Our waiter was Roma who was excellent! Our table location was perfect. The only reason it rates 4 stars is 7 of our 9 guest ordered the rib eye steak. it was over cooked on all and only on went back because med. rare was order and the steak was well done. Though the other were also overcooked the were delicious.
Patrick's was recommended to us and i figured it was going to be so noisy and crowded but it was neither. 42nd street was packed as usual but the restaurant was a real oasis from the crowds outside.we had seafood and steak and both meals were great. we also had clams on the 1/2 shell and asparagus.our waitress was great and the deserts were also fine.
i have to say the best part of the evening was the music. Steely dan, greatful dead, the band, paul simon, etc.just the right volume that we could talk to each other and still hear the music.service was fantastic and owner or manager stopped by to see if everything was ok.
Made a reservation because we were dining between Part 1 and Part 2 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Turns out, the place was not busy (it was VERY close to the Lyric Theatre). My 12 year old had the fish and chips. He liked it . . . but not much. The chips were great (to me). The Reuben I had was good, not great (and, unlike most items we had during our NYC visit, not a large sandwich).
This was the first time that I went to Patrick's but it will not be my last. The service was very good and we were able to get out in plenty of time for the theater after. It is extremely convenient to the theaters. The food was excellent and I would definitely order it again. The music was a bit loud but it added to the feel of the place and I would certainly go again. By the way, there is an upstairs which I did not see because it was not crowded when I went on a Wednesday for lunch but sitting downstairs was perfect.
Food was ‘eh. Hamburger was great. The fish and chips and Rueben were not good. Drinks were great. I’d go back for drinks before or after dinner, but wouldn’t eat there
The place was loud. Food was just okay. The waiter was was good . No need to return.
Great food and even better service!! Will absolutely go back!
The oysters were extremely fresh n deliciouss
Live music on st. Patrick's Day was really cool.
Lava cake with the Jameson sauce was superb. 👌
St Paddys day was wonderful! Attentive service...Special priced holiday meal.....delicious and plenty!
Lots of room and no waiting
Maybe its because we didnt order alcohol like the table next to us did. The waitress seemed to concentrate on the bigger bill that was incruing the additional alcohol purchases.
On top of that she didnt replenish our sodas and lemonade (even though all glasses were empty including our water glasses) until almost done with our meal. A male assistant noticed we were not getting attention and asked us if we needed anything and we didn't get our ranch dressing with one of our meals, he said, "Ill be happy to get it for you." The waitress saw him and stopped him, said something to him and then dismissed him. She came to our table and said, "I will order the ranch." Then, she refilled our water glasses and said can I get you anything and we said please get us some refills. Again, she forgot about us and finally brought the ranch when our food was almost done. Then she brought the drinks but we were already ok with just being together dispite the treatment. Funny thing is wand e were very nice to her hoping it would create better results, but unfortunately it didnt help. My son who always gives servers the benefit of the doubt even said, "Why is she ignoring us?" When we received our bill there was a charge for the ranch? Too bad because that was a great location and we were staying at the Westin attached to the complex!
Service was very slow. Waiter failed to place our order before leaving. Seared tuna was over cooked.
The food was very good, especially the roasted Brussel sprouts. The restaurant was really nice and comfortable, especially the nearby gas fireplace.. The service was fine.
Good experience for us and the service was outstanding. Very nice staff
Very nice casual place. With a reservation, our party of 4 were immediately seated in a nice cushy booth. Our waitress Elizabeth was friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and the Lamb Burger, Rueben and Mac n Cheese were all very tasty! The owner came by and chatted with us for few - nice touch!
Loved the hypocrite, burger with a wedge salad on the side, no bun. They even got it medium rare as requested. Great selection of oysters. Fast service. Got us out in time for the theater.
Great, relaxing place for dinner before or after theater, or just to hang out! Energetic. Outstanding menu. Inexpensive for Times Square.
We had high quality beef burgers that were prepared perfectly. The onion rings are terrific, crispy and light. The shrimp in the shrimp salad were cooked properly, not overdone. The lettuce was fresh! The standard of the food can compare to any top priced restaurant in the City.
Topped off our meal with a sundae..scrumptious brownie and espresso ice cream!
Service is attentive and well timed.
You won't go wrong here.
Looking forward to going back to try other dishes.
