Great date night eating experience. Although a little cramped for space, the ambience was nice and our server, Hannah, was fantastic. We began with the grilled asparagus appetizer which is a must try. I had the veal which was perfectly prepared. My wife had the chicken parmesan and she enjoyed every bite. For desert, we had tiramisu and it was very light and fluffy. Simply delicious! I would highly recommend this little gem and we will certainly be going back. Trey M. Perry, Georgia.

My boyfriend and I ate here before our senior prom. We were expecting an intimate dining experience with a large, reasonably priced menu. I’m sure that’s normally how things are at Pasta da Pulcinella, but that wasn’t the case for us.
Upon arrival, the hostess attempted to explain to us that there’s a “prom menu” that includes a salad, entree, and dessert for $30 per person. There were 3 salad options, 5 or 6 entree options, and about 4 dessert options. We were given the choice to order off the regular dinner menu but were told it would still cost about $30 with no salad or dessert. So we decided to order off the prom menu since it seemed like the better value.
Our server was nice enough, the restaurant was busy with large parties so it was understandably difficult for him to pay much attention to just the 2 of us, but he did a good job for the situation. However, the kitchen brought my boyfriend the wrong entree. They brought us 2 of what i had ordered—the tagliatelle verdi—instead of 1 tagliatelle and 1 ravioli di funghi. We would’ve sent it back had we not suddenly been distracted by the realization we had left our prom tickets at home.
All in all, I don’t feel like we were treated like normal customers. My boyfriend and I both work in the restaurant business, so we completely understand how irresponsible and rude some teenagers can be. However, I don’t understand the reasoning behind this “prom menu.” It would make sense for large groups, but for just 2 people it seems ridiculous. Our bill was $65 and because we weren’t expecting to spend that much, we weren’t able to give a sizable tip, which we hate to do since we are tipped workers ourselves.
I would 100% give Pasta da Pulcinella another try, because I don’t feel like my first experience was typical for them. I just hope they see this and take this into consideration!

Pasta da Pulcinella is in an adorable yellow house among tall business buildings in midtown Atlanta. If you like unique, like I do, you will love this restaurant. It is loaded with atmosphere and charm. There is easy parking across the street in a metered parking lot. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Our waiter (I think his name was John) was a nice balance of awesome, professional and warm and friendly all at the same time. :-) The food is quite good - especially the pasta dishes. 2 of our party of four ordered one of those. There are a couple of vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had the chicken ravioli with mushroom and a light cream sauce. One of our friends had ravioli sardi (vegetarian). Both dishes were good. I was missing a certain uptick in flavor in both of those dishes (I tasted hers :-)) Maybe it needed fennell or some other spice to give it a charge and push it over the top. But that's my personal taste. The wine was also good. This is a definitely a place to experience. If you haven't been, you should go. We definitely will be returning.

Very cute little restaurant with an outdoor patio and a great list of wines by the glass. Tortelli de Mele is a must-try!

I’m vacationing with a long-time friend, our first time in Atlanta. Our server, Hannah, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had salads, grilled asparagus, my friend had pasta with shrimp, I had mushroom ravioli. All the food was delicious. Our only issue was that we asked not to be rushed after our salads and appetizer arrived quickly and together. Our entrees were not served until we were ready but we both could tell they had been held - not postponed in the kitchen. Pasta tastes best when it’s just cooked. Otherwise it was a lovely evening and we would recommend it.

Hands down, my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. I came here one weekend after a trip to Italy and I’ve been hooked every since. The staff remembers me, the food is always amazing, and the Chianti wine selection takes me right back to Italy.

This was my second time here. Just like the first time the experience and food were excellent. You can't believe that pasta can taste so darn good. You feel special from the moment you walk up to the restaurant when the host opens the door for you until you walk out the door. My only complaint is you have to pay $8-$10 for parking.

This was a family reunion dinner. We haven’t dined here in a number of years, and had forgotten how much we enjoy this neighborhood gem. Ben was especially gracious, and his service was spot on.

We were in town visiting and the food was fine. But the tables are absolutely ridiculously close together. Ive been to many restaurants, and I have never had to have the host come over to move two tables in order to get out and go to the restroom.

The food is good, not outstanding.

Warm, inviting atmosphere. Excellent service. Had the house specially ravioli which was absolutely excellent. I can see why it’s gotten such great reviews. Pretty simple, they’re we’ll-deserved.

Pasta da Pulchinella is a regular lunch spot for me. This was the first time I visited for dinner, but I was confident in Chef's product, and was excited to bring 3 guests visiting from Orlando, Florida, in addition to my son, out to dine. The service was friendly, amusing, attentive, and polite. The food was very good and we had a great time catching up over a meal. My guests included three between 11 and 14 years old, all of whom ate their fill. Either the food meets the selective pallet of that age well, or its just so good, they don't think to object! I rather prefer the latter (and, perhaps, mature kids that have good taste in cuisine!) It does get a bit loud, and the space for 6 was a bit tight, up against the fireplace. But, no one complained about that.

Special table request was accommodated, server was friendly, attentive and helpful in wine suggestion. Order was bought to table quickly and accurately. Was a very nice find to celebrate two birthdays. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! Oh yeah... Food was so tasty! To quote Arnold, I'll be back.

A hidden gem in downtown. In a city with too many change restaurants a unique and very good venue is refreshing. Took the recommendation of the server for the main course and was very pleased with a delicious Italian dinner. Reasonable wine selection. Will be back

This was our second visit to Pasta del Pulcinella. The first was on a lovely, warm evening and we were fortunate to have a table on the deck. Too chilly for that this time, but the inside of the restaurant is lovely, too. The food both times was very good, creative and well-prepared, particularly the asparagus appetizer we shared this time. The servers are professional and knowledgeable, although the server this time was a bit pushy. For example, she disparaged the wine we selected, which could have been embarrassing! The only problem was that the courses came much too fast for the experience to be fully enjoyable. We had a pretty early reservation in order to get to a performance - it turned out we had an hour to kill!
