Thanksgiving. Ran out of multiple menu items. Food was overcooked. Waitress didn’t pay attention (seemed like it was a long night and she wanted to go home). Salad wasn’t delivered.
Just overall not a good experience. Would not recommend.
Great meal, Great service, would highly recommend this place. Turkey dinner for Thanksgiving was great. Dressing was delicious. Pumpkin cheesecake dessert to die for.
The atmosphere was nice and we had a wonderful waiter. He kept us informed during a busy time - thanksgiving dinner. Food was good except the green beans were not warm. The rest of the dinner and the wine was really good. We were grateful to have thanksgiving dinner there. We’ll visit again.
Food was great. I reserved a table way in advance for my family for thanksgiving. The manager tried to sit us at a bar table with strangers. When I told him this is a family holiday dinner and I do not want to eat with strangers he said well you could eat outside because we are booked to capacity. I told him I am not eating outside and I booked a table and that’s his problem if he over booked. My husband has health issues and we should not be forced to sit at a table with strangers who could possibly be sick. It’s a holiday and it’s private time for a family and you don’t know what families go through during a holiday or why they are eating out instead of having a gathering at home. It honestly almost ruined my night. He did cave in and give us our own table but it was upsetting. You need to get your act together and realize not everyone wants to sit with strangers at a table. This should be asked first and not forced. Oh and also the girl who was seating us said you can sit at the bar with my child. lol was like no I reserved a table. Very unprofessional
Thanksgiving. Great taste & service.
For the price it is on the order of a 4 to 5 star restaurant, but sadly it is a 3 star. Main course was brought out before appetizers were finished, medium rock music was piped in and check was brought in mid dessert, so the service resembled more of a diner than an upscale restaurant.
Excellent food and service! Great atmosphere and bar area.
Chaotic dinner: Wrong fries delivered, beef in French Dip had no flavor and Au just was cold. Timing of food delivery was off. We got appetizer before cocktails arrived, then finished dinner before the bottle of wine arrived. We dine here often, but, last night was very ‘off’. Also, the long ‘banquet’ table next to the kitchen door was in a super high traffic area right next to us. It was so tight that an older woman could not get her walker through, plus once that party sat down…we pretty much lost our server but gained incredible noise, constant traffic squeezing by to move around, just awful. We’ll give Sienna our next dinner business
Loud ambiance for a not packed house. Service not great. Food was "delivered" quickly, from the kitchen, not checking to see if order was correct. After seeking attention from our server, it was corrected and tasted very good. Our experience was not worth the price.
Great as always! Nice service and great food. Good ambiance
Went out for our anniversary to Paul Martin grill for the first time. The appetizers came out separately because the waiter put the order in wrong. So the spinach dip came out with the meal. Then the waiter had me cut in my Ribeye because a few steaks have been called back to the kitchen because undercooked. After a few bites my steak was not cooked properly. The chicken was uncooked so we had to send that dish back as well. Overall not the night we expected to have for dinner and was too late to eat anywhere else.
Wonderful experience so glad to see that they haven’t lost a step in providing great food and wonderful service! Thank you!
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday.
Always our favorite. Drinks, service, ambiance, food! Love Paul Martins!
My wife and I have been wanting to go out on date and check out some places for Happy Hour. Paul Martin’s was on our list. What a great place! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were excellent!
Great server at community table. Steak great, halibut a little dry. Overall I would go back.
The short ribs were outstanding and the wine list was quite good. Overall a really nice meal.
The dinner was overall excellent and the waitress was extraordinary with recommendations and service that made the night pleasant and enjoyable. The pork ribs were extremely good and no one had any issues or concerns all evening.
Lindsey, our server was VERY good and helpful in selecting our orders to help us celebrate my wifes 83 birthjday.
I couldn’t believe happy hour was only at the bar and not available at the table, wish we knew that before we sat at a table and ordered and all.
Was a birthday dinner. We've enjoyed Paul Martin's food in previous visits. Felt the food was just not up to your previous level - - - kind of blah.
