Thanksgiving dinner was so special! Good food, music and ambience.
Thanksgiving dinner tasted great but there may have been something wrong with it as both my wife and I had “gastrointestinal difficulties” later that night.
Our waitress, Sangeta, is wonderful! Warm, friendly and outstanding service.
Great waiter, food, the manager was watching the dining room to make sure everything was OK
I never thought I would be dining out for Thanksgiving as we usually have a family gathering at someone's home. With just 2 of us this year, I decided to take my mom to Paul Martin's American Grill. The food was amazing. The acorn squash soup was flavorful and creamy. We decided on the classic turkey dinner and every bit of it was delicious. The service was also top notch. I do think it is a lovely setting but sitting by the bar with football game on TV, that is the only part I was not a fan of. I do like nice music and no TV for dinner. Regardless I would return. I am still craving this meal.
Birthday - waitstaff excellent!
Love the burgers!!
Great restaurant, never disappoints when I bring new visitors!!
Great Gluten Free options. Booths are paneled to help with social distancing.
Butter cake desert is good and worth a try. Interesting menu, food is ok, service good, ambience better in bar area, probably return to maybe try something additional from the menu. Chicken fried strip was ok, definitely different for an LA restaurant. Good but not Texas .
Staff very helpful in making the evening very nice. Meal as always good 😊
our party's salads and soups were very good but the halibut was very salty and would never order again----the volume of martinis were very small and would also not order again-----prime rib was excellent as were the seafood tacos----staff was all excellent and we enjoyed the patio dining very much
this used to be our favorite restaurant...and only two weeks ago it was still pretty good food, but so noisy...
since it opened in Westlake Village we ate there at least twice a month for lunch and dinner...but after last night we are finished with Paul Martin.
they changed the menu and added very expensive food and deleted our faves...and what we ordered was from mediocre to vile. They no longer serve bread and make you pay for stale cheddar rolls and what they call the tiny bit of butter which seems more like margerine...
all told for spending over $60 it was awful...we will not go back...so disappointing
The food is always good here, but they just updated their menus and took away the free bread bread butter for the table, give less food and still charge a good price. Now they are charging more to change your side. Changes were made that do not benefit the customer.
The quinoa bowl was absolutely delicious! And it was well recommended by our fabulous server, Ali, who had the perfect amount of balancing conversation and serving and allowing us lots of time to linger.
MamaJuju, thank you so much for your kind words. We will definitely share this with Ali. Thank you!
The ambiance was great, the server was attentive and friendly. I feel like the menu is limited. Nothing really got my attention. They should rethink what May appeal more to people. The cocktails on the other hand were quite delicious. Overall, the ambiance made for a great night.
The service and food was amazing!
Annie was very sweet and my friend and I had a great time. Thank you
The food was perfectly wonderful!! We had brick chicken which was the best my husband has ever had, he ordered it “juicy” - they do not like to,prepare chicken “medium rare” and it is ALWAYS overcooked and jerky dry everywhere we go. My friend and I shared the halibut special which was delicious (albeit pricey) and the short ribs which were cooked to,perfection. I gave the overall 4 stars as the drinks while very good were ridiculously tiny - not small, TINY!!!!! We each had a martini and I’m certain there was not even a full shot in any of them. Not a great start but a delicious meal and excellent service!!!!
We truly appreciate your feedback and thank you for supporting our restaurant. We always want to exceed expectations and deliver on our Promise. We will definitely share this review with our team and discuss. Thank you so much!
Food was delicious waitress was very accommodating
We truly appreciate your support! Thank you
Good food; service a little slow but friendly. Nice outdoor area.
Had a great server that was attentive and we did not ever feel rushed to order or have to leave. Food came out exactly as ordered and was very delicious. Have always had good dinning experiences here. Will be coming back again soon.
Patrick, thank you for the feedback and supporting our restaurant. We look forward to serving you again soon!
A bit pricey but we'll worth it!
Excellent food and superb service made for a wonderful meal.
We truly appreciate you! Thank you so much!
All good. An enjoyable evening out and didn’t have to miss the World Series. On the bar screens.
Thank you so much for dining with us!
Fantastic service and very delicious food, every time. A true favorite. TY!
Our server Matt was excellent.
Service and food were both excellent. Our table was ready at the time of our reservation and we were seated immediately.
Great dinner again at Paul Martin's. Fried chicken is excellent and so was the calamari appetizer. Dessert - butter cake - very special and outstanding. Our waiter, a young man, was exceptional - friendly and efficient.
We have been there before. This time our server was training another new server, so normally I'm sure he is great but this time things kind of went wrong. He asked bread for the table and it was never brought. Asked for it and it was one end piece on a plate for the two of us. Our main dish came to us before the appetizer so that went back. Our appetizer came which was delicious (deviled eggs) We were not through and out again comes our main dish. It was luke warm to say the least. The mashed potatoes were cold and brought us out fresh warmer ones. So normally this place rocks, just not this time.
Went there for husband's birthday. Was just okay....for the price and value, not necessarily worth it but to try, it wasn't terribly bad. Kids meal value was great. Steak did not come out medium but well done. But we just ate it. Salmon was good, but sauce was mediocre. Not sure we will be returning.
The sever forgot to offer bread then forgot to bring it after we requested 2 times. Finally brought it at end of the meal.
Only 1 refill offered on water.
Oversold the MAHI MAHI SPECIAL and it was terrible-dried out and at $45 with no sides a rip off.
Never going back.
It was an amazing experience for date night. Food was delicious and so were the drinks.
It was a lovely luncheon of culinary food, friendship, good service, positive esthetics environment.
What a difference a day makes. We tried to make a reservation on Saturday and were told that the earliest available was 7:45 p.m. I subsequently made a reservation for the next night (Sunday) and the place was ¾ empty. The food and service were great, as always. Every dish was as good, or better than expected, but do yourself a favor and try the Fried Chicken, which was absolutely incredible.
Weekly steak night: check
The food was pretty good, but it’s overpriced for what it is. The service was excellent
Food was very good, waitress was great. Overall, we enjoyed the whole dining experience. Prices are pretty high.
Excellent food and great menu. Our server, Sangeeta is the only person we will sit with. She has an amazing memory and is the hostess with the mostest.
