Came in for lunch and can not wait to return for dinner. The food was outstanding and the service was incredible.
Patrono is probably our (my wife and my) favorite date night place right now. Great wine list and rotating menu - always a good experience. We got the gnocchi/artichokes this time - loved it.
We tried Patrono for the first time tonight at the urging of friends and it was superb! The food was fresh and expertly prepared with perfect sized portions. Our server, Trent, did an outstanding job and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back soon!
Excellent food and service, very friendly staff. We would have enjoyed a slightly bigger table for the 5 of us. The place was a little small and crowded.
Loved everything! Will go back!
Got a house cocktail which was very good. Unfortunately both pasta dishes I tried were very disappointing. Our dinners arrived about 5 minutes after ordering them, which doesn't seem like enough time to actually cook pasta. The Cacio e pepe was solely flavored with black pepper and the pasta didn't taste like it was cooked in salted water. The shrimp it came with were overcooked and rubbery and there was no sauce to speak of. The orecchiette calabrese had several small pieces of chicken thigh over overcooked pasta, but at least it came with some sauce. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
For our 40th anniversary- this was a perfect choice. The food was great, service was excellent, and a very good wine list. Highly recommended!
The food is authentic Italian and exceptional. The wine list is also very good.
We had a wonderful, relaxing date night dinner. The food was delicious, the wine list (all Italian) had lots of choices, and the service was excellent. There were several terrific vegetarian entree options. We will definitely return!
Always enjoy Patrono. Food is always delicious. The four of us were on our way to a show at the Civic Center. It’s the perfect place just around the corner. My wife and I arrived for our reservation and were informed that the other couple were running behind. We ask our server if we could have some bread while we waited for them to order. She informed us that they do not bring out the bread until the meal is served. 15 min later we noticed that other couples who were seated after us all had been served bread before their meals. Once our meals were served the server spent the next 30 min apologizing that they were waiting for bread to come out of the oven. She finally brought bread to our table literally as we were finishing the last bites of our meal! I have never been turned down for bread prior to a meal at any restaurant. It was hot and it was delicious. Just wished we would have had pre and for the meal.
First experience at Patrono’s... will not be the last!!! Very impressed with the service, thank you Tamera for your recommendations. Everything we ordered was delicious! Apparent there are many regulars at this hot Italian spot!
Great food, even better service. Good place for a date, but a little bit pricey.
Our second time at the restaurant, just like last time the food was excellent. The wait staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our only negative comment would be the noise level. It doesn't not foster quiet conversation.
Amazing food, and an incredibly friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend this place for a nice evening out.
Patrono’s has always been one of my son’s favorite places, although I was never much of a fan. Tonight, Patron’s became one of my favorites, too. We started with the warm olives, and the suppli al telefono. Both were very good, as is the bread. I ordered the arugula salad which was also very good. Our entrees were all fantastic. I ordered the carbonara. It was so delicious. It comes with an egg in the middle that you stir into the warm pasta. The sauce with the peas and pancetta was creamy and crispy. I fell in love with this dish.
We have been to Patrono's several times and really like the restaurant. However, our food this last time was really boring. They have changed the menu again and all of the appetizers that we loved are now gone. Also with the entree's . I had the jumbo crab pasta and my husband had the chicken thigh dish. We both agreed that the dishes were good, but very average and boring for what they cost. Our waiter was good and informative. The wine we had was excellent. We will give it a try again in the fall when their menu will change again according to the waiter.
This is one of our favorite places to eat. It is quiet, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is outstanding,
Another outstanding experience at Patrono. By far, the best Italian food in the OKC area.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was fabulous!! Wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and had great recommendations. It was a Tuesday night so it was not super busy but it was perfect for our occasion. We will most definitely eat here again.
Everything was wonderful, service, wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert! All 4 of us had something different and all were excellent.
Food and service was outstanding as usual. The chef really has an art for fine dining and it never disappoints us. Keep up the amazing work and we look forward to coming back.
Everything was great, our server was very attentive and had very good recommendations!
