Patty Macs- Hollywood
My husband and I were very pleased with the service and the food here. We will be coming back again!
We went to this restaurant on NYE excited by the menu. We were extremely disappointed by the inedible, greasy and flavorless vegetables we ordered to start and the very oily salad. The drinks (margaritas) were undrinkable as well. Our waitress was very kind and apologetic as it seemed she was doing the job of at least 4 other people. Cleaning, bussing tables, sweeping the floors, bartending, hosting and more. She was quite literally running from one table to another with little to no help. The food was some of the worst my family has ever eaten, we would have gotten up to leave but we felt so badly for our waitress (who already had at least 2 other tables walk-out on her). At the end when paying the check we asked about the chef and she said there was someone filling in that night, not sure if this was a one-off staffing issue or something bigger. I would unfortunately warn everyone not to eat at this establishment.
There were small bits of cod in the overly battered Fish and Chips. The Bread Pudding was excellent.
Great sunday brunch w the girls
Such a wonderful gem in Hollywood. The owner “Mac” always stops by to say hello. Awesome brunch.
I went for brunch, I ordered the Frittata, it was delicious! I did get the Mac n cheese to go, being a Mac n cheese place, I felt I should try it. It was good, overall the waitress was friendly & attentive. Overall, it was a good experience.
It was fine.
A Downtown Hollywood Gem!
Recently had a great brunch experience at this renovated spot while celebrating my adult son’s birthday! The bellinis were yummy and we loved their menu. Service was excellent (our waiter was very charming/personable and efficient).
Will definitely return to explore more of their menu!
A nice meal. Service was very slow - even from the beginning. Took a long time to get a menu, place the order and then get the food. It was good. I ordered the Greek Mac and cheese and my wife ordered the carbonara Mac and cheese. We love pasta and did enjoy it, but did we love it? No. And if a restaurant is going to make its fame off of Mac and cheese it needs to be beyond amazing. The place gets really good reviews and I hope that once we get past covid and good help can be acquired the place gets back on track. I would like to return. We dined on Sunday evening 7/11 and there was only one other table at 6:30 pm. Place was empty.
Good drinks, food and service. Would definitely go back
Food and service were great. Really enjoyed it!
Service was friendly and fast. Food was HOT and tasty
Peach sangria - stir it a lot before sipping!
Truffle Fries - crisp and HOT. YUM
Mini patties - first of all you cannot “mix and match as the menu stated” which wasn’t good when one of us doesn’t eat beef. You have to get all 3 chicken, beef and veggie.
Crust was flaky and tasty - just don’t expect your traditional
Jamaican patty crust. Overall could have been seasoned a bit more. Beef - Ok but lacking that kick and flavors we were looking floor. The veggie lover really liked the veggie patty which was onions, cabbage, spinach. The chicken patty was good.
Lobster mac - YUM.
Chopped apple salad was fresh and tasty! The walnuts were really good.
Do plan to share portions so everyone gets to taste a little of everything.
great mimosa deals. The cups are really big. The bartender is very kind and gives great service. Not sure about the guy who smokes outside, he seemed a little rough around the edges.
My meal was ok.
Went away on vacation, this was a place that came up to pick from. Thought why not, let’s try it out. Blew out socks off, the crafted drinks are amazing and the food is definitely made with TLC.
I would highly recommend if you have celiac. Food took a while, but surfaces were cleaned before meal was prepared to make sure there was no cross contamination.
The plain Mac and cheese is not that good, definitely not worth its value.
Service was terrible. One waitress for the whole restaurant, bar and outside dining. It took forever to get our food. She did the best she could, but was not expecting to spend more than 2 hours at a Mac & Cheese place. Also, it is very hard to wait that long with kids. Wait definitely overshadowed food.
We thought the food was excellent. We had the jerk chicken, Mac n cheese, and prosciutto and fig flatbread and thought all were fantastic. Drink recommendations were also great!
We went to this place because it advertised being Jamaican influenced. This was not true. The jerk Mac n cheese was more hot pepper than actual seasoning, which made it very hard to eat. I don’t believe we completed our meal. I would not go here again.
Great food for the price, mimosas are a must for $25 they are bottomless & can try all their different flavors! Got to meet the owner who is amazing but is struggling with staff which leads to slower but still amazing service! Its the perfect brunch spot!
