All 8 enjoyed our entrées and I had perhaps the best tuna in my life!
Food had an Asian inspired twist and wasn’t bad but overpriced for what you get. The fried calamari was $14 (which is average) but the appetizer portion was less than half of what you normally would get elsewhere. Served on a long (14”) thin platter about 2-3” wide. Hardly enough for my 2 young daughters. Quiet place and off the beaten path which is nice. Would not go back though. Was not impressed.
A really lovely find. Nice to be in a real restaurant not in a strip mall.
Everything was fine need a little work on the mix drink menu
Lovely meal. Excellent food. My two criticisms........ we sat outside at a table directly in front of the fish tank/pond and we were misted from the water throughout the meal. And secondly, the tables were so close together that when you got up, you rammed into the person behind you. Remove one table for the sake of comfort and mobility. All of the tables in the inside dining room were empty. We would have gladly opted for the inside table for the sake of comfort.
This restaurant is too expensive and snooty
We love Patio! We are regulars and always are made to feel welcome by this family owned business. The prime seating is outside on the patio, of course! The food and service are fantastic, especially the gazpacho, patatas bravas, churrasco and pulpo salad.
So pleasant to be off main drag. What an oasis!
Nice greeting and choice of outside table in quiet section near the fountain. Fast attention by server Sergio who was new but sincere. Nice BR Cohn cab and complimentary Pita to start along with extra nice Shishito Peppers. Shared iceberg wedge. Both wife and I had Chilian Sea Bass entrée. Value Rated fair because $44 seems excessive for Chilian Sea Bass entrée.
Food was excellent and served attractively. The woman who waited on us was very attentive but not to the point where she interrupted us. They even served us champagne gratis because someone was celebrating. It is fairly expensive but portions were generous. Well worth the visit!!
We found this local treasure in a quick search for an open table and really loved it!
Best kept secret in Delray. I will definitely be telling my neighbors and friends about The Patio!
Our experience, food and service could not have been better in any way, shape or form. They respected dietary restrictions and created alternative flavors and combinations that were just as wonderful as the original dishes, for those who needed them. It was an outstanding meal.
We met the owner. Her name is Lilly.
Lilly, we will all be back and bring others with us.
Liked the design of the restaurant. Overall was fair, expensive and service needed help. Seafood menu with only 1 fish on the menu and that was mostly all shellfish. Drinks were average. Meal overpriced. 50+ entrees.
We enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day celebration. The menu was outstanding and the meals we ordered were delicious. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
Definitely a lovely evening with the seating outside in comfy rocker chairs providing a unique romantic experience. I'm not a big fan of special menus (Valentines Day) but the food was well-prepared if a little pricey.
I wouldbe interested to see the difference in food and pricing on a regular evening.
love the location - downtown delray is overated but it depends waht you're looking for.
Very nice experience sitting outside next to the fish tank with very pleasant evening.
I hate to write a bad review, but I was very disappointed with our meal. I am sorry to say that I won’t be going back there. The food is average. The decor looks like something from my grandmothers back yard, and the service was terrible. Not worth the money at all. The only think good was the shrimp cocktail.
This is our second time at Patio. The food was excellent including the pita bread which is worth the trip alone. The setting is elegant and classy without being stuffy or too familiar. The service is attentive without being intrusive. We were there on a Monday night so it was quiet inside as most people dined outside. It's a nice change from the craziness on Atlantic Ave. It's worth the drive and a great value.
Wonderful spot. The only note that it's Abit pricey But food was very good
It was my second time dining here, and , unfortunately it was a little bit disappointing compared to our first visit. We ate outside so the noise level was quite good and we had an easy time conversing. While my tuna tartare was excellent the “ seven fishes “ was pretty bland and over cooked. The bread pudding attempt was underwhelming. What was most disappointing was the service. While the staff was pleasant enough their performance gradually grew slower and slower and slower as the meal progressed. Water glasses were never refilled until we asked at dessert, and the wait between main course and dessert was painful. What was a nice touch on our first visit, was the warm pita which was brought to the table while we ordered drinks and water was poured. We did not receive the pita on our second visit until our whole order of food was placed.
There are lots of options in the area, so while because of convenience we might give it another chance, it will probably because our other choices are limited.
A little expensive for everyday dining but most enjoyable. Two out of three of us loved our meals. The third found it a little too salty. I loved the out of door patio dining and would recommend it to others.
We had an amazing dining experience. We had a party of 11 on the patio with some pretty serious foodies in our group. The menu has tradition classics as well as adventurous dishes. I had the shrimp and chicken laska and my waitress brought out a sample of the sauce before I ordered to make sure that I would like it. Everything we tasted was delicious and cooked perfectly. Miss Lily and her staff are the best and the patio is perfect for dining al fresco.
Always good; food, ambience and service in lovely garden setting
Food is very esoteric not a lot of plain entrees
service extremely slow, food arrived luke warm though 2 out of 5 dinners were quite good. nice for outdoor dining, but very expensive though showing only $!
A favorite for us. Like different foods but “Spicey” seems to be the new norm and I’d rather taste the good food then burn my mouth for days. So I have to eat the not so exotic items. But that’s ok.
One of my favorites in the area. A great spot to bring friends away from the Avenue. Nice quite ambiance with great attentive service. The patio is great for dining if you want outdoor dining. No hassle parking in private lot. Lots of local regulars who keep coming back. And, of course the food is great.
Met out of town friends here. Everyone was impressed with food, service, comfort, and experience.
Always a pleasure to dine at Patio Delray. Topnotch in every category!
Food very good. No salad or soup provided with $42 entree. I felt it was over priced.
First impression was not great, the plastic sign over courtyard made us feel like we were at the wrong spot. We sat outside and the lawn furniture is old and dated. It took 5 min for our server to even come say hello and offer us something to drink (and place was empty), menu looked incredibly expensive with few options, then it took another 20 min to receive the appetizer we ordered and on top of it all the other 3 tables we could got a pita dish that wasn’t on menu so we figured it was complimentary but we didn’t get one so by the time we got our cold calamari we were over this place and asked for check. The check came to almost $30!! For calamari and a glass of wine. The cherry on top was that the pita we never got was on the check!!!! Never coming back here. Stay away!
Great food location suffers from lack of traffic but service is impeccable and food was delicious
Took my wife for her birthday dinner. Was an amazing experience. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. Have been there before and will be going back soon. The owner always wants to make sure your experience was great...and it was!!!! Thank you for making our night great!
Some of the best food in Palm Beach County
Small but creative menu in a calm non hectic environment The hostess Lilly is a dear and adds to the pleasant ambiance. The grouper special prepared differently each time we went. Each time excellent. All the dishes and apps were creative and delicious. One of my favorites
Great food-We enjoy the server, the atmosphere and especially the wonderful food-
The presentation and freshness was delightful
My husband and I went to Patio Delray for the first time to have a quiet dinner. The staff and the food were out of this world. The staff was courteous, attentive and went out of their way to make a wonderful dining experience for us. Can't say enough about the staff and the food. I will definitely be going back there next time we are in town.
Service was A++++. All staff were backing each other. Owner exercising QC quite often.
Food was amazing! Will certainly go back
Fun, casual place off the beaten path in Delray Beach... perfect for my Da's 81st bday party
