Pasta da Pulcinella
Restaurant was recommended to us by our Uber driver earlier in the day. So glad we ventured to this gem in the city. Excellent food and service. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening.
The restaurant is nice. If you’re looking for traditional Italian, this isn’t the place for you. No red meat on the menu except veal. Maybe there was something in the specials but we weren’t told the specials but did over hear them being told to another table after we ordered. The red sauce is watery and doesn’t have flavor. The noddles were over cooked and mushy. No Parmesan cheese, but they did have mozzarella (yuck). We can say we tried it.
For the most part the food was good. However, the calamari that I ordered as an appetizer was unusually chewy and rather flavorless. The pasta, drinks, and dessert that I ordered was all delicious. The service was excellent.
The food was fabulous and our server, Michael was the best! Thanks for a great time Michael. We will return again when in Atlanta
Good food and service!
Overall everything was good. I would have liked a little more attention from our server but they have other people helping also.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant! Food and service were excellent.
One word. Outstanding. In every way possible. My wife and I found this gem by accident and were overwhelmed by every aspect. I could go on and on about the food and the wine but I must say the service was impeccable. I don’t think we’ve had a server that has been this attentive, personable and passionate about a location and it’s food in memory. I mean in forever. A true Gem.
Must ask for Rob in. He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable ! I went with my wife and my two sisters, none of whom can make the decision to cross the street. Robin held them in the palm of his hand and had them become crossing guards in minutes. Food was country casual and elegant as well. I had salmon risotto and I paid no attention to the other 3. Robin also knows how to pour a drink.
Make sure you have a reservation. There are 4 seats at the bar so the hostess kindly pointed ya next door to Foxtrot which was very fun.
Overall good except our entrees weren’t very hot.
Kyo is a great server.
Very loud. It took a very long time to get menus, water and to have our order taken. Three of the four entrees were very good, the salmon risotto had no flavor. Trimisu was excellent. Staff was very rude to guests waiting inside for car to be picked up.
Delicious. Loved our waiter. Thanks for a great night out!
Wonderful food and wine, fantastic service! This place is amazing, and I highly recommend it!
Awesome food, fantastic service!
We enjoyed a pre-symphony dinner at Pasta da Pulcinella and it was a great time! Loved the specialty cocktail that I started with, a grapefruit vodka concoction, all the way through to the wonderful Tiramisu. How have I not been here before??? Will certainly be back!
Consistently great! Though I have introduced this quaint restaurant to many others, it's popularity has grown so much that I have to always make reservations.
My only complaint is that the parking cost is ridiculous! Also, not much parking is available, so if you go primetime, good luck!
Simply put, this is one of the best places we've ever dined at.
The place was clean and appealing. The waitstaff was well-informed, efficient, and friendly.
The menu was more expansive than we would have thought, given how small the place is, and we had a hard time choosing among the many appealing options. In the end we had the apple-and-sausage ravioli, and it was fantastic, some of the best we've ever had.
The prices were more than reasonable. We couldn't believe how little such an amazingly good meal was!
We are definitely coming back!
Love this place.....a bit crowded (squeezing between chairs) but the food is sooo worth it. I live around the corner & every time I make it here, I'm satisfied & content.
We went here before heading to the Fox for a concert. The restaurant is cozy (it’s in an old house) and nicely decorated. The servers knew their stuff and made great recommendations. I had to do a GF pasta which was good. My friend got the mushroom ravioli and said it was amazing. They had a nice wine list. And we ended with authentic yummy tiramisu.
It was a really nice dinner and we weren’t rushed and really got to enjoy it. I’ll definitely return with my husband.
The prosciutto wrapped asparagus was delicious as was the crispy ravioli! Wonderful evening of incredible food and great service.
Very good food at a reasonable price. We had several appetizers, all tasty. Chicken Picatta and trout excellent. Lamb chops cooked just right.
This was truly a nice dining experience, from the friendly knowledgeable waiter to the outstanding pasta. If I had any complaints it was with the calamari, but the salads, pasta, and wine were first class. I'd recommend this little place to anyone.
Food is consistently great; service is always top notch!
Charming atmosphere, delicious food and all of the staff we're perfect.
The service was great after we finally got a server but they took great care of us. The food was pretty good. I do not care for the tables being SO close to each other. The drinks are fair but overall I would say YES give this place a try
Food was terrific, very flovorful. Chicken cannelloni was outstanding. Hostesses and wsiter were grest. People deli ering food and pocking up plates?... not so much. Very efficient and well organized place, but some of the workers need to be a bit more friendly. Absolutely will return.
We went to Pasta da Pulcinella for our anniversary dinner. We had not been there before and were very pleased with the whole experience.
It was a wonderful. The recommendations by our waitress were spot on.
I took my daughter here for her 25th birthday. We had a lovely table right by the window. The atmosphere of this old house turned restaurant was charming. The service was prompt and courteous. The food was delicious!
We loved everything about it and can't wait to go back again!
If you’re looking for good Italian food, COME HERE. Seriously some of the best pasta I have ever had and the tiramisu is to die for!!
We go into the city occasionally to dine at Pasta da Pulcinella and it is always worth the trip. Tucked into a remodeled house, it is slowly being overwhelmed by high-rise craziness, but it still retains its charm. The food is just outstanding, the have a nice wine list and the staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoy the patio when weather permits. Reservations are highly recommended or you might have a wait.
Excellent food and service!
As always the food was delicious and the service perfect.
This is one of my favorite places, due to its ambiance and location to my office, but my last visit was a disappointment. I ordered the chicken Saltimbanco, which the waiter said as a "top 5 dish". The chicken was overcooked and not flavorful, and the sauce it was covered in was bland. I typically order the lunch special, which normally does not disappoint.
My husband ordered the Chicken Saltimboca, while I got the Ravioli di Funghi. Both dishes were very authentic and delicious. Portion size was generous, and prices were more than reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant!
we have been coming for a long time but now that the parking is gone, we might confine this to warm nights when we can walk there
Always a wonderful evening...may fav restaurant in town!
3 out of 4 were good. My wife’s pasta was not good . It was the first pasta on the menu . Pasta was green.
The waiter saw that it was not eaten and should have immediately took action as to why and maybe have another meal prepared. Robin was the waiter. The pasta was not only not tasty but looked terrible. I hope I will be contacted to discuss. I would recommend if we’re contacted to discuss and maybe ask us to try again .
