Exceptional service from the moment we arrived until we left. Food quality was excellent. Happy hour specials until 7 PM were a real bargain.

Great food, but bartenders are not the best here. If your looking for good cocktails hit somewhere else. Very understaffed it’s not all their fault. I’ve been here half a dozen times in the last few months and it’s been the same every time.

I’ve always heard good things about this restaurant, we wanted a good steak and decided to try it. We had a reservation for 7:15 on a Friday night and were made to wait until 7:30 for our table while a couple with a 7:30 reservation was seated before us and many tables sat empty. When eventually seated we were placed next to a large party of 20 people. Food was mediocre at best, below average calamari appetizer, good kale Caesar salad, below average and dry steak (we shared the 22 oz. rib eye) and the overall experience was less than mediocre and we would never go back.

Good food. We went for an early dinner for our anniversary. It was happy hour so when sat, I had to flag a server after 10 min. I'm glad I did, as it seemed no one knew who was waiting on our table. After that, it was good.

This place was recommended to us by a friend. My husband and I were headed to a concert at the Forum and not from the area, so we were looking for a convenient place and nice place. This place was fantastic. Good food, good service!! And close to the forum. It was crowded for a Wednesday night, so we knew it had to be a great place!!! Would definitely go again!!

Service started with an apology for our 10 minute wait at our table. Food was very average at best and did not match up with the price. Maybe caught them on a bad mid week night but would not return for a second try.

Everything we ate was perfectly cooked from scratch. This was our second time here. The flavors were vibrant while the presentation delighted. I usually find it easier to critique, but the entire dining experience was flawless. Everything I’ve eaten was the best in its class.
The French onion soup was generous with its flavor and caramelized onions. Finished with a thick slice of melted gruyere. The wild shrimp on the handmade linguini had a light smoky blend of ocean, mesquite I. A lemony garlic wine Irish butter sauce.
The best ribeye. The best short rib. Everything just does a slow dance in your mouth.

Service was terribly slow during lunch hour. This location is surrounded by many businesses, so management should staff appropriately to accommodate parties who need to get in and out within an hour.

We are never disappointed going to Paul Martins. I especially like that they use locally grown produce and everything is fresh. Not an expansive menu, but good choices.

One person in my party expected the New York steak to arrive medium. He accepted that it was medium rare, but when he got to the center it was pretty raw. Myself and another guest in our party had the warm quinoa salad and it was amazing! I eat vegan but didn't ask it to be prepared that way so I don't know for sure if that was completely vegan but it was tasty none the less.

Service is always excellent and the ambiance is nice in the dining room. The wine and dinner special on Monday nights is such a good deal and the entrees and salads are fresh and delicious. One of our favorite restaurants and highly recommend it. And they have the best happy hour too.

We had to take family to the airport after dinner so we chose Paul Martins. We had 2 Prime rib dinners, Petrale Sole and a salmon dinner. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner while we caught part of the World Series. And service was top notch. We told the server that we had to leave for the airport so he was quick, efficient and polite. Can't say enough!

I made reservations for four people, requesting a both and indicating it was for a birthday. They called to confirm, wanting to verify that it was for a birthday. When we arrived the hostess walked past two large empty booths and lead us to a small table near the kitchen. We told her we didn’t want to sit there and pointed out one of the empty booths, which she gladly sat us at. Why didn’t she do that in the first place?

There was no mention of the birthday celebration, even though it was obvious we were celebrating a birthday. Why did they want to confirm that it was for a birthday if they had no intention of giving a little dessert to the birthday girl?

Aside from these things we had a very nice meal and the service was good. I just felt they didn’t really care about the reservation requests even though they called to confirm the details.

Just really well executed proteins with simple well flavored sides. Ordered the a la carte prime filet cooked mid rare. Received a mid well prime filet. Ordered the short rib entree. Received a pull apart short rib, jus, and beautiful fluffy mashed potatoes. Fries were spot on. Server, China, was on point, knowledgeable, not pushy, and let us enjoy our evening. I’ll be back fo sure.

Manager "Chris" was very friendly, that was only my fourth time there and each time he remember my name. Cynthia was not my waitress friday, yet she came and spoke to me after she recognized me. I will always ask to be seated in her area.

The ambiance and food was fine for the occasion - lunch with a colleague. However, we were left unattended to constantly. We arrived at the beginning of the lunch, before the crush and did not see our server for 15 minutes. He constantly forgot about us. I won't return.

We had family visiting from out of state; we had been to Paul Martin's previously to celebrate our anniversary in August; on Monday's, they offer the "Wine and Dine" for two people that includes salad, entree and a bottle of wine for $60.00! They offer bottles of wine that cost $54.00, so you are practically eating for free and the portions are large enough for two meals for each entree! Great value, great service, great food!

This was our (my husband and myself) first experience at Paul Martin. Although we have passed the Paul Martin many times (for a few years) while driving to Archlight to see a movie, we never thought to have dinner there. We usually go out on Fridays with another couple for movie and dinner. Since the other couple was unable to make it this past Friday, we decided to try a new somewhere new for dinner--and we are happy we did. We were seated at a lovely booth where would could practically "people watch" the entire dinning room. Our polite and knowledgeable server introduced herself shortly after we were seated and took our drink orders (which were "to-die-for," even if my husband only had a virgin bloody mary--I had a dirty martini, it was great. My husband ordered salmon and loved it, and I ordered the brick chicken--I am one chicken-eating lady, so know good tasting chicken when I eat it--this brick chicken was perfectly cooked--still moist on the end side and crispy on the outside. Both of us loved our dish and agreed the service was A+. A little unhappy with the dessert menu--thought it could have contained more and/or better choices. The hostess was also great---as we were walking out, she said she hoped she would see us there real soon--and she will.

Thank you, Pamela A.

Nice place to eat but it's not cheap. Service was excellent. I had a steak with Brussels sprouts. The sprouts had a vinaigrette sauce that didn't work for me.

We went to Paul Martin's for a Special Offer meal, which was quite good. We liked our serving team and they did well by us. It was a Sunday evening which accounted for the very quiet rating. An attractive feature is the "no corkage fee" on the first 2 bottles of wine. Otherwise, I thought the bar prices were pretty high ($17 for Vodka and Tonic and wines by the glass in the $13 to over $20 range).

Brick chicken was very, very good.Happy Hour was going on, but we chose to eat in the dining area since it was alittle more quiet. Hostess was fine. Neither extra friendly or cold, just didn't get a get an outstanding first impression. Asked for a booth (both in OT request and when we arrived-30 minutes early). Seemed alittle confused by the request. Not crowded at all in the dining area, but happy hour area was fairly busy. Picked out our booth so that was nice. Service was good, not outstanding. Again not extra friendly, but adequate.

I took two of my former co-workers that have never heard of the restaurant and before they left they stated this was the best they have ever been to before and they will make this their top to take their friends and family! My waiter Chris was excellent! keep up the good work!
