   What a beautiful place to enjoy a meal right in front of the beautiful Geelong bay. This place is a lovely casual dining spot with a good variety of brunch and lunch options. The staff especially the manager on the day were absolutely attentive and very patient with our desire to find the best possible table to enjoy a few hours conversation on a beautiful day. I highly recommend Pavilion and I hope that others enjoy the experience.

   We were a group of 6 and each of us really enjoyed our meals, the service was great and the ambience entertaining with every thing that was going on around us.

   Quite expensive and we’re encouraged to use app to order which doesn’t appeal from outset. Table was fine and they were fine about having our dog and food was served promptly. Food was ok except toast very dry and difficult to cut. Thought it was rather expensive.

   We had birthday breakfast for 11 of us food and service was great , pencils and paper on table for kids . We all enjoyed our meal

   Hi there! Thanks for allowing the time to feedback. Unfortunately we did not end up dining at your venue as we didn’t feel the offering was suitable for us. I did not realise that the downstairs area was cafe foods only (totally my mistake I thought both levels offered the same or even fish and chips?). However, I believe myself and my guests would have been eager to stay if not for the fact we had to use a QR code to order, which didn’t work anyway so I still had to go to the host desk to order a coffee. We were eager for a long pre-Christmas lunch. However the QR ordering created a deterrent for us as we tend to find food orders come out at unreasonably varying times when we would like to eat together. There’s usually an additional service fee on these options which we would prefer to offer as tip instead of paying for a third-party service. Add on top of that the additional weekend service surcharge along with the frustrating comment of “no alterations to menu items”. Again more deterrents. Adding to the fact that our outdoor seating area was littered with a couple of used napkins and some plastic takeaway drink lids. To ask the price point you offer, order through phones, not alter any items (even if for dietary?) and add a weekend surcharge, it’s a little bit of a slap in the face to guests. At least for us. I very much appreciate the fact that staffing is difficult in Geelong right now. We just found it frustrating that a venue in such a wonderful location does not allow the friendly staff (the small amounts we received everyone was lovely!) to connect with its guests. If some personable table service was offered, heck we might have stayed and paid whatever price plus surcharge plus no alterations to menu, maybe even a tip. Apologies for the rant, I hope the summer period bodes well for Pavilion!

    Beautiful spot for lunch with a spectacular view of the bay! Food was fine; simple fare, nothing gourmet which for the time you spend here is adequate. QR codes are the norm but they do bring menu's out as well (perfect for my traditional sensibilities). Order at the counter makes it simple if that's how you want to play. Overall I would recommend for a two or more group lunch where it is conversation, the view and sun that are more your style.
