Outstanding lunch with two business associates. New poke bowls we're fantastic, and service was superior. Great quiet setting, perfect for a lunch meeting.
Had brunch with a good friend on Sunday. We really enjoyed our time. Brunch was delicious. The crab cucumber salad was amazingly fresh. I will be ordering take out soon!! I had eggs Benedict - it was the best I ever had. Truly. Perfect balance of flavors and melted in my mouth. Our server Nick was the best. Even though you were busy he made us feel like we were the only table. A bit pricey but worth the treat!!
We’ve been here for brunch and dinner. The service was amazing but this last time was horrible. We opted for the breakfast buffet and with only 4 hot items on it you would think they’d all be ready and would remain full but this was not the case. We were constantly waiting for food. We had to ask to have our dirty plates removed, we were not offered juice or drink refills. We raved about the food and service and recommended Patina 250 for brunch with another couple. We now regret that decision.
We visited Patina on Sunday morning for brunch and other than the scrambled eggs being a bit too cold, everything was perfect!
The coffee was fresh and fill ups were continuous. Though not terribly innovative, the buffet had good food for a reasonable price.
The staff is remarkably friendly and very good service. Jacinta, the hostess was especially helpful and made sure our experience was perfect.
I have enjoyed Patina for lunch and dinner and never been disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful and it tends to be quiet.
I loved this place! Came with my friends for my birthday dinner. Food was great, and waiters were so polite!
We were welcomed like old friends from the minute we arrived. Our server was very efficient (although she was very soft spoken) and took very good care of us. The menu was easy to read and we had no questions about any of the entrees. We had the crab cake and I thought one crab cake for $21.00 was a bit pricy, but my husband and I shared it and it was enough. The lamb was excellent and the dessert was delicious. We had a bottle of Melbec (one of my favorites). We will definitely be back again and again.
The dinners we had were excellent. Service by hostesses, waiter (John) and servers was outstanding. We will certainly return here again.
Overall outstanding, entree excellent, desert a bit underwhelming, service top notch
Awesome place with great vibe and of course awesome food
A great place for brunch- highly recommend- food was to die for and all you can drink mimosas was a plus
Patina 250 service was excellent. The food was good value for the money. We had the a beet/kale salad, which was really well done, squash ravioli which were very tasty, and the sea bass, which was ok (I was expecting a thick piece, but it was very thin). We had the apple crumble for dessert, which was a good ending.
A group of us met for dinner prior to a show at Shea’s and we were very pleased. The food was phenomenal- I would highly recommend the salmon and the ribs! The environment and ambiance was 5 stars. Very clean, decorated beautifully, friendly staff, and quiet enough to enjoy a nice conversation without having to yell and/or feel like you needed to whisper. Highly recommend!!
Food was wonderful, service even better, free valet parking was great and convenient for dinner and then walking to our show at Shea’s.
Wanted to like this place. Came in for 5:00 reservation. Not busy at all and owner (Jacobs) we’re dining also. Very nice accommodations. Ordered drinks. Mixed drink came in less than 5 minutes, Prosecco came 15-20 minutes later after repeatedly asking server. Bread was delicious. Ordered porterhouse steak for two, Brussels sprouts and baked potato. Food came and was placed in the middle of the table. Our served asked us if we would like plates to put our food on. Is that really an option? They did bring plates. Steak was so over salted that my wife (that was celebrating her birthday) couldn’t eat it. The Brussel sprouts were also over salted. So my wife ate a baked potato and bread for her birthday. I did eat the steak and regretted it. We would have sent the food back but had tickets to the Jerry Seinfeld show. The general manager bought our drinks and offered to buy us drinks if we would return. They did bring my wife a very nice piece of chocolate cake with a sparkler for her birthday. My mouth was parched from the overly salted food the entire show. Not what I was expecting. And I don’t complain about hardly anything. The general manager really tried to satisfy us following a miserable experience but there are simply too many good restaurants to go back after an experience like this.
I took my visiting cousins there for lunch. I was comfortable doing this; because, Patina 250 is consistently a "feel good experience" (i.e., good food, relaxed, comfortable, A+ ambience & excellent service). My guests enjoyed it so much, that they took 2 guests of their own back for dinner the next day!
The food was top notch. Our server made excellent recommendations and we were not disappointed! The key lime pie was fantastic.
We really want to like this place. Attractive and has parking. Unfortunately, after 3 visits we have yet to get a good meal. Done trying.
