Great food and great service!
We dined here with friends after reserving a table for 4 on a Wednesday evening. We were greeted and seated promptly, but after placing our drinks order it was a long time before the waiter returned to tell us about the specials and the soup of the day. She ordered the fish special (crab with pasta, $38). He, a vegetarian, found few vegetarian items on the menu and inquired about a vegetable risotto, which wasn't available. He finally ordered the baked ricotta and sweet potato appetizer ($14) and the roasted vegetable salad ($11). Her dish had very little crab meat and was mostly pasta. His dishes tasted okay, but nothing special. He requested a decaf mocha latte after dinner and was told they didn't have chocolate syrup, so he had a regular decaf latte ($6). Service was attentive, but not particularly helpful. All in all, we felt our meal (which came to $75 before tip) was a below average value. This was our second visit within a few weeks and neither experience was particularly satisfying. We did appreciate the fairly quiet environment, which seems to be more and more difficult to find in Oklahoma City restaurants.
This is always a good place for a quiet, intimate, comfortable dinner. That place you go when you've had a bad day and just want to feel better. The service is always very good, the food with regular little surprises, and the ambiance gentle and relaxing. I recommend Patrono for any occasion.
I visit often, and am usually happy with the dining experience, but this visit left me disappointed. The most disappointing aspects were, our waiter and the food I ordered. The waiter was cold and rude. My guest had food allergies and had some questions. He seemed annoyed and bothered. (The fella who seated us, was kind and helpful, so we chose to ask him for suggestions and information.) My guest’s food was delicious, as were our starters, but my choices were not as expected. The cheese didn’t taste fresh, and the meatballs in the Italian soup were dry and lacked flavor. The broth was delicious, though.
I will return, but will ask for a different waiter when I do.
Food was delicious and innovative. Service was just right. Good Italian wines.
Before the show
Patrono’s is First Class. Small, but that allows for the extra care given to each diner.
Great specials always on tap. Also great in house Lemoncello. Very nice.
Excellent food and service. If you like Italian food, this restaurant is a must.
Incredible food and the staff is perfection! The Irish coffee at the end is an absolute must!
Always, always, always enjoy dining at Patrono. Excellent food, great staff, lovely wine list.
As always - this place never disappoints. Service is beyond excellent. Food is always an adventure, encouraging me to experiment outside my comfort zone. I've never been disappointed. A really fun place to go.
This was our second visit to Patrono. Thor too care of us very well. Three of us ordered the sirloin steak. It was perfect and was seasoned to perfection. This was the best steak I have had in a while. The atmosphere was relaxed. Thor appeared at the table just before we needed either more water or to finish off the bottle of wine we ordered. Overall an excellent meal that ended with the four of us then going to the Civic Center for the Pops.
I'm definitely going to make Patrono a regular spot! It was absolutely fantastic! The warm greeting from Robert felt like an old friend welcoming us. Each table feels special. Garrett was our server and was just wonderful. But then the food came out... WOW! I am Gluten-Free and was not disappointed. We started with scallops and roasted cauliflower which was really good. The ribeye was possibly the best steak I've had. PERFECTION! My friend got the porkchop and loved it as well. We finished off with chocolate torte that was just right. Chef Krell was attentive to the food and to us. What a wonderful evening! Sei magnifico!
Enjoyed the wine selection and Thor was a fun and helpful waiter! The specials were delicious and can’t wait for our next visit.
Great dining experience with yummy delicious food!!
Lovely restaurant with a beautiful Italian wine list and wonderful food. Enjoyed a quiet leisurely dinner. Never felt rushed. Ordered each course separately as we felt ready. Loved the wine and the ambiance. Would respectfully suggest they play different music in the background. More in keeping with upscale rustic Italian, instead of a modern light techno beat. Thanks you!!
Wonderful lunch spot. Delicious food. Fabulous service.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Patrono. Wonderful cocktails, great food (the sole fish and chicken were superb) and the wait staff is beyond compare- very friendly and attentive!
Wonderful authentic Italian, the flavors were wonderfully mixed together. The acidic anchovy’s were incredible
We went to Patrono on a Friday night for dinner. Everyone loved their meal. I️ got the clams with pasta (i can’t recall the exact name of the dish)and it was fabulous. I️ cant Wait to have it again
The staff was very accommodating and warm in helping us celebrate a special birthday for our mother. We had a fabulous dinner, the food and drinks were excellent and it felt like home.
Delicious food. Our server was very helpful with making the right choices of wine and entrees. An authentic Italian experience in a cosy restaurant on a cold night.
The service and ambiance was very nice. The salad was great. We were a party of 6 and we had the pork chop, rabbit, orzo dish and 2 of us had the Carbonara. The entrees were all prepared nicely and had great flavor profiles, but I am not sure what happened with the Carbonara, it did not work. The sauce was watery and it had very little flavor. The host and waiter were nice enough to allow us to exchange for the orzo/clam dish which was divine! Its not always the issue but how it is handled and they did a great job. Nice wine list too.
So enjoyed our dinner! Very cozy! The wait staff was exceptional & knowledgeable of the menu. Service was just right, just enough attention without overdoing it. Will definitely recommend to other & will be back soon !
The service was excellent & the wait staff were great!
The staff is incredible and so personable. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and recommended great drinks and wine. Will definitely go back!
So happy we came. Everything was perfect. Will be back soon
First visit prior to Phantom of the Opera. A great location, very friendly welcome, table for 2 ready on arrival. Really great food, wife had the Carbonara and I selected the grilled sirloin. Both entrees were excellent. Nice wine list and an excellent martini. For dessert we had the Panna Cotta absolutely to die for.
This is one fantastic restaurant which is perfectly located for a visit to the museum, OKC downtown or the Civic Center. We will return.
Our first time to eat here. The food was delicious and the service was great. My daughter and I enjoyed our meal and plan on returning.
Our group frequent Potrono's monthly during Theatre Season. We enjoy every aspect of the dining experience. Highly recommend it! See you in February! Thanks!
The food was good, served in a timely manner. Kind, helpful wait staff. The sea bass was overlooked, which was disappointing for the $38 cost. The appetizer, dessert, wine selection were all good.
We went on Sunday before going to see Phantom of the Opera. Arrived a little before our 5:15 pm reservation and they seated us right away. Everything was delicious and I loved their all Italian wine list. We had appetizers, wine, main course, and dessert and had time to spare before the show started at 7 pm. I hope to have a reason to go back soon.
Great food and service.
Superb meal as pre theater event. Wonderful and not rushed.
We have been here before and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the ambiance is like a small restaurant in Italy. Love it and will go back.
As always Patrono provided a wonderful meal with excellent service before our event at the Civic Center. Tamara was our waiter and she was excellent! We met friends there who had never been and they loved it!
The location is great if you are going to the Civic Center or other area plays, but the food is the star of the show. I had the fish special, Chilian Sea Bass and it was excellent. No overcooked, not undercooked. My husband had pork chop from the menu and it was equally as good. Our service was spot on. It was a very enjoyable and delicious dinner.
We had such a great time at Potrono. The service and knowledge of the staff was second to none. We had one of the best tasting meals I have ever had and look forward to going back! I especially enjoyed the Chef bringing our meal out to us...it made us feel very special!
The “ITALIAN” restaurant smelled like fish. The food tasted as if it was made with Walmart Prego pasta sauce. More than over priced. The meals were the size made for a small child. Overall we were very disappointed. Olive Garden would have been a better choice.
Great service and excellent food. Reservation was acknowledged and on time. They were aware of theatre tickets and made sure the timing was done
