   This was our 8th anniversary dinner. The owner gifted us a piece of chocolate torte as a surprise at the end of our dinner! He also gave us the bottle from the excellent port we enjoyed with dessert. The Ribeye steak and the scallops were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selections. The wine list is substantial. You are sure to find one you like. The prices of the wines were good, too. Some places nearly double the cost of a bottle of wine from what you could get retail, but Peak does not. There was only a reasonable increase (service and corking, etc.) Our waiter was professional and anticipated our needs throughout the meal. The restaurant accommodated my request for the table we wanted and held it even though we were a few minutes late due to difficulty parking. Overall, I highly recommend Peak for fine dining, without the stuffy atmosphere and exorbitant prices.

   The place is cute and the vibe is fun. The food was tasty and the service was good. My only complaint is the choices that were provided for a Sunday brunch. I expected to see some fruit; there was none. I expected some bread products to go with the made-to-order omelets (which were delicious); there were dinner rolls (to go with the meat) and dessert-like muffins and nut breads (all tasty) but no toast, bagels, or english muffins. I thought the price per person for the mother's day buffet was a bit high, and there was not much room to walk the buffet line which was situated in the aisle with the bar. I will still come back because the place was nice and the food was good.

   This place is charming and the food and drinks were very good. Although we had to remind our waiter about forgotten drinks a couple of times, he was friendly and quickly responded. I will definitely return; however, next time I will bring cash. My only dissatisfaction is that 4% is added to the total bill if you pay by credit card. The prices on the menu reflect cash prices, which isn’t clear until you get the bill. Our bill was over $400 plus tip for 6 of us, so 4% adds up.

   Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. All three of our dishes were delicious, a little unusual and very generous portions Service was excellent, fast, efficient, professional. The ambiance is fine but nothing special, a bit dark and industrial. With the high level of food I'd have liked a table covering, but that's me, old fashioned. A very welcome addition to the local dining scene.

    The new menu has fewer options - only one fish option, and middle of the road steak options. The drinks were good. The server was weak… not very helpful with menu. No personality… reached across the table to drop the food instead of walking around to her side of the table.

    We booked reservations for Easter with our family and were never informed that it was a set 3 course menu at $50 per person. Most of our party of 8 were not happy about the extremely limited selections nor the quality of what was served, especially at $50 a head. The peanut butter pie was wonderful - best part of the entire meal.

    The food and service are the stars at Peak. Fresh food, excellent preparation and so delicious. Service was also very good and they seated us in a quiet area to enjoy our time. Only caveat was the smoky old fashioned...no need to dilute w shaken ice.

    Delicious food and ambiance! Our server was attentive and helpful. I had the soft shell crab special and my fiancé had the scallops. We both loved our dishes and the portions are healthy enough to have leftovers. Also, the smoked salmon dip was amazing. We want to go back to try different dishes.

    Steak was a bit overcooked but still very good. Calamari was delicious and all sides were really good also. Had the Crème Brulee for desert and it was outstanding. Restaurant does add fee for using CC so if you want to save a few $$ bring cash.

    We went for Apex Restaurant Week. The choices on the pre fixe menu were pretty good. Our server seemed overwhelmed from the time we sat Diane til the end of the meal. It took an hour to get our entrees and we all ordered from the pre fixe menu. It was obvious 3 of the dishes out of 6 had been sitting for some time before they were served. The pasta dishes were dry and not very hot. The mushroom stir fry dish was also not hot. The 3 chicken dishes were hot and had good flavor. We did end up taking our dessert to go since we had been there for over 2 hours. The flourless chocolate torte was very good. It proves yet again service and food are not consistent.

    Greeted very graciously and welcoming by the front Staff Management. Our Server Payton took very good care and made certain all was well. Payton represented the Restaurant in a very professional and courteous manner. The food was fantastic! Very plentiful and hot! The Belle and Evan’s chicken was fantastic! Roasted Cauliflower was a large share! Very tasty! The cocktails were good and strong, which I like! Nothing worse than paying a lot for a weak drink. Not the case here. Highly recommend Peak on Salem. Great food and atmosphere!

    The Peak is one of our favorite go-to restaurants in Apex. We love the options of eating at the bar, inside and outside. Their cocktail list is super fun, and their menu is lovely - not a ton of choices but we always find something we really like (their blue cheese potato chips are not to be missed!).
