I always enjoyed sitting at the fire place and chatting with the chefs while they cook. This is our goto date place before the ballet.

We had the flank steak and the spit roasted pork special that we could see roasting on the spit. The pork was amazing! Unlike any pork I've had before. Creamy and tender with the skin that was hard and crispy. It was so rich that I couldn't eat very much. My husband's flank steak was a bit chewy but had good flavor. When he commented to the waitress that is was a bit chewy she automatically offered a free dessert. We didn't think that was necessary, but it was a nice gesture and the dessert was very good. The only problem I had was that I thought the "smoky" flavor was a bit overdone on the vegetables. It was a bit overwhelming for my taste, but I'm not a huge fan of smoked foods generally. So some might think it was excellent and it is a really nice food experience.

Sadly disappointing (given I live next door). I was rooting for Patagon to be at least decent. It turned out to be a pretty average looking place, with limited ambience, then the service was a bit of a disaster, followed by a lukewarm, albeit quote tasty burger. Hopefully just a bad day but won't be rushing back in a hurry that's for sure.

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant and enjoyable ambiance, however we continuously had to remind the staff including the manager that we were on an hour time constraint. The delays with food being served and dessert being served was a really disappointment, especially when one is in charge of scheduling all lunches for the board and her team and the other deals with lunches for attorneys and their clients. The staff should not assume that not all persons are there on leisure.

The service and ambience was good. However, the food was really disappointing. I got the pork with the potato gratin on the side, while the flavor was good both items had been overcooked. Both the pork and the potatoes had clearly been overcooked and were really dry. As such given the price i can't recommend this place.

A typical hotel restaurant. They had the makings for something great with their meat preparations but weren’t told about it until later in the evening g
The food was fantastic - but we were the only ones in the restaurant and NOONE was working the front door, the bar tender had to seat us. I then asked about a drink they had online to where she said she could make that - then walked away. I thought she walked away to make it, but no. She said she was waiting for me to confirm if I wanted it - but I had no idea because she walked away before I could respond. Then we had to ask who our server was because the 4 people standing around folding napkins found that more important than serving tables. Then when we did ask for service - we were greeted with an eye roll and then watched the staff decide who actually would be our server. They eye roller won and she then served my friend a glass wine that tasted like it had been corked a long time ago. The new glass she brought out was a darker shade - that is how old the first wine we were served was. But, when we asked for a replacement (another eye roll) we asked questions about our food (another eye roll). Just horrible customer service. Great food - probably the best I have had in a LONG time - but I will not be returning after the service we received.

Restaurant was almost empty, took forever for the server to come over but very friendly..ish...then almost 1 1/2 hrs for entrees to be served (5 people), everyone's food was cold, sides finally arrived. We all agreed the taste was good...even cold...offered free deserts... but with 2 bottles of $30 wine bill was only about $150...so you decide.

The Argentine style of cooking is put on display here. Very authentic. The meats are outstanding, and the dishes very well prepared. However, the table service is lacking. I have lived downtown for nearly 30 years...and I learned a long time ago that it really doesn't matter where you eat...expensive,or affordable...the service doesn't vary much from lousy to okay. Patagon is no exception. We ordered drinks before brunch...and waited...and waited for them...until, out comes our food...and the drinks arrive right behind the plates. If I had NOT asked a different waiter for our drinks...I am pretty sure they would have never come. We had to ask for a bar menu in the first place, after the waiter asks us if we would like a drink, how do we know if they have anything that we would like if we don't have a menu? Didn't order a second drink. I was given a brunch menu, and my wife a breakfast menu, so we weren't sure if brunch was on, or not. The waiter spilled water all over the table, and tried to clean it up with a towel that didn't absorb water...so, the water was just spread all over the table. After taking our drink order...they took away our coffee cups...would have liked to have had a cup of coffee with my breakfast but didn't even ask for it. Would it have showed up after I was done eating (probably)? Mandatory 20% gratuity...which has only made service WORSE in Seattle. Why try and do a good job as a waiter if you are going to get an automatic 20%! Manager showed up at our table, informed her of our displeasure, and she wanted to play word games with me about the gratuity (I worked in restaurants...I know what a gratuity/tip is) and argued with me. Frankly, I don't think she understands what good service is. Although we love the food we probably will not go back for breakfast/brunch. We did sit at the chef's bar and had great service for dinner about a month ago...which is why I checked the box "yes" as to recommend to a friend for dinner.

