Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. Chef Niven’s dishes incorporate ingredients he grows at Rancho Patel, complemented by vibrant wines and tropical, farm to glass cocktails.

The restaurant features 56 dining room seats, 25 bar seats, and 8 raw bar seats, with a gorgeous display of fresh seafood. Expect to jam to some Manu Chao style music while basking in the vibrant island vibes and flavors. South Beach has been home to Mo since he moved to Miami in 2016, and Paya is his thank-you to the community that supported him through his journey.

We had a tasting menu which i belive is 75$ on a regular day and 50$ on Mondays. Food was amazing, service was great I would definitely recommend to go on a Monday try what this restaurant have to offer and go back again and order from a regular menu.

Paya is Miami Beach’s best-kept secret. The food is exceptional, bursting with flavor, and the service is consistently flawless. The staff makes you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. And the $75 tasting menu? Easily the best value on the beach.

Wonderful and very honest restaurant in a town where many restaurants are more about flash then substance. Great flavors. As a restaruant professional, the portions are actaully too big! Sunday night so it was a bit quiet but service was spot on. Well done

This could be one of the best meals I’ve ever had in all of Miami. Everything was perfect and delicious from beginning to end!

Did the 10 dish tasting. Everything was expertly prepared and each dish was colorful, tasty and had every element you want from a dish. There were a couple standouts. The cauliflower was phenomenal but the jerk spice yogurt on the Maduro was one of the best things I have eaten in a while. WOW!
