INCREDIBLE!! I had a large group reservation and the server, owner and chef made sure we were well taken care of. Food and drinks were beautiful and delicious. The place itself was gorgeous and had the exact vibe I was looking for. Will absolutely visit again

I don't know if the ownership has changed but the menu and quality of the food has. There were no vegetarian entree options and there was an excess of seafood. Food quality was just OK and definitely not worth the price. Ambiance has either gone downhill or we had a not great table by the kitchen--too big for our group to talk to one another and kind of dark. We won't give up on this restauarant but it disappointed us this time :(

We were seated right away, after being warmly greeted! I ordered the short ribs and my wife ordered the scallops entrees. I also enjoyed the Caesar Salad as an appetizer. My drink was the Willamette Pinot Noir and my wife enjoyed a Reisling. We also dined with another couple who had the Shrimp and Grits and the Salmon. Everyone loved their food and were very impressed. Brad was our server and his attentiveness and style were perfect! This is only our second time visiting Peak on Salem since it changed from its previous owners (and slightly different name). But I'm sure we're going to dine here often in the future. The location is great; the ambiance, the service and the food/drink are all top notch- and it's locally owned! What could be better? I highly recommend you visit!

This will be the last time we come back here - Nevermind the fact that it’s one of the most overpriced restaurants in Raleigh, but for a $45 Ribeye to come out cold and over-salted, it’s a disgrace. Before we even got our food - an HOUR later - we weren’t given any bread for the table and our waters were never refilled. Had to flag down the server every time we wanted a drink and literally more than an hour after sitting down we got our meals. As mentioned, steak was terrible but didn’t get a steak knife and there wasn’t any salt or pepper on the table either - I mean, just a terrible experience. Our server was so clueless - didn’t even bring the food out and then hardly gave a damn about us after it was delivered. The hostesses, except for the youngest one - were aloof and not very friendly at all. This place used to be great when it was the Peak City Grill and I have to say it’s absolutely awful now.

Outstanding wait staff and delicious dinner. Very accommodating to a birthday and provided complimentary dessert. Our server, Adam, was terrific and extremely knowledgeable. Will absolutely be returning in the near future.

The Welcoming from Peggy was the start of a great experience. She greeted us with warmth and a smile. Joshua our Server was professional and accommodating. His recommendations were very accurate. Had the Tuna Poke and it was outstanding! The Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp was fantastic. The Shrimp were large and plentiful. The entire Staff we interacted with represented the restaurant well. Our interaction with Peggy and Joshua definitely made for a great dining experience! Great Job! Cocktails were "Healthy" and a great wine selection. Great Staff and great food made for a Great Time!

The food is always unbelievable at Peak! Scallops are my favorite and the blue cheese chips. Had the salmon spread for the first time and that was great. They were very accommodating with multiple changes to the reservation.

Our sever was Mia and she was extremely nice, helpful, and prompt. The food was very good as were the cocktails and wine. It’s a bit pricey, especially the bottled wine but given the nice overall experience, it’s worth it.

Our waiter was amazing. The food was mediocre at best. Definitely over priced. The drinks were good, but we were denied a drink to go with our dessert because the bar was closed at 9:15 on a Saturday. Seems more like a lunchtime place or for the 5:00 early bird special crowd

This is one of our favorites for fine dining menu in a casual atmosphere. Menu items are a mix of classics like Shrimp and Grits and originals like the Short Ribs my husband enjoyed. Same for salads and cocktails. Crème Brûlée is outstanding.

Food and service were excellent! We used to go there a lot when it was Peak City Grille. The food and ambience were just as good as before. I had the Short Rib. It was delicious. So was the crème brûlée. We will be back.

Enjoyed our dining experience but Peak is passing along fees to their customers which I’ve never seen before. They charge 4% to pay with a credit card. We also had an issue with one item we ordered and manager would only refund half the price. We ordered apps, drinks, meals and dessert so to then nickel and dime us…Unlikely we’ll return.
