Patiala Indian Grill
This place has a great service and awesome food. The downside was that It is a bit small of a location and if you dont have a reservation expect to stand outside until a table clears. I felt a bit rushed towards the end of my meal because they had another party waiting for a table. But they were every nice and friendly.
Fabulous Indian restaurant. Yummy food and they opened up our wine for us and provided glasses too. Will definitely be back here when we come back to NY again.
Food and service was fabulous. Seating and temperature control was not good. Each time the door was opened a gust of cold air blew in.
Yes, I would recommend them to a friend, as a matter of fact I already have. The food was GREAT and the SERVICE MATCHED THE FOOD. The only thing I would say if it was a complaint is that it's a little small for seating, but once the food comes, you forget all about the space.
Simply Amazing. All the Dishes were exceptionally prepared! We had tikka and Lamb Madras, absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend.
Great food, great people. Try masalas :) and garlic bread and deserts
Excellent and authentic Indian food. Friendly, courteous, prompt, efficient, and gracious service. Highly recommended!
My sister and I just happened to go on a night when there was a large group talking loudly in a small space, but the food was delicious and made the visit totally worth our time. I would absolutely eat here again!
Cozy little gem. The staff were wonderful, and made dining a pleasure. They were particularly gracious with my two-year-old. Highly recommended.
Excellent food- great service. I eat a lot of Indian food, and this was as good as it gets! It is a small place, so try to eat early!
Good place . Great naan. Ordered lamb rogan josh. Was expecting it to be more flavorful and thicker and more authentic . Guess it’s watered down for American tastes . Naan was good tho .
Expected it to be bigger too
Food is amazing !
You should definitely try Lamb chops:D
Very high quality Indian cuisine at this midtown shoebox sized restaurant. No liquor license so it's BYOB. I suggest bringing your own wine glasses (byob&g) as most of the dishes pair perfectly with German Rieslings, and the lamb dishes work well with a red Bordeaux.
It was awesome. It’s very small but quaint. The staff was over top!!! We’ll go back:)
I liked the friendly service and the flavors were authentic
The location of Patiala Indian Grill is very close to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. The restaurant is small but the service is excellent. I have had my fill of Indian food and the food at Patiala is delicious. The food is authentic and mildly spicy. The breads are flaky and awesome. There is a long list of vegan, vegetarian and other options. It is therefore suited for a wide ranging crowd.
Even the “mild” was very spicy!
Tiny place. Great food
Fantastic food at this quaint restaurant, which was very clean and had good service. We particularly enjoyed the chicken vindaloo (deliciously spicy!) and the chilli garlic naan. Would definitely recommend this place, especially in the chilly evenings in NYC!
Food and service wa amazing. Small family run friendly restaurant. Authentic flavorful Indian food. Fabulous!
Restaurant is small; but the food is excellent and the service was outstanding.
Great Indian option in the area.
Although the place is small and cramped, the quality of the food and the vast menu are well worth it.
Good find for pre-concert dinner near Madison Square Garden.
Amazing food. Amazing service. We were on a trip to New York and we went back for a second time. I would highly recommend it.
The food and service were absolutely excellent. The food came out without a bit of waiting and the host was very attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.
Always a good sign if you see an Indian family eating in an Indian restaurant.
