It was great!
Poor guy behind the bar seemed to be alone to take care of tables such as ours. We were in at an off time mid afternoon so understandable but still frustrating. Took forever to get our orders in, other tables that arrived later were served well before us. Waiter tried very hard to juggle and accommodate us, including being really nice to our little ones. However, we ended up with the wrong pizza crust (we ordered pan and got deep dish). Food was tasty as always but very late and disappointing not to get what we ordered. He gave us a discount to ck

Dysfunctional restaurant from a brand that does better in Hayes Valley location. Staff was very dislocated [nearly 15 minutes to come to table for welcome/drink order], deep dish pizza dough was pretty undercooked. The place was empty so plenty of time to pay attention to doing it right. Not even sure that they are trying, unfortunately.
The bar was out of most of the wine on the menu. Then the waiter has trouble taking our order and was not well instructed on the gluten free items on the menu. My friend has celiac and has strict requirements and the waiter had to ask about many things, not ensuring confidence that the order would come out right. Overall, less than average.
Was told they are no longer doing open table reservations. We like the thin crust margarita - better deal than Delfina and we can watch the warriors from their seats opposite the bar.
We’ve been to other locations and enjoyed our meal however this time around wasn’t the case. We walked in for a party of 8 and they weren’t aware of a reservation. After our server didn’t bring drinks and the order for a long time and kept forgetting things. Along with that we saw 2 mice crawling next to our booth absolutely disgusting and a HUGE health violation. The manager said they come often and started looking for them.... then our pizza comes and it’s wet and mushy overall experience was horrible never stepping foot into that restaurant again.
The food is fine but I wont be coming back here. The service is about as bad as it gets.
They gave one of our pizzas to another table after we waited 45 minutes for it to be cooked.
The overall vibe of this restaurant is just sad and gloomy. Also the really bad art made me sad. The deep dish was just alright nothing special.
Our salad was over dressed with bottled dressing. The order of grilled mushrooms was scooped from a container and served cold.....they didn't think to warm them. The pizza was average. For the money, it wasn't great!
Food was ok, but my salad WAY over-dressed therefore kinda YUCKY. Despite almost no one there on a Tues rainy night, our very lost & missing but sweet 20-something young Girl server could not be found much, seemed very distracted by things not related to working, seemed to be running around & chatting with co-workers, forgot to order one of our pizzas with the pepperoni requested, didn’t watch our table. We needed to ask any worker we could find for silverware & napkins a FEW times, then our bill so we could get the heck out. Service HORRIBLE at this location, things were better a few years ago at the totally dead Irving Street location. Will they survive?
We saw a mouse during dinner, which ruined the entire experience for me.
The patxis in the marina has always had a strange curse of bad service. The pizzas always take a long time to come out. An hour plus if the retaurant is busy (which it rarely is). Or in my case, my large pepperoni and cheese took a full hour and 15 in a conpletley empty restaurant. My 14 year old daughter even knows that this particular retaurant always has bad service. The wait staff are nice but always seem to be in a mild panic about something and are not trained in a customer first mentality. When I had a problem with my order my server was quick to say that it was not his fault and that I read the menu wrong vs jumping to help solve the problem. Overall I have always enjoyed their thin crust pizza but I am treating my last visit as my family's last supper there and will never order or visit a Patxis again. Ten times bitten - now shy.
Amazing food with outstanding vegan options. Very long wait to get served though
It was pretty good, above average
Absent Service & Mediocre Pizza
We went to Patxi's on a quiet afternoon. We should have left when it took nearly 10 minutes for water and a menu to appear. Sadly, we didn't. Food was okay, but way over priced for what it was. Simply nothing special and for $27 for each 14 inch pizza, there are plenty of much better options in the area. (for example: A16 which is only a few blocks away) The icing on the cake was once our food was delivered, our server never once came back to our table. Not once. In the end I had to hunt her down for the check. At least I felt a little better when I noticed our situation was no different than any of the other patrons who had the same server.
THE WAIT FORTHE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA WAS NOT WORTH THE 30 MINUTES A BAKED CRUST WITH AN INCH OF SAUCE ON TOP OVER SOME SMALL LAYER OF CHEESE PROPORTIONATELY WRONG
SAUCE WAS BASICALLY TOMATOES LACKED SEASONING
Great service & great food! Parking was ok too 😃
The place had a decent deep dish. Little steep for a while 14”, but if you split it with someone you will go home with leftovers. Hospitable staff
We had reservation for four people. We were not greeted. Waited for ten minutes. the waitresses saw us. Nobody made eye contact. when we asked to be talked to, the waitress made us wait another ten minutes and was not helpful. we decided to leave and never come back
Great experience
Love the pizza its the best in all bay areañ, the waitres and the manager have a lot attention with us... It was my boy friend bday and he love it❤
Server, young lady from Huntington Beach, was excellent. Food was above average.
Whenever I come to San Fran I have to have some of their pizza. Location was excellent and service was quick.
