Peach & The Porkchop
Sun 11:00 am–9:30 pm
We had a great time! The food was great!
I booked for my friend's birthday as it was a unique venue with live music. Michael was our server and he was great! Drinks were tasty and the The Good Hand band was a lot of fun! We will be back.
We asked for a booth. The snooty little hostess said they were reserved for larger parties. Even though there was a party of 2 sitting at a booth She told a family seated after us a different story. It was not busy there were plenty of booths. My fish was burned. It’s always been good but was disappointing this time. The pork belly was delicious!
We always love coming here and will continue to come back. Only downer about this meal was the single musician guitar player on the patio had the music cranked up so loud we could not speak to each other over the meal. Everything else was great and he was also a great musician.
Excellent food choices. Friendly staff. Local, easy access. Rather loud. Service a bit slow. Overall very good.
My new favorite place to meet a friend after work on the way home for drinks and food. As usually we had an assortment of appetizers and drinks. I have liked everything I've tried . . . and I tend to be a little picky about quality, taste and presentation. This time we tried the buffalo dip for something new. Honestly, the idea of it doesn't appeal to me. However it was really good. I do recommend the Artichoke appetizer and the one with the 3 different sausages. Good wine list and beer selection also
Food ok noise level so high not able to hear any conversation will not be back
We went there for a 25th anniversary brunch. The shrimp and grits were wonderful , but the pork chop they are famous for wasn’t worth the visit. It was over cooked, chared and what fat there was was so hard I had to check to see if it was a bone. It wasn’t.
The Bloody Mary was the best thing I had there.
The food and service was good but the band was too loud we couldn’t have a conversation. We asked them several times to reduce the volume- and they would - but then crank it up again! We like to sit outside but will not return to your establishment because of this. We really wanted to enjoy our friends and that was impossible to do on your patio.
Good food in a great setting...we appreciate the local ingredients and great service. My wife and I both had fish...blackened grouper and stuffed trout...both delicious but trout was a bit better. The deviled eggs appetizer was also delicious...we’re not huge fans of deviled eggs but horseradish filling and sweet tea reduction made for a great combo.
We went there for lunch. The wait staff and host were very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that the kielbasa had not been delivered yet so we had to change our menu choices, but I was very happy with the burger and they both enjoyed their veggie sandwich. I’ll go back soon
We had the pork chops and the fried chicken. The Porkchop was excellent, the chicken was just okay. The service was great. The atmosphere was fun, I wish we had sat outside. They had someone playing music on the patio. We will be back.
The food was good , however things did not come out promptly ( fries slightly warm and had to ask for ordered side dish). Service was very slow and as I saw with other tables neglected at times. I will go back cause the menu does look good but hoping service is better next time
The food is soooo good and high quality and mostly locally sourced. GREAT staff! Sunday brunch is our favorite because the Littles have so many options. You just have to plan on it taking longer than an hour as it's their busiest day and service can be slow. The Big salad is AMAZING with their sushi grade salmon!
Consistently good. Go to family restaurant with 2 year old twins as they love it there.
So so disappointed. We are regulars and this time we were so disappointed we probably won’t go back. Their huge and delicious sandwiches are now tiny on a cheap hamburger bun. We were told they switched bread vendors. They have scallops on the menu and when we ordered them we were told they didn’t have them and the manager told us it’s because they couldn’t make the “price point” whatever that means.
We love this restaurant. The only mar to this particular night was that the live music (which is great) was far too loud indoors. Our party had to shout in order to converse.
We've never encountered that before and will go back again. Hopefully, the weather will allow for musicians to be on the patio next time.
All I can say is “fantastic”. Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Great atmosphere and professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
One of my favorite places in all of Atlanta. We try to visit once a week. Ali, Josh and Chuck are awesome!!
Good pub food.
Needed more knowledge of beer from our waitress as there is an extensive list of beer.
It got very noisy to hold conversation on Saturday night especially with live music.
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants period! whenever we are in doubt about where to go this is our go to! it's great for brunch, lunch, dinner, snacks whatever! THE BEST people who welcome you like you are family! We celebrated my husband's birthday this weekend and had out of town guests with us - they are still raving about the food and were impressed that the manager Jack knew us by name! Excellence in all things - customer service, food and atmosphere!
If you’re looking for an incredible restaurant with amazing food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere, The Peach and the Porkchop is for you! Our waitress Amy took superb care of my friends and I, who had just finished a 12 hour road trip down from Northern Virginia. 10/10 would recommend The Peach!!!!
This is one of our “go to” spots. It’s good from the minute you walk in!!!
Great Service and the food was really good. A little pricey. We had burgers and philly cheese steak with salad, homemade chips and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. Only 1 bad note. The appetizer green tomatoes was awful. That topping was not good at all. I would recommend this place but don’t order the fries geeen tomato’s.
Very attentive wait staff. Even had 3 different managers stop by to make sure everything was great. Great food and awesome beer list. Montana was very helpful and took time to talk beer and food suggestions.
The atmosphere was nice! We liked the country feel! The food was very good, the Mother’s Day special (Salmon & Risotto was very good! My husband had the Coma Sandwich that he enjoyed very much. Both my kids had cheeseburgers on the kids menu, but we had to send back one child burger because it was undercooked. The outside of the burgers were a little over cooked (almost burnt). This means they cooked with a fire that was too hot so the burgers cooked faster on the outside than on the inside. The French fries didn’t taste that good either! The service was fair, we had to ask for several things that he should have noticed and offered himself.
1: We had to ask for drink refills rather than it being noticed despite multiple visits by the server via the below requests.
2: condiments for the burgers (who serves dry burgers to kids and offers nothing to put on it?)
3: All silverware was taken, and then the dessert showed with no silverware... advice to ALL servers. Place the dessert WITH new silverware.
Props to the server for being a great “Go-for” and all the food was great (once proper), but showing up early on m-day to beat the rush (and we did beat the rush) the service level was lacking.
Really cute place! Great ambiance and wonderful service. The food was good and great menu choices. They even had complimentary chocolate fondue on Mother's Day. It was a great find- highly recommend.
Amazing food, drinks, and service! We will definitely be coming back!
Great food and atmosphere. Went here for mother’s day with my wife and two girls. They have many choices for kids, too.
We went for an early Mother’s Day brunch. The food was very good and our server was excellent!
The food was outstanding. Service was good. We sat outside. The band playing was fabulous. What a fun night.
We all enjoyed our meal for the most part. The charcuterie board had some good parts and some we did not care for. We probably won’t order it again but that is just a personal taste thing. There was nothing wrong with it.
Our server Amy was outstanding and really made the experience enjoyable. She knew the menu and had good suggestions and advice.
The beer and drink selection was very complete. I believe anyone could find an adult beverage to enjoy. They even have adult milkshakes.
We look forward to trying mor menu items next time.
Great appetizers and entrees with an option for everyone. Very creative adult milkshakes!!
We enjoyed very much and met the owner when he was told we were from Pittsburgh. Inside is great with a wonderful bar and outdoor area. We will be back!
First timers. Asparagus and creamed sweet potatoes were wonderful! 50/50 was quite good, according to my husband. Said the house made chips were good, as well.
Food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Our waitress made excellent recommendations and took great care of us. Only wish there was more seating to listen to the music outside.
We love this restaurant because of its wonderful kid's menu. The children have a variety of foods to choose from and the restaurant happily accommodates families. That being said, the food and beverages for adults is top notch. This is a great neighborhood restaurant!
