The food was delish, especially the pretzel bites, great service, great cocktails, and bu go to boot.

Service was fantastic. Just hard to find something that wasn’t super greasy on the menu but everything was good.

Went Fri and Sat PM. Quiet, decor nice if unimpressive. Food was very good; unique choice of burgers, dogs, pizza. Sort of a fern/sports bar. Service was OK Friday, slow on Saturday, despite the restaurant being almost empty. They had a good selection of beers, but they disappointingly, were out of several of the ones on the roster.

We were happy to secure an open table reservation for The Peach Pit in Tuscaloosa because we wanted to take our daughter and a group of her friends out for dinner and Tuscaloosa is notoriously busy on game weekends. There were lots of options on the menu for everyone to choose and the food came out fast and hot! We wish there were more peach specific menu items! The peach drinks were tasty!

We ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dinner. We waited an hour in an uncrowded restaurant only to find out that they had “lost” our orders and it would be another 30 minutes or more for food. The waitress barely checked on us to update is on food or refill drinks. When we did order, they were out of 1/2 the items - even Pizza dough - a large portion of the menu is pizza!

Very inconsistent evening. Our waitress was pleasant and eager to help but she had too many tables to serve to make everyone happy...two tables left while we were there because they couldn’t get a waiter. The kitchen was hit or miss...one of our appetizers (pizza bites never came even though she said it was coming and it wasn’t til dinner was over that she apologized that they were out of them). We had a table of 8 and one person was served their meal 12 minutes before everyone else...and then parts of the meal came out at different times...I never received my order of fries and decided it wasn’t worth trying to get it before I finished the meal. One person asked for a refill on a soda and got it after the meal (25 minutes later). Some of the meal was lukewarm at best but we were afraid to reorder because it would take too long. We all liked the menu but the kitchen and need for more staff need to be fixed before we would go back. We liked the live music and cool vibe but that alone doesn’t make for a satisfying meal. We hope this changes soon!

Oh my! I’m really hoping that this place will get better. Those dining with me decided the name should simply be, “The Pits”. Let’s start...it took a couple of minutes to be greeted, and the table we reserved, wasn’t available. The restaurant was half empty and the A/C and fans work great! It was freezing! We were told it would be 40-45 minutes for food. That was confusing since it really was half empty, but we noticed only one table had food, we should’ve left then. The first drink I ordered, they couldn’t make because they didn’t have an ingredient. The beer queso with beef, came without beef. Later they brought out beef to add to it, but the queso was cold (even though I asked them to remake it or warm it, they did neither). We asked several times for eating utensils and they came out one at a time. The sweet waitress said she’d look for plastic but couldn’t find any. I had to go to the bar to get my drink when I finally found something to order as a replacement, and realized my wings had been sitting at the pick up window for quite some time. Needless to say, they were cold when they arrived to the table. We didn’t like the pizza, the queso was cold and wrong, the burger was just ok, but the onion rings and wings were average. The atmosphere is great (except for the freezing temperatures). We noticed that someone at the table had a problem with their bill while we were there, and soon we realized what it was for ourselves. The amount that comes out on your check is NOT the amount that’s on the ticket where you sign. Everyone automatically has 20% added into their checks. We had 3 people in our party and the table next to us had 4. You have to pay close attention to your check. The waitress did not understand why it was happening. I hope the service improves drastically. I would possibly consider going back after several months since it just opened.

If I could give them a 0 I would. Not overcrowded. Yet we waited over an hour after our order was placed. A young man came out flustered saying there’s a lot going on but I can’t tell you what’s going on. Our waitress never came back after she gave us water and after approaching them twice over an hour later Evelyn came out and said “they haven’t even started your order”. Just a terrible experience. Be warned.
