Paul Martin's American Grill - Roseville
Food was overcooked, tough fish ( halibut and salmon) the food looked like it sat under a heat lamp for 30 minutes. It was my birthday and was a huge disappointment. The service seemed as if they were way under staffed. Wont recommended or go again.
Fabulous as always! Birthday celebration for one of my girlfriends a new the five of us had a fantastic time with frat food.
It was great, service was fabulous right from the start look forward to bringing the family back sometime soon
Love this place. The ambiance is great. It's very quiet and very pleasant. It is a little pricey but the service and quality of food is superb. I would highly recommend Paul Martin's for any occasion. The cocktails are great to and wine list very good.
Loved the special menu Chilean seabass and beet salad. Perhaps you could add that to your regular menu some day. Our Butter cake dessert was amazing as well. We will definitely return and reccomend to our friends and family.
Service was slow. Lightning in this place stinks. To bright in a few spots and very very dark in most places. Many people using cell phone to look at menu and food. Food was fair , nothing special. This was second time there. Unfortunately there won’t be a third time.
Just wasn’t a good night for their special Valentines menu otherwise it’s normally always good
Atmosphere was great drinks good food was not as what was expected especially for the price and not a very good selection
Upscale casual dining. It was a very enjoyable Valentine's dinner experience. It was beautiful when it was new and it's still beautiful.
It’s impressive my Valentine’s Day Me & My husband join fully with food & cocktail that good pairing for special Valentine's menu, and also Benjamin our server so friendly and gift a good recommendation menu for us, we will come back again.
Not quite as good as our last visit. Maybe we’ll skip going there for holidays from now on. Service was a bit lacking this time and the food was good but not outstanding given the price.
I took my wife there for Valentines dinner. The bar was great but the we got seated for dinner. Our server 'Selina" was moody and not very pleasant. We got our food Steak & Lobster, the lobster was cold and not shelled half the meat was stuck to the shell. I've bought bigger prawns than that, I feel after spending almost $300 I expected better service and a completely better dish. My wife and I frequent Pual Martin's Roseville 2+ times a year and this was the worst.
Delicious food. Went on Valentine’s Day so noise level was expected to be high. Server was very nice.
I ordered the Valentines day special of filet and lobster. I requested the filet to medium rare and it was medium. The lobster tail was broiled and that made it very difficult to get the meat out of the tail. The meat was stuck to the shell and I had to use my fingers to get the meat out of the shell and free it from the shell pieces. The meal was not worth the price. The other item ordered was a beet salad. That was only so so. It lacked flavor. After our meal the table was quite messy with bread crumbs and water condensation from the water glasses. That was not cleaned up prior to our dessert being delivered. We have been to Paul Martin's in the past and had a better experience.
Overall, a good meal and dining experience. Although, it is overpriced.
Be prepared to wait for your cocktails, bread and butter, wine and anyone to check on you if you need more drinks or bread. It is mostly Ala-cart for your sides. We watched several other diners having the same issue.
We had a great meal at Paul Martins. A knowledgable and friendly server and delicious food. My entree salad dressing was too peppery for my taste and they immediately offered to replace it with a non-dressed salad and came back to check if it was better.
Very happy with the service and food and we will be back!
Very poor service and we will probably not be back
Food is always good
Our service was excellent
The service was very poor. We waiting 20 min to give our drink order and it took over an hour to get our food. Spoke to mgr who apologized and comped entire meal. This was the worst experience we’ve had at Paul Martin’s. Very disappointing
Waited at least 10 minutes for our waiter. Seated in a booth for two right on top of a party of 6 with very little space between us even though the restaurant was empty at the time. I could barely get to my seat because the table of 6 was so close. I had a UPC sticker in my salad!!! The waiter laughed and told me a story about bugs in his food while he was dining once, mind you, I was eating my dinner while listening to this. Compensation for the sticker in my salad was not charging us a corkage fee.
I have dined here many times... have had better experiences
This is my favorite go to restaurant! Anniversary, birthday, girls night, hanging out with the husband, or spending time on the patio when the weather is nice. I love it here!
Great service great food.
Always have an amazing meal here. The service is impeccable. Tonight’s waiter was Kevin, and he was amazing. Attentive, funny, informative, and made the evening much more enjoyable. Will be back
We had a great time at Paul Martin's Happy Hour. Service was fantastic, food was mighty tasty, crowd was buzzing, manager came by to check on us.
We've dined at Paul Martin's for their Sunday night prime rib special MANY, MANY times. The prime rib we received last night was probably the very best we've ever had there. It was a gorgeous (and generous!) cut, with just the right amount of marbling and little visible/trimmable fat, prepared perfectly medium-rare. Service was excellent and they were able to accommodate my husband's need for a gluten free meal. The 3-course prime rib dinner is an incredible value - especially for the meal we received on this visit!
Very busy last night, the place was hopping. We were seated at our reservation time and were able to find a seat in the bar area to enjoy cocktails. Problem with my husband's ahi tuna salad. They forgot to include the Soba noodles and they overdressed it. They made up for it by not charging for the mistake and included a dessert. My meal on the other hand was perfect. I had the skirt steak that I have had many times, cooked to perfection. A pleasant evening overall. Our server Dina was very enjoyable and made us feel so welcome..
We had a wonderful evening at Paul Martins last night. The service proved by Taylor was impeccable and on point. The food is always good but the Ahi tuna appetizer which we never had before was excellent. It was a culinary creative dish which we rarely experience Paul Martins. We always have very good tasty fresh food, this dish, was a step above that. Excellent! Highly recommenced.
Eric was great! Explained option clearly for my wife who has a very restricted diet. Food quality was 2nd to none. Wine list impressive, with most available by the glass. Thanks for making our anniversary special. We will definitely be back! TC
Paul Martin’s is one of our favorite date nights. Never disappoints!
Service was very slow, usually I don’t have any issues with service but Friday was terrible
We enjoyed the evening. Great food and service
The creamy mushroom soup was excellent. I did not enjoy the chicken sandwich as much, the bacon was not crispy and it sort of weighed down the sandwich. The restaurant is a convenient place to meet up with family and accommodating to handicapped folks.
First time having dinner here and definitely plan to go back. The prime rib special was delicious as well as the shrimp linguini. Our waitress was wonderful too, but can’t recall her name. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Kevin is a marvelous manager and Tori our waitress was superb. Thank you.
70th Birthday celebration.
Food was excellent. Great service just a little slow with a large crowd. A bit pricey but we knew that going in.
