The blackened ribeye was delicious. The halibut fresh and tasty. Really enjoy the sweet potatoes!
Service was quick (Friday 7pm) pleasant and friendly.
Great service from the front desk… From the server… And the kitchen
The food was really delicious and the waitstaff service excellent.
Happy hour was great. Service too. Looking forward to coming back.
Enjoyed it. Food was very, very, very good. The service was very, very, very good.
The service and food at Paul Martins is always top notch. Staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. Our group liked their food choices too.
We dine here frequently but tonight was outstanding! We sat in the bar area and shared a dozen huge and tasty oysters and several small plates on the happy hour menu... perfect evening!
Our waitress was great. The cocktail were very good & the food was delicious. Thank you.
My husband and I went to dinner to celebrate being married for 1 week. We both ordered signature center cut filet mignon with spinach and shared Mac and cheese and potatoes. Our butter lettuce salads were delicious... that being said... My husband ordered his steak medium rare and I ordered medium. Mine was GREY!! And his was medium well... we eat steak maybe 3-4 times a year... big disappointment. Portions were uneven too... but seriously mine was a chunk of leathery burnt cow. Potatoes were bland and Mac and cheese was runny... such a shame because the last time we went to Paul Martin we had a wonderful meal.. probably not going back though. Definitely not worth $150
The booth and service were delightful. We asked for an end, quieter booth, and were escorted to our favorite one. Two of us ordered beer on tap, but the problem was with the two house Martini's two of us ordered. They were clearly watered down and served in their usual small size glasses. The surprise was the bill: $15. each plus tax and tip. No tipsy here, it was too small and weak. We hadn't asked how much they were, assuming they'd be reasonably priced for house vodka. Next time we'll order beer. Don't bother with their mixed drinks: they have always had paltry pours, but for this price, we were really shocked.
We ordered calamari for an appetizer, and it was quite good, as was the bread that we had to ask for. Our friends loved the skirt steak, and we loved the ribs. The burger was just OK. In all, though, we had a wonderful evening.
Passion, our server in the bar was excellent and Saul, our server for dinner was also exceptional. As always the food was fantastic!
A favorite dining option I always recommend to others.
Their Monday wine dinner for 2 is hard to beat. Great choices of entrées, tasty salads, and a nice selection of bottles of wine, all for $65. Magnificent
We had a great dinner.
Great food and excellent service from Kris!
We celebrated a birthday and had a wonderful time!
I had a hair in my salad, which was kind of gross - waiter did take care of it - but I was still charged for it and the manager never came over to apologize or anything - was also embarrassing as I was there with clients and I didn't want to make a big deal about it - so I was being discreet. Still something should have been offered even quietly
As usual the food was fabulous-Love the Skirt Steak, and my guest was thrilled that the oysters are back on the menu! it"s definitely one of my favorites!!
4 if us dined and 2 of us liked our dinners of brick chicken and ribeye, and the other 2 were disappointed. Their ribeye was tasteless and the wagyu was rare when he ordered medium. We booked early Easter dinner expecting a special meal but when we got there we were told that it ended at 4.
Some mix up occurred with the wait staff and no one greeted us after we were seated until I asked who was assigned to our table after waiting for 10 minutes. Our server, Andy, was pleasant and courteous, however, he was often missing in action and we were left to ask other servers for refills of water or to replace an empty pepper mill. No issues with the quality of our food and we each found our meal to be delicious.
Wonderful food and superb service ! We had the price fix Easter Brunch and it was all delicious.
Great time on Easter Sunday! Good food and drink!!
We reserved a table for 2, were seated upon arrival. The foood was perfection. We ordered the Prime Rib and the Ribeye, which were cooked to order. We will be returning for a Sunday Brunch.
Totally worth enjoyed Easter Brunch there! Delicious food, amazing cocktails & reasonably priced. We can't wait to go back!
This review is for brunch. I do not recommend them for brunch. The food was mediocre and the service was not what I expected from a nicer restaurant. I’ve been for happy hour and dinner and would recommend for either of those. Just skip the brunch as there are FAR better options.
Easter Dinner with family.
Started off a little rocky...restaurant had numerous multiple open tables, but we had to wait a while to be seated (had a reservation too). Then when we were finally seated...they put us on the patio, next to the street...and it was a cold and gloomy day. Requested to be moved inside, they made the arrangements and the rest of this experience was decent. Definitely recommend the brick chicken...marinated and seasoned well, very juicy...and the 6 layer cake. The bar made drinks very inconsistently, as I ordered the same drink a few times on this night and they all tasted different. Omar served us with excellent priority. Overall, just go for the food and hopefully you’ll get a great waitress/waiter.
We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We plan to go again.
We had a great Sunday meal celebrating my sisters birthday. Great host and very attentive and good recommendations..
The food and service were great! We will be back!
We got a great deal on their Monday special. Two excellent entrees, salads, and a bottle of wine. The wine was essentially free.
My friend called at the last minute to see about getting dinner and I found this restaurant was between us. My friend doesn't eat meat, but does eat fish, so we both opted for the fish tacos. They were really delicious. My cocktails were tasty and my friend's beer was very good as well. We happened to come at a time when a very large table had been set up in the middle, so it was a little loud, but not bad. I imagine it's pretty quiet most nights. The service was good, but the big table did keep the waiter busy. I would definitely go again.
Had the braised short ribs and they were out of this world. Valet parking kind of far away from the front door. It was nice being able to hear the people at my table talk.
Best service we've had in several years. Paul Martin's has always been our local go-to place for a consistently good meal, and a good glass of wine. However, service has been declining for some time. Not tonight! The service was terrific, and the restaurant was full and humming. Terrific!
The chicken skewers were very dry and cold. The sauce that came with it was tasteless as well
Great all our experience. Food, service and company!
I honestly though the food quality and taste was oustanding. However, the value/price for what we had was definitely not. Dollar for dollar, i think there are much better options nearby. Entrees are overpriced and under-portioned. I had the Halibut and it literally came with 6 shrunken spears of asparagus. Not to mention the Halibut itself was maybe 4 oz or less. The desert felt like half a scoop of ice cream and an oversized marshmallow to make up for it. I mean ice cream is pretty inexpensive right? Again, not to bash them, the food taste was outstanding but in all honesty, not worth the price.
The Best salmon any place. Delicious tender steak and great dessert
Hello. We use to come here every month but on the last 3 occasions we were not treated well by the reservation supervisor.
We had a booth reserved three times in the bar via open table and on these 3 times our reserved table sign was removed and younger people were aloud to sit there. These 3 booths are for dine in only yet they violated their policy
This is disgraceful PR.. Paul Martin and their treatment of people over 40 has really declined.
Other waiters and another manager encouraged me to call corporate office and the managing partner. I was given both phone numbers
Nice surprise. I pass this place all the time and wonder what it's like. It's sits on the street but it's pretty private and I was surprised at how big it actually was. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good I would definitely go back. the wine list was good too, want to check out their Wine Wed!! Great for groups on the enclosed patio or back area. It may get a bit noisy when it's packed but I;m fine with a good buzz! Great deal,, everything was seasoned well (as my 83 year old pops likes to say! ) :)
Everything was excellent. This is one of my favorite spots in the South Bay. Great food and wine and atmosphere.