All a la cart menu. Nice variety of appetizers/bar bites, so good for a pre- or post theater nosh. Seafood is fresh , portions are decent.
Had a great experience with my family. The waiteress Jordan was very good and very attentive to your table great customer service from her. The manager was also very visible and walking around making sure everything was going well. No complaints. The food is good and the drinks are strong which makes it worth it's price.
Overall, we had a lovely experience. The service was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. The location is great for the theater district and the prices are good for NYC. I am going to assume the kitchen was having a tough night. The food was the only disappointment. The appetizer (mozzarella sticks) were cold and our main courses were just OK. i think the menu needs to include a bit more on the description of the dish. We did not know there was sauce on the buns for the sandwiches or we would have ordered differently. I would give this place a second try because the service was wonderful.
Food was cold and quality poor. Devoid of taste
Great place to eat. The people running this place are very welcoming and friendly. The food is great, drinks are great and the waiters are around to help you with anything you may need. Even if it’s to change the channel on the tv.
Very poor experience. Had to send dishes back. Also food took A Very Very long time to arrive
Loved almost everything about the place. Unfortunately, service was a little off. Took about 10 min for a server to come over and greet us once we were seated. She then took another 10 to come over to take a drink order. Thank ordered a cocktail and a soft drink for my companion. Soft drink took about 3 minutes. Server returned about 15 min later to ask if my companion wanted a refill-still no sign of my cocktail. I said something and she blames it on the bar - it was not that crowded can’t imagine that was the real problem. She came back 5 minutes later with my cocktail and out food order also arrived. Burger was excellent as were the onion rings. Ordered a Dirty Shirley cocktail - way too sweet for my liking once it finally did show up. Would return for burger and hopefully better drink service. I did note other tables around us seemed to get their drink orders quickly enough - something off with my order for whatever reason.
What a great experience! The food was delicious and each employee that we encountered was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a really cool vibe. I couldn't believe how big the restaurant was! It was intimate enough for a small gathering and I'm sure a great place to have a large gathering. The music was fun and lively too. I am definitely going back! ej
The service was excellent. The food was your average run of the mill quality. You get A LOT of food, but it lacked flavour. The establishment was very clean.
Our server came to the table a total of three times during our entire meal didn’t even stop to see if all of the food was okay. Not all of our food was even delivered because the server forgot to put the order in and didn’t realize it until we said something and at that time we needed to leave to see a show. Very unimpressed by this restaurant. The food was subpar as well especially for the price.
Food and service was great. Would definitely go back again.
This pub, which replaced Chevy’s, welcomed us warmly and the staff was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the drinks were mediocre at best. The rum punch had a funny taste and the dirty martini was not great. These were ‘specialty’ drinks from their menu so they should have been better. The food was fine but no better than you can get elsewhere and everything was ala carte. An $18 burger (with no fries) is not a great deal. The only reason for the 3 stars was the friendliness of the staff. We don’t plan on returning.
It was my mom’s 79th birthday and Tracy & Sully treated her like a queen!!! Kudos to Patrick’s!!
Fun place and a terrific new option in the theater district
This was a great find for pre-theater dinner in the Times Square area. It isn't fine dining but the food is good, the staff very helpful, service is good and it is well priced. Best of all the noise level is manageable! I will be going back here again!
Quick bite before the show,
Good service, great food, very reasonably priced, very attentive staff
A great stop for Theater Row....!
This is a new establishment and everything was perfect. I ordered the shrimp and fries platter and both were very tasty. The service was great as well. I'm sure that as time goes on this will be the new "it" spot in Times Square.
Not my usual choice of restaurants before a show, but it was freezing cold and the theater was just a few doors down, so we ate here. It was actually pretty good and less expensive than what I would normally pay for a meal before going to the theater. It was busy so that says something, service was good and we were seated in a comfortable booth in the back of the restaurant. We had the fish and chips and the salmon, with sweet potato fries. Very good for pub food and would go back again.
Good food, great service. Dessert was not very good however. Not a wide variety and dessert tasted bad.
We had wings & the pretzels. Both were delicious. The server was very attentive. The menu is very limited. It’s good for small appetizers & the burgers looked great.
Excellent food. Salmon and Patrick’s burger were both great. Newly opened however service was very good. I can see the place being great For families and groups of friends. Cool look and fabulous bar area.
Next time I will try the tuna steak sandwich or Rueben.
