles of wine and Don, the sommelier is very helpful in selecting a great wine pairing for your meal in a reasonable price range. The menu is pricey, but many entrees are shareable and shared sides were delicious.
I wouldn't eat here unless you are a guy or with a group of guys. Treatment to women traveling alone, ladies on the go, or single moms was not good. Way more attention given to the presumed bigger pockets in the room.
We ate at Peaks during a family ski trip. Our reservation was at 6:00pm. The dining room was half empty at this time. Our waiter was great, and attentive, but the food took too long to arrive. We ordered by 6:20, and didn’t receive our entrees until an hour later. Two of us had salads, but no one else ordered a first course. There were 5 adults and 2 children ( who ordered off the children’s menu), so no reason to take so long. Overall, the entrees were delicious though.
Incredibly good atmosphere and food. Prices have risen since we started going there.
I would recommend but would let people know it is quite pricy.
Excellent dinner experience. Wait staff were very helpful and engaged. Food was very good.
Dani was super great to us. Delicious food with beautiful views of lone peak.
Our meal was beyond incredible! The service was very attentive and timed perfectly. We highly recommend dining here!
One of the best angus tenderloins ever. Perfectly prepared and so delicious. The service was superb and very attentive.
Desserts were scrupulous! Loved the Hazelnut chocolate mousse.
Thank you for the 5 star review and great comments. Our Pastry Chef Jen does an amazing job with the desserts, and the Angus tenderloin is from one of the local ranches here in Montana that we work with directly. Their Wagyu is also fantastic the next time you join us.
The staff and service were excellent, as were the steaks. We will go back.
We went as a group to the restaurant. Adults at one table, kids at another. Kids only ordered entres and their food only arrived 1 hour 40 min after we arrived. Their table was far from the adults and the server took advantage of their age knowing they wouldn’t complain. Unacceptable
Gave it an over all rating of a 3 because 3 of our 4 steaks were gummy ( including the rib eye). We are going to give it another try while we are here in big sky. they were short staffed that evening as well.
Average food and average service In an average setting. Would not return. Fatty bison steak, Mooshy moon fish with no taste, cold overcooked duck. Also cancelled
At carabiner next door for the next night. Probably same kitchen.
Extremely slow service and very disappointing considering the marketing and prices of a first rate chip house.
Food took over 1 hour
Three out of four of the entrees were tough and overcooked. That includes steak, fish, and vegetarian entree. Very disappointing. The lobster tail was good, but the other proteins were so overcooked they were not as described on the menu and very dry.
We were first surprised to see that we were put at a very suboptimal table: next to a door that was drafty, facing the kitchen, in a darker place of the restaurant. When we have made a reservation days/weeks/months ago, we expect to be seated at a better table. What saved the day was that when we asked to change tables, staff was very accommodating and made the change swiftly.
The food was OK- rather overpriced and certainly overseasoned. We like to be able to taste the flavor of the meat itself without it being masked by the seasoning. The temperatures of the meat served were just right.
We were not impressed by the ambiance either.
The staff was very polite and attentive- this was a big plus.
Overall a decent option but nothing too special to justify the pricing.
Thank you for the feedback on your experience. We are thrilled to hear that our service team was polite and hospitable.
We had a fantastic dinner at Peaks! The dry aged Rib-Eye is an amazing cut of meat with fantastic full flavor crusty outside and juicy tender marbled meat. Cooked to perfection. The scallops are must have app as well at the Peaks salad. We also ordered the Monk Fish which was tender with an amazing crab sauce. We loved the entire dinner as well as the fantastic serviced provided by our server Nash. Thanks for a great dinner!
Thank you for the 5 star review. We are thrilled that Nash took great care of you, and look forward to having you join us again for dinner.
Our favorite place in Big Sky. Everybody enjoyed their meal, from carnivores to vegetarians.
We had an amazing diner on our 14th annual ski trip. We always go out to a nice steakhouse for our final dinner of the week. Food was incredible we all ate steak or the bison tenderloin.
Service excellent and food very good. A few more gluten free options would be a great addition. As a non meat eater who has to be gf, I had to improvise. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely.
The new steakhouse is amazing. The Elk chops and Montana filet were the best we’ve had!
Food is ok. Price is really high for cold steaks. Cooked as ordered (rare and med rare) but delivered cold. Also forgot elements of order a few times. Good ambience though.
Service slow, food mediocre and the area we were seated had a bad smell.
Very good steakhouse in a nice location near condos, hotels, etc.
Slow service, over priced menu, cold bread.
We have been going to Big Sky for 6 straight years. We have eaten at all the restaurants and liked Peaks the least.
Great steak and wonderful service by Megan from Michigan.
Food was terrible and very slow to come out. Server was very nice though. Would not recommend!!
Wonderful meal conveniently located in The Summit Hotel. Highly recommend if you are at Big Sky Resort.
Great meal. Our waitress, Delia, and the general manager, Suneel, made us feel at home and provided impeccable service. The wine list and food are outstanding. We always eat here when we come to Big Sky and would highly recommend the restaurant. Enjoy!
Repas du soir apres une journee de ski
Rien d exceptionnel , un peu cher pour la qualite
Truite servie avec une sauce trop sophistiquee qui n allait pas tres bien avec
Conveniently located in the hotel, I had hoped it would be a better experience. All three entrees came out luke warm and the prices were high. By far our most expensive meal in Big Sky and the most disappointing.
Great meal - elk chops, truffle fries, huckleberry ice cream were among our favorites. Jake was an excellent and knowledgeable server. Highly recommend!
The price is upscale but my table was out in the open with poor ambience. It was a special occasion for my daughter so I was a bit disappointed. My wedge salad was very average...but the rest of my meal was very good. My daughter enjoyed her meal but there were limited choices. Tomato bisque or French onion would be a nice addition that is not the dreaded chicken fingers...
We had Montana Wagyu steaks - sirloin and New York strip. Both were excellent. Shared sides of tempura beans, potatoes, and asparagus that were all good and nice to share. Tuesday night is 40% off all wine and we had a lovely Oregon Pinot that our server recommended. It is pricey but some of the best steak we’ve had.
