Patti Finnegans Pub & Grille
The food was very good and the portions would feed 1.5 people in most cases. I would recommend this place if you are going to a show at Meadowbrook, it was convenient and quite good. If you are looking to eat healthy, this may not be the place, but if you are in the mood for some good deep-fried fish or buttery pork schnitzel, those were great.
Great staff and restaurant. Small venue with good view. A little hard to find but worth the effort. Staff goes above and beyond to make everything right!
My salad was mediocre and a disappointment -there was way too much lettuce and no taste to the dressing. The crab cake, however, was very good. I would try a different salad next time as I enjoy sitting outdoors with the pretty view.
Our service was just fine.
The view is spectacular and so relaxing! Great service and wonderful, friendly staff. Food is average and some items are a little over priced.. May want to consider some type of happy hour to be more competitive. Overall, still one of my favorite places. Would highly recommend.
I would reccomend for that fact that the food was delicious and the presentation very nice. It was raining so we were unable to sit outside, which would have been desirable because the live music was way, way too loud!!! Two of us were unable to carry on a conversation without practically yelling across the table. This is a common complaint. Management should take note of the diners comments.
Ate outside overlooking golf course. Beautiful view. Food and service was great
Very noisy inside.
Food great - enjoyable evening
Relaxing location overlooking the golf course. Waitress is super friendly and competent. Thursday, Friday and Saturday music is wonderful.
Staff friendly , nice view of golf course. lemon rice soup ,veggie burger and calamari were great. Nachos were an amazing tower of chips / cheese.
Alas, a new golfing season has brought Patti Finnegan’s Pub back to life -- in an embodiment so poor that it is bad. New management has apparently taken over (Jim Kokas is gone). The "best" characterization of the day of our visit would be "chaos." New servers were still trying to figure the system (or lack thereof) out, the greeter/manager was doing everything except greeting or managing (we were greeted by the chef). We were immediately informed that two-thirds of the entree selections were unavailable due to some problem with the refrigeration (no substitutes offered). The icing on the cake was the guitar-paying "troubadour" (who works Thu, Fri and Sat). His amp was turned up way too loud and his song selections were ill. However, he had a following in the room that were not to be denied -- and did not fail to heap copious praise upon him for his work. With the soggy fried and incessant din taken together, be assured we will not be back.
Liz our waitress was excellent during a very busy night. She handled everything very well and made our evening very comfortable and enjoyable. Food was good too..
Food was fair. One person in a group ordered a stuffed pepper. It came burnt on top and the taste was through out! Was sent back to the kitchen and they remade the entrée! Second time around was good! Manager was argumentative and was not happy that they had to remake the entrée! The musician that they had, was way to loud for the small dining area! Overall it’s a beautiful place to dine, if you can sit out on the patio, if weather permits!
So happy that Patti Finnegan’s is RE-opened! Love the cozy atmosphere and the staff is great - food excellent too!
