Patio Delray Ratings and Reviews
Our experience, food and service could not have been better in any way, shape or form. They respected dietary restrictions and created alternative flavors and combinations that were just as wonderful as the original dishes, for those who needed them. It was an outstanding meal.
We met the owner. Her name is Lilly.
Lilly, we will all be back and bring others with us.
Definitely a lovely evening with the seating outside in comfy rocker chairs providing a unique romantic experience. I'm not a big fan of special menus (Valentines Day) but the food was well-prepared if a little pricey.
I wouldbe interested to see the difference in food and pricing on a regular evening.
love the location - downtown delray is overated but it depends waht you're looking for.
I hate to write a bad review, but I was very disappointed with our meal. I am sorry to say that I won’t be going back there. The food is average. The decor looks like something from my grandmothers back yard, and the service was terrible. Not worth the money at all. The only think good was the shrimp cocktail.
This is our second time at Patio. The food was excellent including the pita bread which is worth the trip alone. The setting is elegant and classy without being stuffy or too familiar. The service is attentive without being intrusive. We were there on a Monday night so it was quiet inside as most people dined outside. It's a nice change from the craziness on Atlantic Ave. It's worth the drive and a great value.
It was my second time dining here, and , unfortunately it was a little bit disappointing compared to our first visit. We ate outside so the noise level was quite good and we had an easy time conversing. While my tuna tartare was excellent the “ seven fishes “ was pretty bland and over cooked. The bread pudding attempt was underwhelming. What was most disappointing was the service. While the staff was pleasant enough their performance gradually grew slower and slower and slower as the meal progressed. Water glasses were never refilled until we asked at dessert, and the wait between main course and dessert was painful. What was a nice touch on our first visit, was the warm pita which was brought to the table while we ordered drinks and water was poured. We did not receive the pita on our second visit until our whole order of food was placed.
There are lots of options in the area, so while because of convenience we might give it another chance, it will probably because our other choices are limited.
We had an amazing dining experience. We had a party of 11 on the patio with some pretty serious foodies in our group. The menu has tradition classics as well as adventurous dishes. I had the shrimp and chicken laska and my waitress brought out a sample of the sauce before I ordered to make sure that I would like it. Everything we tasted was delicious and cooked perfectly. Miss Lily and her staff are the best and the patio is perfect for dining al fresco.
One of my favorites in the area. A great spot to bring friends away from the Avenue. Nice quite ambiance with great attentive service. The patio is great for dining if you want outdoor dining. No hassle parking in private lot. Lots of local regulars who keep coming back. And, of course the food is great.
First impression was not great, the plastic sign over courtyard made us feel like we were at the wrong spot. We sat outside and the lawn furniture is old and dated. It took 5 min for our server to even come say hello and offer us something to drink (and place was empty), menu looked incredibly expensive with few options, then it took another 20 min to receive the appetizer we ordered and on top of it all the other 3 tables we could got a pita dish that wasn’t on menu so we figured it was complimentary but we didn’t get one so by the time we got our cold calamari we were over this place and asked for check. The check came to almost $30!! For calamari and a glass of wine. The cherry on top was that the pita we never got was on the check!!!! Never coming back here. Stay away!
Took my wife for her birthday dinner. Was an amazing experience. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. Have been there before and will be going back soon. The owner always wants to make sure your experience was great...and it was!!!! Thank you for making our night great!
Some of the best food in Palm Beach County
Small but creative menu in a calm non hectic environment The hostess Lilly is a dear and adds to the pleasant ambiance. The grouper special prepared differently each time we went. Each time excellent. All the dishes and apps were creative and delicious. One of my favorites
My husband and I went to Patio Delray for the first time to have a quiet dinner. The staff and the food were out of this world. The staff was courteous, attentive and went out of their way to make a wonderful dining experience for us. Can't say enough about the staff and the food. I will definitely be going back there next time we are in town.
Patio Delray is our go-to dining destination whenever we are in Delray. The ambience is lovely, setting the stage for a dinner that is always both elegant and down to earth. Miss Lily makes us feel like family, the wait staff is always knowledgeable and attentive, and the cuisine is delicious . . . a little bit exotic, a little bit familiar . . . like the restaurant itself, it always strikes the perfect balance. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
Went to Patio Delray for the first time to celebrate my significant other birthday. Can't rave enough about this gem; atmosphere, ambiance, background jazz music, incredible food, attentive service, local ingredients, personal involvement of the owner Lilly made this evening one of the best dining experiences ever. The creative menu and exquisite tastes were amazing. At the end of dinner, Lilly poured a glass of champagne for each of us to end a truly remarkable night. Our server was attentive but not overbearing and very professional. My girlfriends entree, sea bass with lump crab was priced at $39.00 which she devoured and my local shrimp and chicken infused with local jack fruit, book choy, two quail eggs and other veggies served over rice noodles was out of this world. Lilly and her team made our evening a memorable night to remember.
A delightful meal with excellent preparation of quality ingredients. Creative menu nice service. I had a superb sea bass. And my wife had grilled shrimp over bow-ties. Both dishes were excellent. Most portions were large although my sea bass not so much so. Would definitively recommend for an occasion. They have a $18 burger that looked delicious and many people clearly came for that and a drink. Great place for a date or special occasion
