We’ve been customers for many years, and in our opinion, things have never been better. Across the board, food items have been consistently delicious and sized perfectly. Drink selection is generous, and the Espresso Martini is fabulous. A special thank you to waiter Kevin, the cherry on top of this great dining experience! JPS, California, USA

My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary with dinner here and had a marvelous time. Not being rushed through a dinner is such a delight and our waiter ( Tony) was attentive, thoughtful and professional - making this a real treat. The food is wonderful and we will look forward to coming back soon!

Had a great anniversary dinner with my wife on a Tuesday night! PM's was its usual high quality service and food. Ingredients were fresh and prepared just right. Our server, Matthew was especially helpful. He was able to be attentive without being intrusive and his recommendations were spot on. Thank you Matthew!

We went for St. Patrick’s Day dinner. The corned beef dinner was excellent, and the service was great. We eat here a lot, as this is one of our favorite dinner spots. It is always good.

My "go to" menu item has always been the short ribs, but this time they were not good - one big slab that was tough and stringy.

Very disappointed in this experience. Service was slow, intermittent...food was cold and mediocre in taste. It was not that busy at all when we were there, but at one point one of the staff complained about “being so busy.” Meanwhile our server was way more interested in talking wine with the next table, of four men, than helping us...even though we ordered a full mean including premium wines.

We had a great experience during happy hour, two days before...so we came back for dinner two days later. We will not be back.

Nice restaurant. Service very good, but food was tasteless. 3 of us ordered salads. The Ahi tuna dressing had no flavor. The French onion soup had very little broth, full of croutons. Nice portions, but overpriced.

The parking lot was very full on a Monday night We drove around for 5 minutes waiting for a space to open up. We get inside at 6:08 and were told our table for a reservation at 6 o'clock was given away. The hostess said they texted me, which did not happen since there was no text from the restaurant on my phone. We were eventually seated and I asked our server to recommend a white wine and he said that wine wasn't his forte. This was a first--I'm not young and I have not, nor had my guests, ever heard this response from a server. I had a nice skirt steak dinner, cooked perfectly and the pork chop was also nice. Two guests had the chicken, which they both thought was over-cooked. Overall, the experience here was not stellar.

Already responded but my wife and I were there for our 40th anniversary. Her meal was at a nice temperature. However, we ordered a starter mushroom soup and it was barely warm.
I ordered the prime rib special and my food was basically cold, and the meat was tough and chewy.
This was our first time at your restaurant and not sure if we’ll be back.

Service was excellent! Hostess to Mr. Jones, our waiter, was impeccable! Steak was average. Compared to Black Angus or Cattleman’s it was very good. However, compared to Ruth’s Chris, for close to the same price, it was more like Black Angus. All our steaks were cooked to our specifications, but there was very little flavor which was disappointing! Salad and vegetables were very good, but I didn’t come for the veggies. This was our first less than desirable meal at Paul Martin’s.

Our table, tucked away at the back of the place, really helped lessen the noise of this bustling restaurant. Our server, Mina, was fantastic. Easy going, friendly and efficient. The brick chicken continues as a standout dish on the menu. Great job to the entire team!

Andrew was personable and accommodating we really enjoyed his conversation. Availability was a problem, Andrew was stretched too thin and we had to resort to getting help from passing servers to fulfill orders. We waited to order then told two different servers about starters for the table. Then waited some more ... our drinks took too long coming from the bar. Once the food was out dinner was delightful but again we were left mostly to ourselves having to flag the nearest server for anything we needed. Overall the experience was disappointing from an operational standpoint. If we return we will definitely ask for Andrew’s section as his personality made up for most of the inconsistencies.

But be careful if you are paying with a Wells Fargo Gift Card. This is one of the restaurants that does not allow the full cost of the meal to be charged to the Gift Card. They require you use 25% of the face value of the card to pay the tip (The instructions with the card warn about this practice but say it should only be a 20% withhold). This may or may not be a problem depending on the cost of the meal and the face value of the card. Also, the server did a poor job of explaining the process and the manager finally got it cleared up.

Our table was in a perfect location. The waiter was friendly and extremely helpful with wine selections, which were exceptional. His service was attentive yet not intrusive. We had Filet Mignon done to perfection, wild Alaskan halibut prepared perfectly, and shared sweet potato fries. The food was superb, plated well and portions were generous. We passed on dessert, but were left uninterrupted for the remainder of our stay (about three delightful hours). The cost was appropriate for the quality of our food and drink, and it was an utterly fantastic experience!

The side of brussel sprouts was delicious but lame. Considering the price of the steak, a few more brussel sprouts isn’t going to break the bank.

Ben was our waiter. Sounds like he has only been with Paul Martin for 5 months. But you sure would not know it. So knowledgeable of the menu and each dishes complexities. So attentive and fun without being a bother. The food was exceptional, the service perfect and we love the vibe of the room. Need to get back there more often.

We had a date for my fiancé’s birthday, Paul Martin’s came highly recommended from a coworker so we gave it a shot, I loved our server JT he was very knowledgeable about the menu, We were able to substitute a salad for the soup at no charge The portions were nice and the Brussels sprouts were to die for. I would highly recommend this place the only complaint that I did have was that my steak had a lot of gristle on it and I’m not a big fan of that but the taste made up for it thank you so much for a nice birthday dinner.