Service (server Matthew) was great! This helped to somewhat overcome our dissatisfaction about the food.
Tom our server was excellent! Very knowledgeable with gluteen Free options. Manager was also excellent!
We will definitely be going back again and ask for Tom.
Quentin was a terrific waiter. Salmon lunch with quinoa was great. Nice ambiance.
Great restaurant and food. Our service was above par.
Enjoyable restaurant for a lunch. Very nice service.
This was our first time at the restaurant so this is just a snapshot of our experience. We had heard really good reviews about this place and decided to go there to celebrate our daughter’s 13th birthday (just 3 of us). We had reservations so our table was ready and we were promptly seated. We ordered appetizers (calamari and biscuits) which were excellent. The challenge we had was with the food (entrees). My daughter ordered a cup of tortilla soup which was pretty much bland and tasted like salty broth with pieces of chicken floating. Her blackened rib eye steak (med well) was pretty tasteless ( not worth $40). Wife ordered famous brick oven chicken which again was bland and nothing to write home about. She had to ask for some sauce on the side to get some flavor. My chicken fried steak was not bad .. but again for $40 not sure if it was great. All in all the meal was around $215 (including gratuity and couple of soft drinks) which seemed a lot for the worth. Maybe we didn’t ordered the “right” dishes … or don’t have the acquired taste. But this is how we felt. I will commend the staff. They were pleasant and very attentive.
Unbelievably noisy! Waiter was surly. Prices were ridiculous.
Came home and both of us got sick from something. Only dish we had in common was house salad.
I’ve eaten there before and enjoyed it. Never again.
Outstanding food and service—this is our go-to place for special celebrations! The waiter was prompt and personable. They do have lunch specials for $16. Our group had fried chicken with mashed potatoes & salad, fried shrimp, and steak salad. All 5 of us loved our meals. Ambiance is inviting and elegant.
We had our Birthday celebration at Paul Martin. The food was good and restaurant was clean. What stood out to our party was our service. Our waiter was wonderful! We look forward to returning soon.
Terrible food and service. We have eaten at Paul Martins no less than 50 times-even hosting a large party there years ago. A few weeks ago we dined there and though the food was not as good as usual, we gave it a pass due to covid and also staffing issues. However, last week will be our last time there-which is so disappointing as it was our 'go to' neighborhood eatery. Service was awful-our dinner was delayed for at least an hour after our calamari CRUMBS were served-calamari that had to be eaten with a spoon as it was tiny, tiny battered bits and pieces. Halibut was tough, tasteless and did not taste fresh. When we asked our server why the dinner was so delayed, he said there were NO STAFFING ISSUES and in fact it was all systems go~We would have sent back our food had we not been with out of town guests. So sad that this restaurant is in such decline-
First visit, Wow!!!! Service and food was beyond expectations.. We will
definitely be dining there again..
The manager was very accommodating and the service was amazing!
I have to say……. From start to finish with a cocktail to an appetizer to the main course to dessert was an 11 out of 10. Applause for that. Applause. 11 of 10
The waitress needed some work on attention and check in. 5 of 10
But the only bad part of our moment was if you have a table near the bathrooms, your nose will have an unfortunate taste of chemicals and urinal cakes from the restrooms. Booooooo. Booooooo. 0 out of 10 on that.
But as I stated. The food and drinks are like no other. Just stay away from areas near restroom. And enjoy.
Service was great. Food was overpriced for what it was.
Great Service and food. We sat on the patio and the noise level was conducive to conversation. The experience is consistently excellent.
We were delighted with our lunch at Paul Martin. The menu was varied and interesting. Each plate had a special sauce or unique flavor and the presentation for each was perfect.
We had our dog with us and they were kind enough to accommodate a nice table
setting on the patio. We plan to return for a dinner soon and eat inside at one of the charming red booths.
Your staff was outstanding, friendly and efficient. Thanks for a perfect afternoon.

The service was the best I’ve ever had! The waiter was very friendly and made sure everything
Service was slow due to lack of staff, otherwise great place