At first I was a little disappointed because I had made a reservation for 5 people and they tried to sit us at a table for only 4. So we ended up at the bar where Jason took care of us. To start we ordered the suppli al telefono. It was very delicious. For drinks we ordered the honey bubbles. It's a tasty white wine. Jason was knowledgeable on the wines they served. I ordered the gnocchi with grilled artichoke. The best gnocchi I've ordered anywhere in Oklahoma. It was cooked perfectly like a real chef instead of some line cook making it. I also had some of the sausage and meatballs. I was sad to here it was not bought from an actual Italian grocer. Just a simple suggestion, get your Italian sausage and cheeses from Loveras Italian grocery in Krebs Oklahoma. I really enjoyed this place from the staff all the way to drinks. Again these are just my own opinions and feel free to try for yourself.
Patrono has recently made some changes for their Spring/Summer menu, and they are fantastic. Our table had the swordfish crudo and the gnocchi with artichokes. I will be back to try the rest of the new items on the menu.
Patrono continues to impress. I keep trying different selections from the food menu and the wine menu... I have not been disappointed yet! Everyone is very helpful!
Loved it! We will be back!! Service was outstanding.
Patrono used to be one of our favorites, with very authentic Italian food. Unfortunately, last night we were disappointed. They had just changed the menu for spring/summer, and all our favorites were gone. I had the gnocchi, it was okay, a little tough and fairly expensive for not having a protein included (server suggested adding). My husband had cacao de pepe, added on protein. His was disappointing-sausage was very charred on outside (almost burned) dry on inside, pasta was very dry, not a lot of flavor. We split a salad, and a bottle of wine. Our bill with tip was $130. If it had been great, it would be worth it. Maybe the Fall will be a better menu for us. We will hesitate to risk it at that price.
The food was excellent and the surroundings are cozy.
Outstanding food and service! Great vibe! They treat you like family!
Food was fantastic, service was excellent. Only complaint was noise level. We had never been there, so was not aware how noisy it would be. Maybe that evening was unusually noisy as there was a table of 6 and a table of 8 (loud) ladies near us. In hind sight, we should have asked to move, as the staff was very attentive. We will be back.
The service has always been great. They understand the need to prompt attention on nights when there are events at the Civic Center. Small menu but the entrees to date have been very tasty. We will go again.
Had dinner here for the first time with a friend. It was very convenient since we were seeing a show at the Civic Center. We will def be back. Great food, service, and ambience.
Trent was AMAZING! Wasn’t any question he couldn’t answer and he was on top of our every need. Couldn’t have asked for better service!
We were in town for the half marathon and we were a few mins late because of parking issues due to all the other events in town. The manager was very hospitable and very nice. Our waitress was great. Would go back again and tell a friend too.
Fantastic food. Great wine selection. The gnocch with artichokes was incredible.
Great place! Great food! Great service!
This was my second time at Patrono's and as I wrote last time, we like it a lot. The Crab pasta was really good.
We were in town for a tour of OU and found this on Open Table. How fortunate for us!! We arrived a few minutes early and were warmly greeted by Robert. Instead of making us wait by the door he walked us back to a couch by the bar where he told us we’d be much more comfortable while we waited. He was right, we relaxed, talked about the wine list and chatted for a few minutes . Table was ready right on time. From there Trent took over. He was, in a word, captivating. He knew the wine menu, brought us a few tastings and, wait for it, listened to our feedback. He came back with exactly what we wanted. From there he lead us through the evenings menu, listening (a lost art). They were out of the gnocchi but he offered an alternative and recommended using a different pasta with all the same other ingredients. Our meals were amazing. Fresh, hot and delicious. Dessert was spectacular. I can promise anyone who reads this that they won’t be disappointed. I’ve been an Open Table member forever and use it several times a month. In all that time, I’ve never written a review of a restaurant. That should tell you everything you need to know about Robert, Trent and the entire crew at Patrono. I just wish they had one in Dallas
There is always a friendly face to greet you and make you feel so special. This is where you go if you know about hidden gems in OKC.
