    The linguini Ala Vongole was delicious. Aldente linguini with fresh clams in the shell with a savory clam sauce; a blend the the juice from the fresh clams, garlic, white wine with a touch of butter/olive oil. The Giambatta Fra Diavolo shrimp prepared with a spicy chunky tomato sauce over aldente cooked linguini also delicious; the sauce being very flavorful.

    We have eaten at Pazzo previously but not in some time. The quality of the food was not as good as before. We had the wing appetizer which the flavor was good but the wings were dry and obviously reheated. At this price level I’d expect fresh. The bolognese was again good flavor but had so much chopped meat it was a struggle to find the pasta. And the fried calamari was way overcooked and rubbery. It was not busy it was an early dinner. If we were talking a lower price point I wouldn’t mind but we are talking pizza restaurant quality at a high cost. I don’t think I would return or recommend anymore.

    Pazzo usually provides a great dining experience, but my recent visit fell short. While the appetizers arrived promptly and were delectable, the main courses took over an hour, contrary to the waiter's assurances of a quick delivery. Sadly, three out of four dishes were barely warm, with one requiring reheating. Despite management's apology and the complimentary drink and dessert, the delay was disappointing. What troubled us more was observing later arrivals being served ahead of us. This visit was a letdown compared to previous pleasant experiences.

    We had reservations for 12/2/23 at 6 p.m. We arrived a bit early, around 5:45 p.m., and were seated shortly after 6 p.m. We were warmly greeted by the hosts when we entered. The bread and olives served when we were seated were phenomenal. My son loved and devoured his pasta fagioli soup. My fiancé and I enjoyed our salads immensely (wedge salad and baby beet salad, respectively.) The food up to this point had been incredibly good. Then we were served our meals. I ordered chicken saltimbocca, my fiancé ordered flounder francese, and my son ordered penne vodka. My chicken was *very* thick, *very* tough, and the taste was just eh; the sauce seemed to lack that certain something that makes saltimbocca one of my favorite meals. My fiancé's flounder had gelatinized francese sauce on top of one piece of flounder that cost nearly $40. My son said his penne vodka was good. I disliked my chicken enough that my fiancé took my meal and I took his. I'm unsure if the issue was that the restaurant was very busy, or if the food we received is representative of the type of meals served now. We never had a bad word to say about anything we ate at Pazzo before. We will give it one more try to try to decipher whether or not this was just an off night.

    Had 5:30 reservation and didn’t get seated til 6:05. Had a show to see at 7:00 so had to rush our entree. Had no time for apps or dessert.

    had 5:15 reservation, was not seated until 6:00 order placed at 6:10 . when i asked server to check on our order was told its sat night. your order will take at least another 40 minutes, waited 45 min to be seated, why take reservations if you cant seat people. then waited another 10 min for server to come to table only to say to me its sat night and i have 3 other tables!! and she was annoyed that i asked her to check on my order. had show tickets for 7:00 pm. walked out and will never return.

    Another excellent meal. It’s amazing the way a restaurant this large can handle a pre-show crowd and such consistently high quality food out on a timely basis. Highly recommend if you’re attending a show at the Basie Theater or any other time.

    Food was excellent. Wait service was very good. Seating when we got to Pazzo was POOR. We had reservations for 2 at 5pm. We were not seated until 5:40pm. Horrible! What’s the purpose of making a reservation? Probably not coming back here again. I will be definitely passing this along to everyone I know.

    We had to send our appetizer back because it was not made correctly. The second one came equally as bad. The food was mediocre at best, the tables are cramped and on top of others, creating a high noise level. The prices are outrageous for the portions received. We would never go back there again.

    Service was okay...took awhile to get drink refills and had to ask a couple times. The servers response was sorry were busy. The food was not up to par. My son got chicken fingers and came burnt the 1st time, sent them back and came back less burnt but very greasy. I ordered a pizza and it was covered in balsamic...so much so I paid $24 for 1 piece and no one even came over to ask if something was wrong. My father had lasagna for $28 and it was very bland. All the food (besides the chicken fingers) was barely warm. Paid over $200 for an appetizer, salad, 2 pizzas, lasagna and a couple drinks in which everything was mediocre at best. The manager who handled my sons chicken fingers was attentive and tried to get something else for him but at that point he didn't want anything else. Only plus is that it is close to Count Basie...but that is the only plus...We will not be returning.

    Food and. Drinks are very good. , Don’t go here if you Need to omit something from your dish. Not Alergy Friendly . Won’t alter ingredients for someone . We were told we’re too busy to make any changes .

    Waitress took 15 minutes to come to our table after we were seated. While waiting for our food, a busy boy walked by with a pile of dishes and dropped them splattering red sauce on my wife and I. Nobody apologized to us. When we finally received our food my wife’s steak was cooked well done when we asked for medium rare. They took the plate back and made a new one, but then when the new steak came back out it didn’t have a bone and it was missing the garlic butter sauce. We will not be returning to eat here.

    Sorry to hear this. We pride ourselves on customer service so this will be addressed with staff. Your feedback is important. As for the steak, not sure which cut you had. I know recently we had a ribeye cut special that wasn't bone in. Usually when management is notified on the spot we accommodate accordingly. We would credit the bill or make a new dish etc.. Did you get the benefit of either? If you do decide to give us one more try, I would be happy to make sure your visit is top notch. Ask for Bobby and I will make it happen.

    Pazzo never disappoints, one of my favorite places. The iceberg wedge salad and M.O.R. pizza made for a great combination.

    I’ve been coming here for years and the service is always wonderful but on this visit the food was terrible. Disappointing because we’ve loved coming here but I’m not sure we’ll be back. For the record, the service was fantastic as it’s always been! This was really surprising.

    Excellent restaurant, very customer minded. My first entree was not good, so they took care of me right away and gave me an even better meal. The partner even came to my table to make sure I was satisfied. And our waiter, Eli, was amazing. I'm definitely coming back!!!

    I made reservations before a show at the Count Basie Theater. The nearby parking and proximity to the theater make Pazza a good choice for such occasions. The portions were generous and the food was good. The service was attentive.

    My dinner was absolutely fantastic, but the experience was marred by the noisy hallway we found ourselves seated at. The true problem ,though, was the server. I have not experienced anything like that before. It was too bad.

    Pazzo is always great! This time we were a little disappointed in service. After saying more than once we didn’t want to be rushed, we were served course after course, one on top of the other. For that, I had to take a star away. It was irritating that our server just ignored our wishes. Pay attention to your customers Pazzo!

    I used to come here a lot but hadn’t been since leaving Red Bank a few years ago, it has gone downhill in my opinion since the owner passed away. Our first server (before we moved from a table literally in the back corner trapped with a wall on one side and a changing wall/divider behind me) could not seem less interested in being there. She rolled her eyes at me when I walked by because it was only wide enough for one person and she needed to scoot over. So, we moved to a better table. Ordered a pizza without red pepper flakes, it came on it and my wife’s mouth was on fire. When I asked the waitress she said “I know I put it in right.” Ok, but it’s wrong - just say sorry and ask to fix it? I had to ask her to remove from bill, which she did. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and portion sizes have gotten a bit smaller but the Monday 50% off deal is still a bargain. Overall, we left feeling “meh” and oh by the way it was our anniversary, no acknowledgement from restaurant despite listing it when making reservation. Didn’t need anything free but a happy anniversary goes a long way when they literally ask you if you’re celebrating anything when reserving.

    We were quite disappointed in the pizza. The crust was soggy, and the caramelized onions were actually raw. The lasagna was a much better option. On a positive note the service was very good.
