Pazzo Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We were there on February 15 for our “Valentine’s” dinner. Our meals (fish and vegetables) were top-notch. Service at our table was excellent. Waiter (Michael Y) was friendly and helpful. Room was a bit noisy, although not full. It took the hostesses too many tries to seat us at a decent table in a restaurant with plenty of available tables. That experience did not make us feel like welcome guests.
I had high hopes, but was let down. The service was bad. My husband and I went before a concert on Valentine's Day. You would think they would treat the guests a bit special on Valentine's Day, especially the women. But, no. The tables are really small for the size of the plates and we had a lot of space issues with an app, 2 drinks, water and bread. If you are going for a casual pizza, I might recommend, but for anything else, not a chance. Thankfully, the company was great and our concert was amazing. Otherwise, it would have been a disappointing evening.
We live in New York and come into Red Bank regularly to see concerts at the Count Basie.
When traffic and time permits, we try to dine at Pazzo's before the show.
Tuesday night was our third time having our pre-show meal there.
The staff, all of them, are friendly and accommodating.
The lay out of the restaurant is comfortable and well spaced. This was our first time eating in the main room.
The food is delicious. The portions are very generous.
We're due back on March 4th for another concert.
Hopefully, traffic and time will permit us to chow down at Pazzo's again.
delicious italian food. never had a bad meal.service could be better...asked cook for bread when shrimp w/linguine was brought to the table so i could sop-up the sauce; waitress came over after i was half-way through meal asking if i wanted fresh pepper or cheese, a little too late. adjoining parking garage makes it a nice place to go to esp. during inclement weather.
Went on a Friday night, we were running late and the hostess was very accommodating when I called to push our reservation back. Loved the vibe, it was definitely a busy night and almost all tables were filled. We sat out on the enclosed porch.. it was pretty cold out that night but the temp on porch was perfect. Service was fast and friendly. Our waitress asked if we were going to see a show, which we were, and she kept an eye on the time for us--much appreciated. I had a seasonal sangria that was delicious, we shared the Italian wings and a bee sting pizza. The food was awesome and I would definitely recommend!
The chicken Piccata was one of the best I have had. A nice touch of lemon which a lot of restaurants don’t accent on. I love lemon flavor so for me awesome The waiter had a great personality and checked in on us just enough. The only slightly bad thing it’s a bit loud inside the dining room area where we ate. But worth going. Enjoy !
Spur of the moment dinner with another couple. Fig pizza was FANTASTIC...a must have appt.
I had the pork chop special which was delicious and topped off with Tiramisu for dessert!
Great atmosphere, even though we are in outdoor area which was well covered and very warm!
If you're looking for really good food, reasonably priced, and lovey atmosphere this is place in Red Bank!
Party of six before the show and we were seated very promptly with reservations...the server understood we were attending a show and told us to put our orders in quickly and we were served quickly even with a full restaurant. Food was delicious and pasta is excellent along with the Antipasti. All in all a great meal and good time...would definitely come back!
The appetizer we ordered came out fast which was great, but it tasted like it was dead sitting in the window for a while, which tells me it was probably made in error and then served to us when we ordered it. My husband’s pasta came out wrong. He ordered the spaghetti funghile with a truffle cream sauce and the sauce was oily because they forgot to add the cream, which really ruined the flavor. The shrimp in my fra diablo was over cooked. The cheesecake was fantastic. All in all, it was okay but I wouldn’t hurry back.
Restaurant was crowded but we were seated immediately in the outside area which was less noisy. Our server (Meagan) was EXCELLENT as was the food. We weren’t rushed and everything was delicious. My only regret is that we live about an hour away so it’s not a place we can go to that often. I highly recommend!
We ate here before attending a show at the Count Basie Theater. We were seated promptly and service was excellent. The menu has plenty of good options. We had the crab cake appetizer, which was very good. I had the tuna, and my husband had the halibut. My husband;s fish was cold, but the staff noticed immediately that something was wrong, took the dish back, and returned a short time later with hot food. Other than that small glitch, which can happen anywhere during a busy time, we had no complaints. The food was very good, portions just right. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was excellent. We would absolutely go back again.
The service was excellent. Friendly and efficient staff. The hostess was wonderful. The food was excellent and the staff asked and honored our need to make a show following dinner. The meals came quickly and were hot and delicious. I would highly recommend visiting Pazzo.
We had the Chilean Sea Bass & Branzino (European Sea Bass) - both were delicious. We had dinner prior to a show at the Count Basie Theater. They provided a free shuttle pass; however, we decided to walk the couple blocks and its was no issue even in January. If you purchase a $45 certificate, you gat a free appetizer and free parking (which may have been free anyway). The crab cake appetizer was also very good.
Scheduled a business lunch during the week. Restaurant was easy to find and there was free garage parking right next door. Hostess checked my coat, and showed me to our table. Nice menu with plenty of choice. Selected a "make your own salad" and filled out a quick card with ingredients I prefer. The waiter delivered a very generous and tasty salad. Overall, food was very good, the server was nicely attentive without being bothersome, and I enjoyed this venue. Looking forward to my next visit.
This was not our first time.
Food is consistently very good. We were there on a Saturday night. It was packed. Service was very.good in spite.of.crowd. it was too noisy. We were seated next to a large party celebrating a birthday. We could not hear each other. Will probably keep this a week night place. If you like noise, this is the place for u.
