Patio 44- Biloxi
We came to Patio 44 for my birthday and we were not disappointed. It was very quick service, really good service (I believe our waitress name was Amber), and great food. Get yourself an old fashioned! The debris fires. You won’t regret it. Also, the white chocolate bread pudding.
Danielle was great!
Very nice restaurant four of us dined there last Friday night, I had the Blackened Redfish on the half shell, which means the skin is still on one side, it was awesome
Patio 44 was a pleasant surprise. We went on a Thursday and had no wait at all. Service was terrific. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return.
Great atmosphere. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.
Food was delicious!! Great, friendly service. I will definitely go back.
We typically LOVE Patio 44. It’s our place, first date was here and now we come for any special occasion. The menu has changed a bit since the last time we visited, seems like prices have increased some. I used to order fried fish and grits with Cajun cream sauce for under $14. It was a great deal but Saturday night it was $18, I believe. Previously, the batter on the fish was light and the cream sauce complimented it very well. Saturday night, the batter was so thick that it absorbed all of the sauce on one piece of fish. There was none on the plate and the second piece of fish had no sauce at all. It’s a sauce with andouille sausage, there was one tiny piece on my plate. I tried it even though I was disappointed with the presentation. The grits were hard, very undercooked and not creamy at all. There was none of the cream sauce anywhere near my grits. The best part was that I asked our amazingly kind waiter for extra sauce since they didn’t give me much to begin with. He returns from the kitchen with a tiny ketchup cup full and says that they told him this was it. If I wanted extra sauce, I’d have to pay for more. WHAT?!! I didn’t want extra, I just wanted the correct portion. How is it Cajun cream COVERED catfish and grits if there’s no sauce?? Obviously, the waiter was baffled by this as well. He was just doing his job and relaying the message. There must have been some other kitchen issues Friday night as well. The couple beside us sent their food back, the ordered the fish with the Cajun cream sauce as well. Soooo disappointing Patio 44. I celebrated my 30th birthday with y’all, met my now fiancé at your restaurant and planned on celebrating many more firsts here as well. Don’t see this happening if all you are concerned with is making a profit instead of happy customers. Unhappy customers don’t come back and then they tell everyone they know about their horrible experience. Don’t know if we will be back.
Meet friends driving over from LA. We drove over from AL. It had been a while since we had seen each other.
I truly enjoyed this restaurant and the service was great. My only issue is the serving portion was small. But I did enjoy the restaurant and food.
The food was simply outstanding. The gumbo was excellent and the bread pudding was out of this world. Our waitress could not have been better. Stopped for a weekend and planning a trip back to Biloxi simply due to our fabulous meal at 44. Will definitely be back.
Food delicious and fresh. Service was great. Danielle was very helpful.
It was a little loud for conversation. Loved the food, atmosphere and our service was excellent
Great food and service.
Whenever we are in the area we stop by at Patio 44. Their food and drinks are outstanding. The service couldn't be any better - very personal and helpful.
My wife’s steak was over cooked and the crawfish on my order were not very tasty.
Great food and service
The food wasn’t good, the waitress was rude. We had a cake and she brought spoons. We selected your restaurant based on past experience but I can’t say I’ll be back.
We really enjoyed the experience. The patio was very nice.
Very nice place. We had lunch and it was fabulous. Try the fish tacos. Yummy
The food was delicious. What I really liked was the ability to alter the menu a little, like broiled instead of fried, etc. Very accommodating and waitress was very knowledgeable. Her suggestions were spot on.
I really had a great time at Patio 44,but the only thing that I did not enjoy was the noise level of the people sitting next to me.
The food was good but nothing outstanding. I expected Cheesecake or Ruth Chris portions for the price. The salad was terrible. $10 for a plate of lettuce, pecans and orange slices. I only asked for no onions and think I was penalized in what I received. I'd only come back if I wasn't paying.
Great atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food was delicious.
Food, service and friendliest of the staff was outstanding. Bartender greeted us upon entering and not only made great drinks but also answered any questions about the menu. Made recommendations and comparisons about menu items that we asked about. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
I’ve eaten there 4 times and had 4 different things. Never had a bad meal, bad service, bad drink or anything other than the absolute best restaurant experience. I easily put it in the top 3 on the MS Gulf Coast.
The service was great. The food was great. It did however take an hour to get our food from the time we sat down. I understand it was a busy Saturday night but that seemed a bit excessive.
Friendly staff and excellent food! Our waitress was very polite. The food was amazing. I definitely recommend the debris fries!
We went for the crab cake sandwich. It was not as good as we had in the past. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. The steak came with a salad and mashed potatoes. It would be nice if another side was included with the entree. Probably won't be returning.
Everything was as expected. Seated quickly, our server was not only knowledgeable but very pleasant and helpful answering all our questions. Food and service were impeccable and made this a very enjoyable time.
Overall, it was good. Server was new and unfamiliar with the menu, but she really tried hard. Salad was disappointing. Entre was good. Dessert was excellent.
Great visit, first time and will return! The manager Lisa was welcoming and friendly, our server Reagan (I believe) was wonderful. Great suggestions on our dinner appetizer field peas w/ okra over cornbread was awesome! Everything we had last night was great
Food was delicious and service was great. The only issue was is that it was very loud and I was told patio 44 was a very classy restaurant. But I could barely talk to my SO because of the noise level.
Fantastic food, staff and service! Thank you!
Food was excellent and we adored our server! Definitely make a plan to eat here-you will not be disappointed.
Everything was great, service was excellent. Aaron was an excellent server. Great first time experience.
Red beans and rice were DELISH! Wish we had been asked about sitting outside but interior is nice - kind of business looking - needs some good art on the walls!!! Service was great and did I say red beans and rice were delish???
Food was good. Had a problem with one dish management handled it nicely. Will always go back
My boyfriend and I chose this spot for a belated Valentines Day dinner and I'm so thrilled that we did! We sat at the bar and were immediately acknowledged by a bartender who got us started with waters. We started the meal with a bottle of yummy champagne and did not feel like we were being rushed to order. The bartender made great food suggestions.
We started with the blue crab fondue, which was delightful but more of a standard cream cheese dip than an oozy fondue. Our bartender also recommended the redfish, which was by far my favorite part of the meal. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the cajun cream sauce was decadent but not overwhelming and the crawfish bits were nice and tender. The gouda grits tasted good but were not very warm. I got the impression the plate was set up long before the star of the dish (the fish) was plated. Although it tasted great, it was a little hard to get around the weird plating. The meal itself only took up a little less than half of the huge, damaged, oblong plate.
We also got the fried chicken and waffles, which was fabulous. I would have preferred a little more seasoning (salt) on the chicken to offset the sweetness of the syrup, but that could just be my preference.
The bar was nice and big so we felt like we had privacy and a spot to have a (semi) private conversation. The ambiance was cohesive and comfortable. Our bartender was very friendly and talkative. As the evening went on it was a little more difficult to get his attention, but that's to be expected on a Friday night. I definitely recommend checking out this spot if you're in the mood for some good food and good drinks in a cozy bar setting.
The food was very good and the service was fast even for them being extremely busy on Valentine’s Day. The only thing that made The mood a little off was a large group trying to tell the waitress that she had rang up to many of the same – and wanted to act like they didn’t order that food so they wouldn’t have to pay. That’s not the restaurants Fault though. Overall it was a very nice experience very very good food and very good service