Breakfast dishes were creative mixes of familiar comfort foods. Service was exemplary; professional yet friendly staff rounded out the experience
Fantastic dinner, fabulous tasting steaks all perfectly cooked, with beautifully prepared sides. Well timed service with attention to detail.
Not impressed at all. Will not be going back.
Matt and Nick were awesome!! Please always have a vegan or vegetarian option. The lentil curry was amazing! Would be nice as a main dish!!
Offers a creative menu that was well executed at a reasonable price in a pleasant setting. The wine list modest in size in a modern way, but could easily offer more international variety than is currently available. An easy fix in the right hands.
Patina 250 has one of the best brunches in Buffalo for the value. You get 2 courses and bottomless mimosas for $49. The food is wonderful and fresh, the service is always on point, and the ambiance is great. It’s a great place to meet the girls for brunch. I’ve had dinner there once as well and it was equally delicious.
Excellent date night. Great food and service. Very upscale and great ambiance.
Service was outstanding. Marco was one of the best waiters we have encountered. Varied menu with out of the ordinary cuisine. Definitely will return.
Great place for brunch
We loved it!
very good food, bar area workers seem a little lost though
Dinner was great. Service was outstanding.
Food and service were great for dinner bar after dinner service was not good very very slow and it wasn't even that busy and it took a while for them to even greet us and there were three or four people behind the bar two of them just cleaning glasses and they couldn't even greet us and say someone will be right with you.
Between the 5 of us, we had a decent amount of the menu. Appetizers: ribs-tender and fall off the bone, crab cakes-sweet and flavorful, octopus- so different that what you usually see on a menu- great flavor, buffalo cauliflower- crispy and delicious, poke bowl- our favorite! Fresh and just the right amount of heat. Entrees: enjoyed the seabass, the lamb osso buco, the squid ink pasta special and the ravioli. It was a birthday and we enjoyed the chocolate cake. So decadent! We will be back! Our waiter Nick was very personable and the managers Peter, Angela and Brian were all friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Celebrating our annual holiday dinner out with our immediate family. Great for my mom (78) and our four children (8 - 17 years old) Exceptional service - kids loved the fries and cheeseburger, adults enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli, Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. Special squid ink pasta with calamari, scallops crab and other seafood with lobster sauce was one of my favorite dishes in 2018.
I don’t think our server said more than 5 sentences to us. He never officially greeted us after getting settled at our table. We were handed the menus and a minute later he came back to take our order… he didn’t check our drinks, he didn’t ask us if we had time to look over the menu or if we were ready to order at all. So we ordered our meals. We noticed that tables all around us had baskets of bread but we were never brought any. Our salads came out and still no bread. Half way through our salads, the bread basket arrived without a word from our server. And even though our bread plates were accompanied by cute little butter knives, there was no butter. Our entrees came out and still not a word from our server. Not “enjoy your meal” - not “is there anything more I can bring you”… nothing! He never came back to our table to see how everything was tasting or to get a refill on anyone’s drink. Every now and then he would come by to take an empty dish and then walk away. When we were done with our dinner and all the plates were cleared it seemed like an eternity before he came to ask if we were interested in dessert. When picking up the check he never once said thank you or enjoy the rest of your night or Merry Christmas. It was quite odd and very off putting.
The food was just ok- not a lot of taste. My fish had bones in it. Some of the salads were a bit over dressed and some didn’t have much dressing at all. The best thing we had was the crispy cauliflower. The bread was good too… even without the better. Won’t be going back to Patina anytime soon.
We were looking for a nicer restaurant to visit for Christmas Eve and dinner and we were not disappointed. We were a bit of a pain with a slight push back in time and we added a a guest and they were extremely accommodating. We also had a 19 month old with us. Now she is very good in restaurants but she is still a little girl and so they were very accommodating. They had a kids menu and crayons it was great. The ambiance was really nice not to loud and although it is attached to a hotel it was very much not a hotel restaurant. The decor was very contemporary and open. Our waiter Franklin was super personable and very knowledgeable. The food was all delicious and we will definitely be going again!
Service was excellent as was the food...best part is the atmosphere! Love it!
I visited Patina250 for my birthday 12/24. My third visit. Very pleased with my dining experience. My mother is extremely finicky, however, was pleased with her meal. Portion sizes increased since my last visit. Thank you! We will return
The dinner service and food were good however bar service was very slow. There was only 1 bartender for a full bar, restaurant and he was also waiting on bar tables so took a while to get bar service. He was very nice and apologetic and not his fault they were under staffed for the night.
