Requested a booth using Open Table app and was provided a lovely private booth. Santiago, our server was very attentive and executed his duties in a supremely professional, efficient and non-intrusive manner.
She ordered the Redfish with sautéed spinach. I ordered the Halibut with asparagus. We shared each other’s food. Our food was prepared to our liking, we enjoyed it very much.
The privacy of the requested booth and ambience provided us the opportunity to oscillate from witty banter to deeper dialogues without fear of eavesdropping.
I recommend this restaurant for any adult dining experience.
We visited on a warm evening and asked to be outdoors but with the ability to have a heat lamp. The hostess and waiter were very accommodating and we enjoyed a lovely sunset while dining outdoors. We are pescatarians and there were several choices that we mulled over. The halibut and fish tacos were great! We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was reasonable.
Good food, great service and a friendly environment makes it an ideal place for almost anyone.
Great wine list!
Great food and drinks. Our bill was messed up but other than that all was great!
The food was good. However, we were left sitting at our table for at least 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged our presence. Once we were able to flag him down, he was fine. I would suggest if you have somewhere to go after dinner, which we did, to request seating away from the bar area. I will say that $17 for a burger and fries and $20 for a French dip and fries was maybe a tad high. I prefer to eat there for lunch. The people at the high bar tables looked like they were getting attentive service.
The food and service are great. I only wish there were more vegetarian options besides salad. My son is a vegetarian. The only real entree choice was a quinoa bowl, which normally comes with chicken. He asked to leave the chicken out.
Great for casual dining with delicious food. The Skirt stake and Burger were delicious.
After a visit for their excellent Happy Hour, we decided to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary with a quiet romantic dinner for two. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional, from both the waitstaff and managers. They brought us a complimentary dessert with a candle to help make the meal memorable. We'll be back for more!
Always great service and the food is always great
The service snd the food was excellent. I was a little disappointed in the limited fish and seafood choices, however the halibut I selected was perfectly done. I recommend the side of Brussels sprouts, they were done to a T and quite tasty.
Enjoy Paul Martin. However, on the fixed special menus ,
there needs to be flexibility, ie yukon potatoes for mashed
Need to watch portion side on salad and bread. There has
beeb times when portions were small.
We love the food at Paul Martins - the Oysters are some of the freshest, and the steaks are great quality. Last two times we have been, we had to send the steaks back to be cooked a bit more, but they absolutely took care of that and steaks then ended up perfect.
Expensive as a regular place to dine, but a very nice treat.
Best restaraunt in Town! I can not wait to go back for my 2nd time ever!
Nice spot for lunch, with booths that Inspire privacy. Had the warm quinoa salad with grilled vegetables, a delicious healthy meal.
We love the food and service at Paul Martins but I am considering a different restaurant for our next special occasion. I am allergic to cabbage but if I get the bbq ribs I have to take slaw. My favorite entree is one of the only 2 that does not allow substitutions. I am looking for a restaurant that can accommodate my health issues.
Great new brunch and a good deal as well. Worth a try and repeat. It might be nicer with a few extra items on the brunch menu but overall a great start.
Wonderful experience as always!
Easter Brunch was excellent
They did a great job, food was outstanding.
Service was very good
As usual, Paul Martin's was delicious. We enjoyed Easter brunch and were delighted to find out that they will now be offering weekend brunch regularly. Those biscuits are heavenly! We are always very pleased with our meals and the good service. I look forward to any meal here. I've had it all - Happy Hour, lunch, dinner, and now I get to do brunch - Yay!
Such a disappointing Easter brunch. My son’s Monte Cristo sandwich was so oily - it was dripping down his chin. My veggie frittata tasted like seafood which was not any ingredient in the dish. The “honey” butter for the biscuits was not honey butter - we had to ask for honey on the side. The best thing was our waitress - she was very accommodating.
From the hostess to our server, they were very courteous and friendly. The food was fantastic, ambience fitting, cocktails were good.
Triple Bday celebration
Our server was terrific. The time of day was unusual for us and the noise level was far superior than what we are used to there, meaning we could enjoy our conversation❤️. I had the brick chicken and it seemed to be swimming in an unusual amount of liquid making the mashed potatoes a bit watery, albeit delicious. I will admit that the leftovers reheated to perfection the following evening! The rest of the order was great!
Service was slow and confused. And we were seated (2 of us) in an alcove with a large roughly 20 person birthday celebration. Food not bad but not 5 stars
The food and service is always amazing!
Our favorite restaurant in the Conejo Valley. We have lived in this area since 1974 and have had hundreds of meals at dozens of restaurants. But Paul Martins in Westlake consistently has excellent food, great ambience and friendly professional staff. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or bring a client.
Great food, great service.
Salty and soggy salad
It was a good experience until dessert. We ordered the brownie sundae and we said no nuts as it came with almonds and there was a nut allergy at our table. The dessert came and had candied walnuts, which we were not told and present a serious health risk. We advised the server that we asked for no nuts and she argued with us as to the type of nuts on the sundae, completely ignoring the issue of the nut allergy. She refused to take the dessert off the bill. We have never encounter such an attitude of aggression with what was a true health issue, it soured the complete dining experience. The server was more concerned with being right then the health of her diners.
Our servers were very helpful. Our friends were stuck in traffic and we were accommodated well as we waited.
Great as always , Monday wine and dinner special is a great bargain
Great service, fine food, treated superbly at front desk by Nicole and by floor manager, Paul. Was pleased that our server never once complained about us delaying her by talking so long or our desires to share dishes!
Good food. Love the new Martini glasses/stemware!
The food was excellent!
It was a beautiful day and lunch on the patio was perfect. French dip, fish tacos and steak and bacon tacos were all good. Service was exceptional. Manger greeted us as well and thanked us for dining with them!
Always a great experience at Paul Martins!! Food and service are both top of the line!!
Very good food and wine. A menu with options we like. Reasonable prices. Warm, attractive setting. Very pleasant and attentive waiters. A bit too noisy, but offset by impression everyone is enjoying themselves.
The manager was fantastic and very personable.
The never disappoint. Good food great service. Love to eat here every day or for special occasions.
Consistently good food and service. Enjoy the variety and they always have something everyone likes. Can't ask for more.
