Benvenuto and welcome to Pazzo, a new Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Halifax. Inspired by our love affair with Italian cuisine, we’ve beautifully transformed two floors of a Barrington Street heritage building into a cozy bar on the lower level and a gorgeous dining area upstairs. With a focus on fresh handmade pasta, meats and cheeses cured in-house, and wines that flow as freely as laughter around a family dinner table, we invite you to join us on a journey of Italy’s rich food culture and la dolce vita!

We had dinner on the first floor as there was a private function in the main dining room. There was “team” service. Andrew was the lead and he was excellent. He was laid back but professional, great advice on wine and he was very busy yet remained attentive.

Waiter didn’t listen to what I wanted so he brought me the wrong drink and when I explained I didn’t want it he treated me bad for the rest of the time I was there.

The server was great. Very knowledgeable about the menu and able to help us make the perfect selections for our first time dinning at Pazzo. It was a male server with short curly hair, I forget his name. Very pleased with our first visit and will certainly be back as there was a lot on the menu still tempting.

Amazing food, many options, great staff. Visually a beautiful setting, ambiance is perfect. Two floors allow different vibes depending on the occasion. Always have a great experience