food was delicious and the sommelier attentive to provide jus the right combination for our meal - recommend the churros - melt in your mouth!
The servers seemed to be confused. We were told the special was lamb, then when we went to order it we were told the special just changed. We asked what it changed to, the answer was steak. There’s several different cuts of steak in the menu, so we said okay, what cut of steak? The server said he would check. He came back and told us the special was “beef steak”. Again, we asked what cut of beef and he could not answer and said it would be “like” the flank steak. What did that mean? We’re still not sure. The restaurant was not busy by any means but there seemed to be a lot of disorganization and confusion among the staff. I guess it’s good for the servers that the 20% tip is already included because they definitely wouldn’t have gotten 20% if it was left up to us.
If you are looking for a restaurant that has low carb options, ie Keto or Paleo diets - this is the place. Their meats are amazing and the salads are fresh. We went early before a show at the MOORE Theatre, great place to meet and relax. Super friendly waitstaff.
Two of the best meals of my life have been with Patagon. The most recent featured the pork chop. Which was really about 4-5 pork chops grilled perfectly. Simply seasoned, juicy and flavorful.
The wine selection could use more South American varietals, but the Cab paired nicely without overpowering the meal.
service has room to improve. food is good value. the selections on the menu is great, you can find something for everybody.
Elegant with nice booths. Portions are uneven - only 2.5 scalllops (!?) in one entree, large salmon portion in another. Grilled lamb delicious though 2/3 was fat To be trimmed away. Initially server was slow to arrive, but thereafter was very attentive.

Had a wonderful pre theatre dinner. Food and presentation wonderful.
Excellent wine selection. Appetizer and dessert were amazing, but the main courses were a bit of a letdown. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Our experience at this restaurant was mostly positive. Service was outstanding, ambiance was beautiful, but our food didn't have that wow factor. Granted, I did order seafood at what seemed to be a steak restaurant and my husband chicken was good, not impressive, though. My mussels, shrimp, and crab pasta dish didn't have much of a personality, and for the prices, I honestly expect all of the menu items to impress. The most impressive dish was the ceasar salad...it was delicioius.
Great food in a warm, modern ambiance. We ordered the bin-in pork chop with some hesitation. Restaurant pork chops are often over cooked and dry. Patagon’s was flavorful and juicy. Definitely the best restaurant pork chop we have ever had.
Waiter might have been new. Had to look at her sheet to answer questions about ingredients. Came twice to ask us if we were ready to order when we were clearly still deliberating, I was leaned over looking at my friend’s menu together.
One of the dishes came
later than the others. She didn’t mention when she dropped off the first ones that the fish was coming and wished us a good meal and told us to tell us if we needed anything else. So, we were worried she left off and didn’t put an order in. It took a while to get her attention to ask if it was still coming.
The food looked delicious (and tasted amazing) so we wanted to take a picture. We were struggling to take the selfie and wanted to ask her to help take a picture for us. While standing next to us and walking past us as we were struggling to take a picture a 5 stair waiter would have offer to take it. She doesn’t get even 4 stars because once we finally got her attention and ask if she could take a photo for us, she said, “just in a bit” and left. What... were we supposed to keep sitting there not eating all the food and wait for her to come back? We waited for a little and gave up. Even when she did come back (to address the only other full table in the large restaurant), she did not talk to us or say she was ready to take a picture. In fact she didn’t stop by to do anything after. She just gave us a check without even asking if we wanted dessert. We decided not to get dessert because of her. The food was stellar but she really ruined our mood.
Maybe it’s because gratuity was included so she did not have to pay attention or maybe she was new to the industry.
The beet salad was amazing, the service was friendly and professional. This is a “must go again” place!
I thought it was good, not great. Chewy,tough empanada dough, good sirloin, alfajores we’re dipped in Chocolate, dulce de leche. Good service.
Service was very slow. Empanada was served cold. Warmed up one was presented but too hard to eat. Beet salad was wonderful. Steak served too rare. Salmon burned accompanied by charred asparagus. At this point we left the restaurant.
We were seated in front of the open kitchen. Two employees visible and terribly overwhlemed. Captain then stood by the kitchen tapping his foot and schuffling all of the waiting orders. Not conducive to an enjoyable, relaxing meal even with exceptional food.
