Music was kind of loud and at one point they were playing like hard rock.
Service was slow in the beginning but overall it was nice.

The food was wonderful and great lunch express menu. Our server was very personable and attentive. Knew the menu and food. Our bus guy was very polite snd made recommendations for our dessert and had a great smile and personality.
Ate here for lunch. I had a quinoa veggie bowl which was very good. My partner had the lunch special, fried chicken sandwich salad and fries, pretty ordinary.
My partner and I would have liked to see more salads on the menu.
I have eaten dinner here before and it was wonderful so I'm just judging the restaurant for the lunch experience wee had.
A large group of friends came together after a long covid separation and it was wonderful. Great place for a gathering. Waitress was outstanding with her patience and excellent service. Definitely returning soon!
Food was delicious and service was absolutely amazing! Will come back here again next time I’m in Arizona. Can’t wait to have another wonderful experience!
Server was very good. Most of the food was very good, but ribs had too much fat. The Butter Cake desert. however, was outstanding and memorable. Little too much noise for quiet conversation on a Friday night, but not really obtrusive. Will definitely be back.
Our server JT was great. I had the short ribs very good. What was weird was the sliced bread instead of rolls. Butter cake is a must.
It’s been two yrs since I dined at this restaurant that I used to frequent every month for lunch or dinner. The food prep is still excellent as is the service. I was surprised to see the restaurant virtually empty for lunch. My only criticism is that prices seem to be much higher now — as I have found with most other restaurants. In all fairness, I’m guessing their costs have increased with Covid.
Lunch for two with tax and tip was $72 without drinks or dessert. Had we each ordered a glass of wine and had larger entrees (I had a salad), I think the bill would have been way past $100. Maybe that’s OK these days? Still, not something I’m going to do every week.
Another great meal that was only topped by the exceptional service.

Decent place, but food cost performance is medium level
We were celebrating a birthday on a Friday evening. The restaurant was bustling with 2 large parties. Our service was outstanding as was the food. The noise was a bit loud with the large groups near us, yet we all had a fabulous time!
Food was delicious, and our server Paul was fantastic - very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back!
Monique was an excellent waitress… attentive and engaging to interact with. She kept our drinks filled and even when the manager offered a refill and forgot.

is tied with the spinach artichoke dip as the favorite! They both were so delicious! Ribs were awesome, fall off the bone and so flavorful. Husband had the French Dip which he said was good but he wishes he would’ve gotten the chicken that everyone raves about. Our waitress was great, Shawnee I think her name was. She was on it, keeping drinks full and dishes cleared 😊 We will def go back everytime we are back in Scottsdale!
We met some friends for dinner at Paul Martin. It was a wonderful place to eat and the food was delicious. Ryan did a great job as our server. Will be back!
I had the red snapper grilled over risotto and it was delicious. I also recommend the spinach/artichoke dip because it is not loaded with mayo and fats.
Great food. Server was very helpful and spot-on with recommendations. Nice environment, but unfortunately became very noisy with a group of men dining and very loud. Staff was very apologetic and tried to make the situation better without being confrontational. Great place!
Waiter very inexperienced. I had to ask leading questions to find out specials etc.

Like everything about Paul Martin’s. Lighting is just right, noise level is virtually non-existent, host was cheerful and welcoming, our waitress (Monica) was professional, informative and attentive. The wine list is well-informed, the menu is interesting and diverse, and the food was delicious and perfectly prepared. One of the better restaurants in Scottsdale. Highly recommended.
We are fans of this establishment. However, this visit was disappointing. I ordered BBQ ribs, they were extremely fatty. Unlike many of their competitors these ribs were not good. I can't imaging why the chef or cook would have every cooked them in the first place. The management was on top of the problem and offered to discount the price or cook another dish for me.

On Sunda, September 26, my family dined at Paul Martin's. I had the small filet mignon, my wife and son had the brick chicken, and my daughter had a burger. All of the food was great, as was the service from our very nice waitress. We will definitely be back again. I just wish we didn't live in the West Valley, over an hour away.
We dined at Paul Martin's during Restaurant Week and ordered from that special menu. The choices were good and the food was excellent.
Good food, small portions
I have been to the Irvine store before and it was always a favorite. This Scottsdale location was even more enjoyable as it felt a tad more sophisticated. Food was great and service was excellent! We had the deviled eggs which are always yummy. Between the three of us we enjoyed a great steak, the Asian chicken salad and salmon tacos. Of course a great bottle of D’aou Cabernet was great as well chasing a solid Manhattan straight up.
All-in it really was a great experience and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this restaurant and location!
Everything was amazing, from the food to the service I can’t complain about a single thing. Overall value was spot on and we will absolutely return.

The food was probably the worst I’ve had. We were 5 adults & 1 child. Wven the child’s food was horrible. I never give bad ratinga becuase I don’t feel it’a fair, but this was an exceptionally bad experience. Even though there were tons of servers, we were often left wondering who can help us with either taking an order, extra this or that, or just plain whwn ww were ready to pay. Our out-of-town guest was asked if she needs a box to go even though she has only taken 2 bites out of her filet mignon & the rest of the table was clearlry still eating! Just bad all around!
Out first time here and it won’t be the last. Food was good, service excellent and we were able to have lots of ‘catch up’ conversations with our out-of-town guests.
We went for restaurant week. The food was good.
