Food is amazing!!! Could have brought out the heaters earlier
I had lower expectations in terms of food quality because all the Indian restaurants i’ve tried in London are quite refined; but i was surprised because it was really good and tasty! Would go again
Food was good and reasonably priced. Cocktails were nice. Wine was expensive (especially considering they only serve one size - 175ml - it is priced at what you would usually pay for 250ml at other restaurants). Staff were friendly and helpful. The tables are on the street on quite a busy road which isn’t ideal but understandable in the current circumstances. There was a performer singing which was good but extremely loud so we could hardly hear each other.

Fantastic venue, great food flavours and an imaginative menu with lovely staff. Patio heaters to keep out the chill and the offer of blankets and hand warmers but not needed. Excellent all round, would visit again and highly recommend.

The food was very tasty and we all enjoyed what we had, and it’s a good sign when there is nothing left.
One tiny gripe: the tables outside are a little on the small side for 4 diners.

The food was lovely, a really unique Indian restaurant, I hadn't been to one similar before. It's a nice change from traditional curry houses. The beer is expensive though!

We went to Pataka last Sunday and it was lovely, the waiter and waitresses were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. Being a vegetarian it can sometime be hard to find food that is as nice as chicken dishes but these really did set new standards. Will be coming back for my sisters birthday !

Great food. Enjoyed it on a sunny day with a good cocktail. As temperature dropped staff brought out heaters adding to the pleasurable experience.

Great food and excellent service
Lovely meal. We were a group of 4, well taken care of with superb service and ambiance. Super food, authentic with a lovely twist. Cocktails were great too, especially the CHAI MARTINI. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Good food overall but very slow service (food took 50 minutes+ to arrive) and staff didn't communicate this until we checked half an hour later.
Beer wasn't listed as an item on the menu but was still offered. We were charged £16 for two pints of Kingfisher! Day light robbery, but more importantly it should be mentioned on the menu so customers don't feel deceived.
The toilets were quite dirty, my wife complained the women's loo was unusable. This could be down to them being new and not being ready to fully open indoor dining etc. But still inexcusable.
Overall quite disappointing as the food was promising!

Sad to report that staff was disorganised brought my main with the starters, not knowing the food or wine menus.
Also, I had a food ( or chemical MSG ?) poisoning for 24 hours...

Each dish on our menu is labelled with allergens & we are vigilant to our guest's needs. As a new restaurant, the staff are in the middle of extensive training, and things are on the up. food was very nice and a pleasant ambience outside whilst eating.
HI I did not stay at the restaurant long. On arrival it was chaos - I hadnt quite realised it was on a main road. I spoke in succession to three different people about my reservation. To add to the noise level a singer was playing on a microphone which meant the table they initially wanted us to sit at was directly opposite - and frankly conversation would have been impossible - they showed us to another table by the main entrance. This was not a place to relax and with people constantly in and out of the door there was no way I was staying. By then none of the managers were around and Id had enough and left. I also saw that they were offering people tables inside which I understood was not allowed under the rules so that just confirmed my opinion that this was a very badly run restaurant and not one I would ever return to.
Dear Philip As a startup that is 5 days old, we love feedback and hope to continue to improve. However, there are certain things beyond our control, like the roar of a sports car on the street. We are sorry you felt that your seating requirements were taken care of, but we assert firmly that we did NOT offer any guest a seat inside, and are not violating any rules. We would love for you to dine with us, sans the singer, so that you can truly experience Pataka.
Lovely food. We had prowns in lemon curry. Service must be improved. Waitresses doesn't know the dishes as they're can't answer what is made of....
Asked one wateress for the bill but she forgot about it and supposed ask another waitress to get the bill.
Definitely recommend this place because of very delicious food but Service to be honest a bit poor.

Small plates and main dishes were very nice. Dessert range limited but may be due to COVID-19. Manager came out to recommend dishes based on our selection, whilst the Chef came out to speak to diners and check we are happy with the food after it was served which was a nice touch if you are into dining as an experience. The seating area outside was very nice, comfortable and sheltered under a gazebo. Only negative was during covid tables are booked for an hour and we were not made aware of this whilst booking but after sat at the table. They did let us stay longer as they had the capacity but just to be aware if they are busy they may request the table.
