   Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Pazzo. The Tuscan bean soup is a meal in itself and the salmon entree is always delicious. Hannah, our waitress, was excellent and helpful. My only complaint is the ridiculous price for a glass of house Pinot noir…$17!! Really?? Won’t make that mistake again!

   We love Pazzo. We went for the early dining special last night and arrived early for a drink at the bar first. The bar tenders are great; always remember what we drink. Our dinner was delicious; service excellent and the ambiance is wonderful.

   Wonderful setting! Celebrated an anniversary here. We were warmly greeted and congratulated and then sat down at a decorated table with a card signed by staff. Great service and even better food!

   The veal parm was the best I ever had. My wife had the lobster ravioli and that was excellent as well. Jonathan our server was great and he and the Manager insured our experience was exceptional. Pazzo has been my favorite place since the opened in the 90s .

    Our server was terrific along with the food. we were very disappointed that we arrived 5 minutes late for our reservations because of traffic in front of the ristorante and they would not honor early bird. Plus we were celebrating two birthdays and did not get a dessert with a candle!!

    This place was very disappointing. I used to come here every trip to Naples and it was always cool, hip and fun. The food is still great, but someone's grandma has taken away the cool vibe and replaced it with fussy candelabra, flowered plates, cut crystal water and wine glasses and faux classical music. I really missed the way it used to be. Our server was clearly disappointed that we ordered small plates, not entrees, and the portions seemed small and overpriced. I had the kale salad for $16 (should have been more like $8 based on size and quality) and the butternut squash ravioli (an up-charge to $30 for five ravioli instead of three for $18). There was also a gnat or fruit fly infestation and we spent the entire meal swatting away, even though we were seated indoors. I was so excited to come back here but some things are best left in the past.

We get a lot of GREAT comments on our décor, Authentic Italian Cuisine and 5 Star Dining experiences. Maybe someplace that serves endless salad and bread sticks might be a better choice for you. As far as the "infestation" you speak of, the front doors open and close all night with guests coming and going. I apologize that a gnat got in.     The salmon was good, but a bit too sweet. The rigatoni was good, but still not like Pazzos food used to be.

    Usually this restaurant is very consistent and while the service was good, the food was disappointing. I also had to send back the Desperado drink because they didn’t make it properly. And then they returned the same drink. Ive had it there and at Chops and the drink they served me was not what I’ve had in the past. I know….. 1st world problems.

As far as only giving 4 stars because you had to pay for bread, I’m not sure when the last time you dined with us but we’ve charged for bread for the past 5 1/2 years. $6 for our Famous Garlic Bread or Fresh Ricotta Truffle bread some would say is a steal. With season over and it being a Tuesday night, a “half full” restaurant is better than an empty one.

    Sat for 20 minutes before server stopped by table. Waited 10 minutes for water. Waited 20 more minutes for drinks. Waited 1 hour for food. When we asked the server what was going on, he said he would go to the kitchen and ask. We watched him NEVER go to the kitchen! Veal dish was fair, it was supposed to be served a top rigatoni…NO rigatoni to be found. Filet was very small and dry served with flavorless broccoli rabe. Ruined what was supposed to be our last night in Naples and celebrating something special. Ruined!!

    Pazzo is the best home style Italian in Naples! Get a craft drink and some truffle bread to start. Chef Abel’s bone-in Veal Chop Parmigiana with homemade spaghetti is hands down the best ever! A close second is his Filet Gorgonzola…my wife gets it every time and I always get a bite, she’s good like that:-) Mouth watering! For dessert, the Napoleon-ish tart, Tiramisu, or even the espresso martini are all delish! Ask for Billy or Hanna as your server. They are fantastic! Enjoy!

    We celebrated my wife's birthday at Pazzo. A Birthday card from the restaurant was waiting for her......nice touch. There were 4 of us and everyone had appetizers which they enjoyed, I had the Tuscan bean soup, which was outstanding and flavorful. The main courses were well prepared . The Birthday girl received a complimentary dessert. The rest of us had an Affogato in a tall glass which was excellent. Our server was great. I would definitely go back. Tony S.

    Sat outdoors on a beautiful Thursday evening. The scampi appetizer, pork chop entree and lasagne to dessert was outstanding. Pricey but good for a special occasion. Would definitely return.
