Pasta da Pulcinella
all looking for a place to eat, drink, relax, and, on occasion, order one more bottle of Chianti.
Whether it’s a young couple or a group event, theatre patrons or traveling business persons, everyone basks in the romantic charm of our little yellow house hidden in the shadow of skyscrapers.
Great food! Was in town for a work event and ate here. I was impressed enough to bring my husband next time in town (this time). The value, can’t beat it!
We had an excellent Italian meal. Our server was very friendly and you did not feel like you were being pushed out the door on a busy Friday night, American style. The place is small but that adds to the charm. We had tickets to a show but easily could have stayed longer, Italian style.
Atmosphere was very nice, parking was terrible. Calamari skimpy for the price and very tough. Osso buccco tasty but not “melt in your mouth”; seafood pasta not enough salt. Would not be able to recommend to anyone who knows good Italian food. Sorry!
The service is great!
The food is always fresh and incredible!
Overall very wonderful restaurant!
Four of us who live in Alpharetta came to the city for dinner and a Christmas Concert by Martina McBride at the Alliance. In researching nearby restaurants we came across this wonderful gem. Reviews were good so we made reservations and we were not disappointed!! Our server, who was also the bartender (and very busy) never missed a beat! She was knowledgeable, helpful, welcoming and fun!! The food was excellent! We will go back!!
Food was ok. Service was spotty. Not sure I’d go back.
The food was really good. The place is great if you are looking for a nice place for a Date.
This restaurant is ok. I believe there are better Italian restaurants in the area
Food was good we received was very good. We wanted to order the lasagna and was told it was only made twice a year and the last was sold on Friday. We were there on Sunday. An Italian restaurant without lasagna as a staple! We felt rushed by the staff and were out of there in an hour. Very disappointing. Will not be back.
One of the best meals I have had in Atlanta. My new go to place.
Food was just ok. We had the gnocchi, mushroom ravioli, bruschetta and lasagna. The lasagna was by far the best. Tables were way too close together and you could not hear each other talking it was so loud. The outdoor seating looked nice. Tiramisu was delicious. Service was terrible. My sons spaghetti came 8-10 minutes after the adults meals. No drink refills. Plates were removed my other servers because they were stacking up. Parking was $8 across the street.
Had server spill my appetizer on the table then use their hands to put the food back on the plate expecting me to still eat it. Question if new management, new staff is present. Not as service oriented as in the past. Food was still very good.
We had a wonderful meal Friday night. This restaurant is a gem in midtown Atlanta. Our server, Linne, was very kind, timely and full of great foodie tips. For instance, she told us that the lasagna is only made three times per year. (BTW a fantastic tip....) The food is wonderful. It is a tight fit in a small space. But that did not make any difference in our evening. Bravo and thanks!
We enjoyed sitting outside near the fire pit. The food and service was excellent.
We love this restaurant and this was not our first time, but had a rough start this time. We had a reservation at 7:30 and were not seated until 8:30. Once we were seated the wait staff worked hard to keep us happy and make up for the wait. Not sure what happened, but it was crowded, noisy, and difficult. The food as always was wonderful.
Just delicious. There were four of us, we all had something different and each meal was wonderful.
Michael is just the best server! Takes Ana big care of the customers
Great pasta and intimate environment!
Cozy and intimate spot with great Italian fare. Thumbs up!
We celebrated a quiet Anniversary dinner here. Everything was perfect! We decided that this is now ‘Our Place’ to celebrate, bring guests or just reconnect after / during a busy work week. Tables in the back are quieter and weekdays best for noise level. However the food / Service are never compromised no matter the day. Before we left we booked another reservation for the future. You won’t be disappointed.
Table requested was not granted and hostess didn’t really care, that was disappointing for a party of 6
Love this spot! Food is great and the place is charming! Outside in spring and fall is fantastic! Staff is friendly and accommodating...
Qute little place in an old house. The food was great and the service nice. Great cocktails
Very good meal. Seating is a little crowded and tends to be loud when full, but still a very good experience. Food is excellent. We had lobster ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, signature dish of apples and sausage ravioli, and the chicken with cheese tortellini. All very good!
We had a wonderful experience and will Definitely be back!
The restaurant was at capacity for our 6pm reservation and it was during the Thanksgiving holiday season. We came early we were asked to seated now or wait for a better table. We decided to wait 20 so we could have a nicer table. After waiting, 35 minutes, 15 minutes past our reservation time, we were put next to the waiting area as we were fed up by this time. My wife was next to the waiting area with her back against an access area for the other tables. The front was disorganized, overwhelmed, and made promises they are unable to remember. We were disappointed after waiting and felt tricked. There is no waiting area and no bar seats available, but they seem to take on too many reservations, lose some reservations or simply disorganized. There was a reservation of 10 before us, and a lost reservation of 5. Seems to be lots of problems on weekends. Our host Linne was outstanding, she tried to find ways to help us forget the mistakes made and saved the evening for us. She also caught other issues with busing the table next to us and seemed to understand the difference between good and great. Thank you Linne for your hard work and doing your job in a great way! I am not sure I will go back, as there seems to be a problems with reservations and there are simply too many tight tables in a cozy restaurant. The next time I stay at Four Seasons, I may ask the front to make reservations, rather than one table, Our food was good, but I would recommend hand made Italian elsewhere. Best.
First time at this amazing restaurant. It exceeded all of our expectation. We started with the Gorgonzola Walnut & Goat Truffles, then the Lobster Ravioli and Tortelli de Mele both delicious, finished it off with Creme Brulee and a slice of Tiramisu with coffee, both were excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive, food was served promptly.
Great food, fantastic time
Food was very good, a couple of portions were smallish. Service and ambiance was good, however did get loud and crowded. Tight quarters to move around, may consider removing a table or two.
The food was amazing!
As always exceeded expectations for food and friendly service.
I just absolutely love this place :)
Dinner was so so but our waiter was really ‘aloof’ and didn’t care one bit about the customer. It was almost as if we interrupted his day. We all ordered items that were not appropriate for our tastebuds.
Then, to top it off, he stole $25 from us by double dipping on the tip. We left a 25% tip and he added another $25.60 “AUTOMATIC” gratuity with the full knowledge that we didn’t know about it.
Had to wait outside in the cold for 30 minutes despite having a reservation. Hostess didn’t seem to care. In fact, she asked us to leave as it was too crowded inside and told us to wait outside. My pasta was very good but my wife’s chicken was undercooked.
Food was great, Lynne our server was incredibly knowledgeable...loved her!
The main down points were: 1. the Marinara sauce that was way to spicy and not really Italian as we expected 2. Mature ‘D was not welcoming and reacted poorly when we asked to move tables.
Other than that, everything was fine. Our server was great, food came quickly and in reasonable portions
Very fresh, unique and delicious
In my opinion the lunch menu is better than the dinner menu
First year marriage anniversary and came to try to something new and our expectations were definitely met!
Great business dinner with a large group. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend!
