   Truly outstanding. We hope to return for their Fireside events in the Winter. Food and staff welcoming and suggestions helped make the meal and evening memorable.

   Westcott is our favourite winery in the Niagara region. The unique simplicity and rustic ambiance is a never ending welcome. If you stay to enjoy dinner, you will never be disappointed.    Fabulous food! Really enjoyed the deviled eggs, edamame guacamole, chicken sandwich and veg pizza! Raw oysters served on cold rocks were creative and delicious! Wine pairings were perfect as well. Despite the rain, we were cozy in the blankets and dry and happy.

   The ambiance is very good, with a view of the vineyard. Of course, there are many restaurants with similar or better ambiance so it was not an outstanding ambiance. The food options were few, and the food was average. I had the hamburger, which was a regular hamburger. There was nothing special about it and had minimum condiments. The hamburger did not come with a side, and I ordered a side of 'fries', which was potato wedges covered with feta cheese (which I love), a bit of salsa and lots of garlic (too much I would say). Wine is mediocre. We had just stopped for wine tasting elsewhere, and the wine at Westcott was water compared to the wine we had just tasted. There was noise that I suspected there is a shooting range close to it, but it may have been an event of sort nearby so I am not sure if the noise level is high all the time. We didn't mind the noise though. The waitress was kind. I don't think I will go back.

   Hi TOGUY, Thank you for your feedback. Given that our restaurant overlooks our vineyard, we consider the ambiance pretty unique. As for the burger, we use a house made cheese whiz and Mac sauce aioli as condiments. Perhaps you had requested these be removed? Additionally, we and many of the surrounding wineries use machines called bird bangers which emit a loud noise to scare away the birds from eating our crop. We do this to maintain the quality of our internationally award-winning wines.

   We were expecting a more comfy place without the noise of gunshots and better menu option. Wine was really expensive as I think we get only one ounce in a glass for $14.

   Hi Zaita, We are sorry to hear that your experience was not up to expectations. We and many of the surrounding wineries use machines called bird bangers which emit a loud noise to scare away the birds from eating the crop. This, while a bit loud, is a precaution so that we can maintain the quality of our wine. Also, we are not sure how you were charged $14 for 1 ounce our as we use a 6 ounce pour. $14 is our most expensive glass of wine and we feel that this is a good value for the price.

    Amazing setting in the vineyards of Niagara. Limited food menu. Hawaiian pizza with peaches was delicious. Waitress was not very friendly.
