Patsy's Pizzeria - 69th St
In the early 1900’s, working in the Salumerias of Little Italy, Pasquale “Patsy” Lancieri perfected New York Style Pizza.
In 1933, he opened the city’s first Pizzeria Restaurant, establishing himself as New York’s foremost pizza baker and inspiring scores of imitators.
Over 60 years later, Patsy’s Pizzerias still proudly serve his famous recipe of traditional New York Style Thin-Crust Brick Oven Pizza throughout the city and regarded as one of New York’s Original Brick Oven Pizzerias.
Great option for our out-of-town family dinner guests. We were a large group, but they accommodated us with no problem at all. The staff was pleasant, friendly & professional. The food was a definite step up from the average casual dining experience - especially the meatballs & the chicken parmesan! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Patsy's to any large group for sure...or anyone craving fantastic Italian comfort food!
Great Place to visit and it's great we could set up a table on Open Table! We all loved their food especially their Pizzeria's. We were able to easily talk at the table! There were a group of kids near us that had a birthday party so that's a fun idea for a party!
Great pizza place. Very helpful and cheerful server. We love the thin crust margherita pizza!
Food was mediocre at best and very over priced. I've eaten at the original Patsy's and thought the quality of the food would be similar , it was not. Food was equal to a frozen packaged meal, purchased at the grocery store. I dined in the city for 4 days and this experience was very disappointing.
Love their pizza
We had their outstanding pizza ! It is a large pizza place but offers many Italian entree choices.
Decent beer choices and house wine.
Not as nice an atmosphere as other Patsy's Pizzarias.
