Our waiter was great and so was the food. Great selections and ambiance. Draft beer would have been nice, but not the end of the world.
My first time there. Excellent service, food and staff.
Great experience! Great food!
We've eaten at Patio 44 several times previously, so we confidently made reservations for our daughter's 14th birthday dinner. We had a group of 12, 4 adults and 8 young ladies. Our server was absolutely the best, and without her positive attitude, attention to our table, respectful and pleasant nature, I would have been truly upset. Our crew filled our table completely, and she was right there constantly for anything we needed. The wait for our food from the kitchen, however, was ridiculous even for a busy Saturday night. Our guests were served at different times, and one young guest waited an extra 15-20 minutes before her food arrived while everyone else had their plates (she ordered the same meal, chicken and waffles, that the 1st person served had ordered). We waited over an hour for our entrees; I was so glad we had bread (3 small baskets for 12 people), 2 small plates of appetizers, and a few of us ordered salads. At 11 a.m. that morning, I also made arrangements for our guests to be served slices of red velvet cake that was the weekend special in lieu of me bringing in a cake from elsewhere. By the time our guests were 1/2 done with their main courses, and I gave our server the go-ahead to get the cake slices, she returned from the kitchen to apologetically inform me that they ran out of cake an hour ago. I was very disappointed, and we opted to pick up a ready made cake on our way home rather than order other desserts from the menu. As it was, our meal was $350. I was very disappointed as well in the quality of my and my husband's steaks. The meat quality just wasn't as fresh as what we've tasted at other restaurants, and my $38 filet was butterflied and way overcooked. I won't take another large group to Patio 44 on a Saturday night.
My fiancee daughter an i decided to eat here for dinner.. everything was great. Just be sure to inquire on the serving size of your meal and what sides you'll get. My daughter ordered enough food for all 3 of us to where I ordered a piece of fish on a bed of spinach:) still the food was great
Great service with a full drink menu and delicious food. It was a bit on the pricey side for us, but a really nice spot for our anniversary dinner. We both had steak with mashed potatoes and ate every bite! It was very crowded the night we went due to Valentine’s weekend and southern miss baseball, but we still received plenty of attention.
Was not impressed with the food. Didn’t have a lot of seasoning to food.
First time going and will not go back, the food was very nice other then having a large shred of plastic prep glove in my mashed potato. Alerted the waitress and she had a manager come over and speak and was apologizing that it happened but blamed it on a Storage bag ripping, sorry not buying it.. having being in the restaurant business and supplying I know the consistency of a prep glove. my wife was unable to finish her food due to the incident. When it was time for the check there wasn’t any discount I place wasn’t asking for free meal but pretty much ruined the night especially when we don’t get out much
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and meal at Patio 44. A nice hidden gem in Hattiesburg. Too cold for the patio on our night, but they have a great outdoor area for pretty spring and summer evenings.
Online it said they were open until 11. I made a reservation for 9:45. We got there, and the bartender said they were closing up. So we went to Keg and Barrel and had a great meal. I would recommendKeg and Barrel.
Overall, everyone liked their food. One plate had to sent back because the steak wasn't cooked correctly. I had a fish plate and the fries were cold. The waitress couldn't answer anyone's questions without asking someone else. I would give the restaurant another try.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service!!
Took my wife for a date due to me being gone on holidays. They got the roses and put a cloth on the table. It made my wife's night a memorable night to say the least. The going above and beyond to make the night perfect for her has earned my business. For all my special moments the Patio is the way to go.
Good was great and waitress was awesome.
Very good food and excellent service. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Pros: Great bar and night life. Really nice patio with plenty of outdoor seating.
Cons: No beer on draft. Food was average. I had the flank steak (medium) and it arrived well done. (in fairness, there was a huge wedding party (~40 people) dining at the same time as us so I am sure the kitchen was in the weeds).
Although chilly, a very enjoyable dining experience. Food and ambiance excellent!
Nice brunch with family. Wide variety of breakfast/brunch choices as well as usual fare so everyone could be happy with choices.
First visit. Enjoyed the food and service was exceptional. We’ll be back.
Service was friendly but confused about what we ordered. Had to send things back and remind the staff to bring what we ordered.
One of the better meals in Hattiesburg. Nice ambience.
We love Patio 44 in Hattiesburg and Biloxi. We love the food and the ambience.
The overall night was great but the food was a little bland no season on the seafood didn't like the batter on the food.
Great service from DeLovett (sp). Overall solid option near USM
Great all around restaurant in Hattiesburg with great staff!
Excellent food and service. Lights in bar needed to be dimmed for better ambience.
Great food, service, and overall experience. Our group of 10 had attentive, quick service. The food was WONDERFUL!
We had an outstanding meal served with speed as we had an event to attend after dinner. There were eight in our party and the service and food were excellent. An attentive wait staff took very good care of us and I had one of the best Maker's Mark Old Fashioneds that I have ever tasted. We certainly will return.
Friend had the seafood platter and described everything as "fishy and disgusting," and I had the maple pecan chicken which was also not very good. The highlight of the meal was the debris fries.
Poor service, horrible ambiance, low value. This restaurant was incredibly noisy, was full of people who had to much to drink with little to no effort on the part of the staff to keep them under control. Definitely not a fine dining experience. On top of that, the waitress completely missed our wine order and seemed clueless. Would definitely not recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing dining experience.
Great food. Super atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive. We will dine here again in the near future.
This particular occasion we went for mother's day brunch. It was fantastic. good food. good service. We have also been to Patio 44 for lunch and dinner and have never really had a bad experience. Their happy hour is at a great price and offers some variety. It's a great place to dine.
Great service and good food made for a fun evening.
I love this restaurant. No matter what I order it is always prepared just like it should be. From fresh fish to fried chicken its just tasty. Best chicken and waffles around. Stop by and see for yourself and if you like try their Sunday brunch.
Birthday Dinner . We ate inside where it was quieter… Great time
I really enjoyed my time at Patio 44. The food was amazing and they make sure you are well taken care of. The outdoor atmosphere was amazing! Also, if you're a sports junky like myself, you will enjoy their open bar with flat screen TVs above.
Great food and enjoyed the very large covered patio with a cool evening breeze coming through.
Wine I ordered was on menu but not available. Server was slow to bring drinks and notify that wine was not in stock. She did allow me to taste another wine to see if I would like a glass. Didn't care for the way the seafood was breaded, and the platter of seafood had more bread, cornbread (which was tasty) and fries and was lacking in fried crawfish. I would think for the price of the seafood platter, cole slaw or a vegetable or salad could have been included.
Entrees were spot on.
Featured dessert was better previous time I had it but still good.
I had my 20th birthday dinner at Patio 44, and I must say it was faboulous! The manager was very helpful and very plaeasing! She made sure I had the BEST birthday dinner! The food was very tasteful, and the atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable!
