Depaula Monastrell is a red wine made in the V.T Castilla by Bodegas y Viñedos Ponce. This winery is located in the municipality of Iniesta in the southeast of Cuenca, at the eastern end of Castilla La Mancha. Depaula Monastrell is made from the Monastrell grape from neighboring Jumilla. A vineyard that is located 800 meters above sea level and planted straight ahead in search of the freshness of the area. Depaula Monastrell ferments in 4500-liter wooden vats with its own yeasts and with a little scrape from one of the vineyards. The amigos tacos were so good we returned two days later. We had the specialty of the house, The Torta de Elote Escanes with carnitas which was a delight. Drinks were tasty, and for dessert we got the Pay de Manzana. Another recipe from Paulina's mom. I wish that we lived closer!!

I was surprised at the quality of food honestly, expected something much better prepared for all the Farm to Table review. No details on what was local from the server. Chicken breast was basic - a packaged breast, bland. Flavor came from the 2 sauces on top which were mediocre. Served with slices of basic Naan bread. No veggies on plate. Not worth the $27 paid. Service was excellent. First time there, we've heard great things but not excited to go back for food..

We reserved an outdoor spot and were seated quickly. We ordered our first drinks (Paloma drink wasn’t a hit but everything else was). Appetizer was empanaditas were tasty. For meals, flank steak was good, orzo side was fantastic, entree salad was large and delicious and tandoori chicken was a different take and good. We were too full for dessert! The street noise was a little annoying at times but it was still so nice to be outside.

What an amazing brunch experience. The food was absolutely incredible. We sat outside under large umbrellas that were perfect to enjoy our meals and cocktails. They make their own bloody mary mix and it's delicious. You should definitely check this place out.

Buena comida, pero nos pasaron a una mesa sucia y la limpiaron encima de nosotros (con lo que eso implica). Nos sentaron con rapidez, aun con reservación, para poder sentar a varios walk-ins. Pidieron repetir la orden ya pasado varios minutos de haber pedido. Al final pedimos la cuenta y una caja para llevar la comida, al tiempo preguntaron si estábamos bien y tuvimos que pedir la cuenta y el envase nuevamente. La comida estuvo buena y es pet-friendly así que volveré.

The food was interesting and very good but the service experience, in particular the clear distaste for children was truly disappointing and enough to make our group not want to ever go back. I was shocked and embarrassed at having taken our friends. Despite the good food, will not be returning and would never go there with children.