Slow to greet. Slow to take order. Drink refills barely. Food took an 1.5 hrs and was missing two items and were told it’s too late now will take “a long time” to make it now. No apologies for this at all.
Did receive a complimentary drink for the celebration
The food was fantastic. Great place to bring you family
Delicious! Great service and really enjoyed our meals, recommend Patty Mac to anyone looking for a good meal in South Florida!
It's a nice place to eat and entertain friends and family.
The food and the service was good, but not worth what the total bill came out to for a family of four.
We are down here for the winter from NYC and mostly avoiding dine-in due to Covid but decided to go here last week. Great decision!
The food at this place was amazing. Everything we tasted was soooo good. I would call it gourmet comfort foods - really high quality food but at decent prices and a lot of variety (even for my gluten free MIL and dairy-free niece).
Definitely get one of the Mac and cheeses and definitely the Parmesan fries and the wings. I had the chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was amazing!
It also seems to be family owned with great service. The owner was very friendly and attentive and wore his mask the entire time. We really loved the place!
We loved Patty Macs. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. We're happy to return soon!
The food was slow but worth the wait…we had our
Specialty fries for dessert. Good service, small but friendly staff.
We were the only people there, great food, somewhat pricey, but inline with other contemporary options in the area.
Patty and Mac were wonderful hosts and great ambassadors to the new Hollywood. The food was incredible and Mac's attitude and welcoming demeanor made for a great experience. I'll be back often.
Modern diner is absolutely spot on! It reminds me of the diners of previous years with a clean look. Service was fantastic as was the appetizer of tortilla soup and "modern" bacon cheese burger. Loved it all!
Upon reading the menu, I thought it would be a nice brunch place to eat at on a Sunday afternoon. I was incorrect. The waiter was very nice, but she didn't really listen to my order. I asked for a juice mix and she gave me strawberry lemonade. In addition, we didn't receive our food until 45 minutes after we ordered it. Yet, I kept seeing food leaving the kitchen for online orders. When the food did arrive, it wasn't piping hot, half of it was missing, and both bacon and french toast were undercooked. The last straw was the order of two bread puddings. The waitress said that she would put the bread pudding in once our food came out, because it takes 20 minutes to make. Thirty minutes after receiving our food, the waitress told us that the bread pudding would be 15 more minutes. I told her to cancel the bread puddings and to just bring the check. All the while, I had to ask for silverware, I had to ask for water, and overall the food was a miss. Don't go here unless you just want to waste money on subpar and late food.
Great service, great food great vibe. Overall great experience! Try the mushroom Mac absolutely delicious
The owner/ chef was so personable and attentive. She uses all fresh ingredients and all dishes are cooked fresh.
Fried calamari so delicious cooked perfectly. Prosciutto and fig flatbread excellent. Buffalo chicken mac n cheese also delicious. Lobster mac n cheese while delicious could of had a little bit more lobster. Bread pudding was a great ending to our meal. We definitely wii return
Server/owner has a good sense of humor. Service has some lulls. Probably bc it appears there is 1 cook and 1 server (owner).
Food is very tasty. Burger is exceptional. Fries are good, but would like a larger serving. Jalapeño mac n cheese is very good. The bread pudding is phenomenal.
Ambience is the downside to the experience. The space is very clean, open, and modern. Yet the restaurant is empty each time I’ve dined here. The emptiness affects the dining experience to its detriment.
Will be back again and again. Just wished there were more people in the restaurant.
Good food, great service, good for large parties
On vacation and wan
The food was excellent and the owners were very personable. They had two little boys that were well mannered. It's a family restaurant with a very laid back setting.
Be prepared to deal with screaming children running around the restaurant in and out of the kitchen. Yes, the owners had their two children running up and down the restaurant screaming. If you want a peaceful brunch, this is definitely not the place. This was my second time going there and it was the same issue the first time with their son running around playing in and out of the kitchen. Now this time it was 2 kids. Also, there was hair in my food the first time I went. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and visited again, and there was hair in my napkin set with my utensils. I definitely would not go back again. While the husband was bringing one of our drinks over he coughed and didn't cover his mouth. When preparing food, customers do not want to see a server coughing without covering up. The patties and the drinks were good!
Bright, open, & inviting! Bottomless Mimosas was excellent, along with the Cool Cucumber Lemonade. Our entrees were on point, fulfilling, and delicious.
