The entire experience was subpar. From the moment we were greeted, it was a cold exchange with a hostess who just seemed bothered that only a majority of our party was there. The server was fine and did the best that she could with what she was dealt. The food was not worth the price tag, however. Our main entrees took over 40 minutes to come to the table and our steaks were overcooked and already sliced for us, which is a huge no-no. You could get better steaks (and a better seasoned one) from the grocery store and not pay $60 for an overcooked ribeye. The risotto we ordered was cold, likely since it was sitting in the pass for so long waiting for whoever was "(over)cooking" the steaks. Lastly, the carrots we ordered as a side were completely flavorless and were not impressive at all. This was a big waste of a celebratory meal and we actually left more disappointed than we could have imagined. Cross the street and go anywhere else in Downtown Buffalo.

We ordered a tomahawk steak that you have advertised on the website menu for $65.00 for two ! NOT 65.00 EACH PERSON! Very deceiving!! Then we both enjoy our meat medium rare and it was MEDIUM WELL ( after an attempt to make another one and correct the error it took over 20 minutes ) then we were served a piece of dessert/cake that neither of us ordered and then charged for it??

Three of us had Sunday brunch at Patina. We were seated at a booth, which was quite comfortable and quiet. Our server came by promptly and took our order, but she forgot to ask whether we wanted drinks. The food selections were good, and we all enjoyed the frittata and the salmon Benedict. Our water glasses were refilled as needed, and the server remembered that none of us wanted ice. The only problem was that the portions were so large that we couldn't finish them, let alone get any desserts. Maybe we should have just gone with a selection of appetizers. I did notice other patrons leaving with bags of leftovers, so we weren't the only folks who seemed to find the portion sizes too big.

We have eaten at Patina before and it’s always been good …. But for my daughters birthday we enjoyed a family dinner and we were blown away ! The service was amazing (Thanks John !), food top notch , atmosphere and honestly … for the amount of people we had and the amount of food we ordered -it was very reasonable ! Thanks and keep up the great work !

Party of 4; two adults+two teens for a friday dinner. The place is well designed and the open kichen is a wonderful idea. We started with a special fucacha that was amazing and a burata saled. Salmon and tomahawk steak were delicious; nothing was left. Our waitress was very welcoming and explained the menu very clearly. Thanks for a great everything!

The waitress was wonderful the food was great as always the ambiance was spectacular but the hostess was awful, she refused to seat my party at its scheduled table due to one person being in the parking ramp having trouble finding parking, we in turn were forced to sit at the most undesirable table in the entire restaurant due to multiple smaller parties taking the other tables while we watched . We would have liked to sit and begin our meal and order a bottle of champagne with the 3 of us as it was a birthday we were celebrating but instead were told we couldn’t sit at a 4 top table until the entire party arrived which makes absolutely no sense given it doesn’t under utilize the amount of space or take away an available table . She was extremely short and sat us in the back of the restaurant when we repeatedly asked not to be sat in the back of the restaurant. We felt like she was segregating us away from the other diners out of spite for standing up for ourselves . I am a regular patron of this establishment and have had multiple run ins with this hostess and she is always very rude. It completely ruined the atmosphere for the birthday celebration as my entire party felt uncomfortable and insulted.

I was expecting way more regarding food quality for the price and place. Octopus was bland, cauliflower was good,pasta not al dente, sauce bland. Coctails barely with some alcohol...service was excellent and place is nice...so mid of the pack.

Patina 250 is a great vibe for an elegant dinner out. The Lobster Risotto and the Salmon were both excellent. The spicy margs were delicious. The birthday dessert was immaculate! Highly recommend!

We went for my fiancee's birthday and the staff went above and beyond making it a special night for her. A note greeted us saying happy birthday and a complementary dessert after dinner. Food was awesome and service was perfect.

The octopus had a slight fish taste and the filet mignon was chewy as I explained after it was recommended that it needed to be a butcher cut meat for 54.00 it was returned and mediocre plate of pasta. Very disappointed

Don’t get the Ribeye. It was definitely poor quality and served pre sliced and cold at that. Not what you’d expect for a $60 steak at a top restaurant. They need to do better than that.

So I made a reservation for a business lunch and not only was the atmosphere welcoming but the staff was inviting curtious and provided great service. All of the food was delicious and the setting is urban but sheek with elegance all around....I recommend it for any reason to get together...I impressed my boss with the place and now we will have all of our meetings here... Drove from Toronto, Canada to spend the day with parents for their 49th wedding anniversary, I took a chance and booked Patina and it didn't disappoint. What an amazing experience, right from the start, they greeted us with a glass of bubbly and had the sweetest hand written card for my parents. The ambiance, service and food was hands down one of my best foodie/dining experiences. We will be back very soon.

Place and service was v good. My only complaint was that we ordered the salad with a grilled salmon add on for an extra $18. The total came to $33. My concern was that a table of 3 business men ordered a cheaper dish of salmon and salad and sushi rice and they all got centre cut salmon while we both got the tail end.

Perfect evening for our 1st anniversary! We got married at the Westin, so the food was provided by Patina and it was as perfect on our anniversary as it was our wedding day! My husband and I no longer drink and they treated for our mocktails and made us feel really special on our big day.

This was our first time dinning at Patina 250. We enjoyed everything about our experience. The staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful. The menu has a good variety of choices. We had a Caesar salad and the Spanish Octopus appetizer, followed by Lobster Risotto and Bransino entrees. Everything tasted great and the presentation for each dish was very good. Serving sizes were generous. We will definitely return , possibly before going to a theater event at Shea’s, Irish Classical or RLT.

We usually have a good experience when we come here, but this time the food was not up to point. Very salty, dishes were not brought out at the same time and we ended up getting it main course late, but it was comped so we have no problem with that. The lobster risotto seemed skimpy with the quality of the lobster, and the quantity of how much was in the risotto.
