Patsy’s Pizzeria first opened its New York City location at 2287 1st Avenue in 1933, having been the dream of immigrant newlyweds Pasquale ‘Patsy’ and Carmella Lancieri. Patsy’s Pizzeria quickly established itself as a family style, old-fashioned neighborhood restaurant. Patsy’s Pizzeria catered to the growing population of Italian immigrants who longed for the cuisine of their homeland in a casual family style atmosphere.

Also attracted were New Yorkers who wished to taste the new culinary expertise of the Italian immigrants and their newly developed brick-oven pizza. Without a doubt, Patsy’s Pizzeria established itself as the originator and leader of the family style Pizzeria restaurant.

Had a blast as usual. Food was great, dj was great. We danced all night. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

We only have positive comments. We were quickly seated. The staff was very nice. The food is excellent. I had the chicken parm and the chicken was very good and tender. You can almost cut it with your fork. We were able to sit there and talk for a long time. Greatly appreciate that no one looked to rush us out. I highly recommend.

Great chicken wing appetizer. Interesting and different, crunchy wings but covered in onions and peppers… loved it! Eggplant parm was wonderful the sauce is excellent. Side of pasta is included and really good quantity . Super nice workers. Pleasant vibe. Will return!!!

As always, everything was excellent. The food and the service were excellent. The wait staff are always patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Excellent food and better service by Cinthia. Pizza was perfect and the appetizers are great. Specially the buffalo egg rolls.
