Pasta da Pulcinella
Valentine’s Day. I took my lover out for a night and we loved it.
No parking. No valet. No signs for parking. Terrible in that area of town to have no parking plan.
Delightful Valentines Dinner! Benjamin was a wonderful server and the food was delicious. The portions were a bit small for the price, but the food came out quickly and beautifully. The bottle of wine gift was a lovely treat.
The food was delicious! Great prices for delicious food. The only bad part was we had a reservation and had to wait over 30 minutes because the restaurant only had one particular table picked out for us and the people sitting there were talking and talking and were so inconsiderate even thought there were 20 people waiting. The restaurant is very small. Not sure if the restaurant doesn’t allot enough time between reservations but other than that it was really good.
The risotto special was bland and not well done. The chicken ravioli sauce seemed to be different. Other than the tiramisu, the desserts lacked flavor. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. All in all a less than stellar dinner.
Great food, great ambiance, great location. Very enjoyable dining. Will go back in the future.
Second time visiting with my wife and once again we left very happy. The pasta is second-to-none!
Love this place. Eaten here for many years!
We were in town for conference and wanting Italian. Pasta da Pulcinella came up high on search and had nice reviews. We were definitely glad we tried it. We had a quieter table for 2 by a wall with curtain separating, but I could see how it could be louder. However, our server was wonderful, food was amazing (ate way too much), and the wine recommended was very smooth and flavorful. We would definitely go again when in Atlanta.
Great dinner after work
Very nice, cozy, romantic spot... Great pasta and the Caesar salad was the best I've ever had!
We enjoy dining at Pasta da Pulcinella. We do recommend you to others. We look forward to more visits in the future.
This was only my second visit to this restaurant. Once again thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This time I had the lobster ravioli with cream sauce. Yummy. The bread was excellent and I had a really good glass of wine. My husband and a friend with us had a seafood pasta dish. They both cleaned their plate. His wife had a green pasta dish that she said was so-so. It was a very busy night in the restaurant. Much busier it seems than the last time I was there. We felt just a little rushed so it wasn't the really relaxing dinner experience that I like to have when I go out to eat. I get it from the restaurant's point of view - the place is small and there were people waiting to be seated. Those people represent revenue. Maybe the answer is to allow more time for a table of people to sit down and eat and enjoy a meal with friends. We finally left there and went to another venue, had dessert and a couple of bottles of wine in a relaxed midtown atmosphere. I will definitely go back to Pulcinella for the food. It was delicious.
We all LOVED our food. All different orders, all delicious. Great ambiance, hosts, waiters, and servers. Very small bar area, but we seated quickly. A little on the loud side, but not distracting. Will definitely return!
We were a little late for our reservation, so we sat at the bar. The bartenders were wonderful and very attentive throughout our entire meal. Some of the food was great, while other dishes did not quite hit the mark. I was hoping for a cozier ambiance, but it was a bit dark and noisy. Not sure if we’ll eat there again, given all of the amazing Italian options in the city.
I have had better meals here before. I brought two business associates, it was their first time and they were not impressed. I was disappointed as well. I had not visited in a long time but it was not as I remembered.
Excellent food and service. All parts of the dinner were great.
Perfect for date night. Cozy, quiet, ridiculously good food and a professional wait staff. Highly recommended.
Loved it, a local gem!
Great food....great service....great atmosphere. Total package!!! Always enjoy coming here
You guys have to put in the menu what kinds of nuts is in pasta, I am having to take someone to the hospital because you didn’t state was in their pasta
Service was off the chain good and it was a crazy busy Sat night! Rob was our server and he was amazing! Great recommendations, delicious food, adorable ambiance!
My Wife’s Birthday
Great time, wonderful food!
Great service, very good food, surprisingly reasonable prices. I’d recommend it without reservation to anyone. Salads, pasta dishes, outstanding gelato to finish, but especially attentive and timely service. Waiter, John, was outstanding.
Food was outstanding as always. Our server, Robin, is our favorite and we were thrilled to have him again last night. Attentive, friendly and funny! Thank you again for a wonderful evening!
Becoming one my favorite Atlanta restaurants. Mushroom ravioli is simply one of the best dishes ever!
I have done so already! He and his wife plan to dine with you soon.
Amazing meal, excellent service
this restaurant is consistently outstanding in terms of food, service and atmosphere. The only issue is lack of parking.
Second time for dinner and our guests, local Atlanta residents, agreed it was great and would come back again. So will I.
Fantastic food. Amazing service. Great date night spot.
Really fabulous experience as a double date. It is cozy/a bit crowded and loud but we were seated right away. Our server, Benjamin, was wonderful. 3/4 entrees were fantastic. We will be back!
Perfect experience as usual.
A lovely, cozy little restaurant tucked among high-rise buildings in mid-town. The staff was warm & friendly. The food was delicious, however the black pepper gnocchi was a bit too pepper-y. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a charming place before a show or to just relax with some comfort pasta & a good glass of wine!
PdP does a lot of business. Service is quick. Our second visit here. The menu is thoughtful and looks to reflect a mastery of the dishes. Had the signature Ravioli with GS apple and sausage first visit. Was treated to a really well executed and unique dish that delivered. This trip I made the assumption any item would offer the same experience and was unfortunately disappointed by my dish and my wife's. Poorly seasoned sauce for me and over sautéed chicken for her. Scratch made Pastas are great so the bread service was another surprise. Table bread lacked body and the bread served with Bruschetta should have been reserved for crumbs. Desert was great. This trip was a bit of a head scratcher I can only attribute to Chef DuJour. Lean on your server for recommendations here.
Very consistent service and food quality. Tight table setting and always full but you know that so not a big deal. Have taken several out of town guests there and they are always quite impressed.
Our first experience dining at this restaurant was AMAZING! From the ease of parking, ease of online reservation, quality of food, service, wine selection, pricing, to the atmosphere, my husband & I were quite impressed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Italian restaurant, especially if one desires a location near Atlanta Symphony Hall! Plan to return again.
Nice atmosphere can’t make up for bad food
