Pasta da Pulcinella
It has been years since I had been...and the ambiance still remained. Nice to visit again. Food did not disappoint!
Our waiter was the absolute bare minimum of hospitable to us. We watched him be friendly with all the tables around us - offering recommendations, parmesan for their entrees, checking in on them - and he barely said a word to us, much less checked in. He brought us our first round of drinks and then never came back until he brought the check. No drink refills, nothing. I have no idea what we did to offend him, but it was very obvious that he did not like us from the start.
We felt very unwelcome at this restaurant. I would not recommend and will not go back.
Love this restaurant. Good prices, great food, and a homey atmosphere.
Service excellent. Food great. Great value
This place used to be a nice quiet place where adults could share an enjoyable dinner and intimate conversation. I could barely hear my dinner companion over the children and the loud conversations of the other guests. I really enjoy the food but probably will not be back because of the atmosphere.
Pasta was not as good as it usually is for the price. Would have loved to have had some fresh grated cheese but apparently they were to busy. Love the atmosphere and the location. Will give them another try.
we enyoy everthing, excpect the service one of the ladies was a bit tough,
Every time I go to Pasta da Pulcinella I am as delightfully surprised as the last. I have not had a dish here that has not exceeded my expectations. The two servers I have experienced are extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the restaurant. I highly recommend going and making a reservation ahead of time if you do. If you do not have a reservation, the Foxtrot next door is a great way to kill some time with great drinks.
Undoubtedly high quality food. However, the plating of the mushroom ravioli was unconventional; I don’t think the cucumber strips provided paired well with them. The garlic cream sauce on the basic linguini tasted very fresh but lacked flavoring. Caprese salad appetizer was delicious.
I was caught by surprise because when I came here last time and ordered different menu items, they were absolutely delicious. Would like to see more consistent quality across menu items, specifically the vegetarian items.
Overall experience was great. Great food and service. Good atmosphere too. The only thing that would have made it better was if the seating spacing was not so close. If you want a private romantic setting seating was too close for that.
Fantastic service and delicious food!!
Valentine’s Day. I took my lover out for a night and we loved it.
No parking. No valet. No signs for parking. Terrible in that area of town to have no parking plan.
Delightful Valentines Dinner! Benjamin was a wonderful server and the food was delicious. The portions were a bit small for the price, but the food came out quickly and beautifully. The bottle of wine gift was a lovely treat.
The food was delicious! Great prices for delicious food. The only bad part was we had a reservation and had to wait over 30 minutes because the restaurant only had one particular table picked out for us and the people sitting there were talking and talking and were so inconsiderate even thought there were 20 people waiting. The restaurant is very small. Not sure if the restaurant doesn’t allot enough time between reservations but other than that it was really good.
The risotto special was bland and not well done. The chicken ravioli sauce seemed to be different. Other than the tiramisu, the desserts lacked flavor. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. All in all a less than stellar dinner.
Great food, great ambiance, great location. Very enjoyable dining. Will go back in the future.
Second time visiting with my wife and once again we left very happy. The pasta is second-to-none!
Love this place. Eaten here for many years!
We were in town for conference and wanting Italian. Pasta da Pulcinella came up high on search and had nice reviews. We were definitely glad we tried it. We had a quieter table for 2 by a wall with curtain separating, but I could see how it could be louder. However, our server was wonderful, food was amazing (ate way too much), and the wine recommended was very smooth and flavorful. We would definitely go again when in Atlanta.
Great dinner after work
Very nice, cozy, romantic spot... Great pasta and the Caesar salad was the best I've ever had!
We enjoy dining at Pasta da Pulcinella. We do recommend you to others. We look forward to more visits in the future.
This was only my second visit to this restaurant. Once again thoroughly enjoyed the meal. This time I had the lobster ravioli with cream sauce. Yummy. The bread was excellent and I had a really good glass of wine. My husband and a friend with us had a seafood pasta dish. They both cleaned their plate. His wife had a green pasta dish that she said was so-so. It was a very busy night in the restaurant. Much busier it seems than the last time I was there. We felt just a little rushed so it wasn't the really relaxing dinner experience that I like to have when I go out to eat. I get it from the restaurant's point of view - the place is small and there were people waiting to be seated. Those people represent revenue. Maybe the answer is to allow more time for a table of people to sit down and eat and enjoy a meal with friends. We finally left there and went to another venue, had dessert and a couple of bottles of wine in a relaxed midtown atmosphere. I will definitely go back to Pulcinella for the food. It was delicious.
We all LOVED our food. All different orders, all delicious. Great ambiance, hosts, waiters, and servers. Very small bar area, but we seated quickly. A little on the loud side, but not distracting. Will definitely return!
We were a little late for our reservation, so we sat at the bar. The bartenders were wonderful and very attentive throughout our entire meal. Some of the food was great, while other dishes did not quite hit the mark. I was hoping for a cozier ambiance, but it was a bit dark and noisy. Not sure if we’ll eat there again, given all of the amazing Italian options in the city.
I have had better meals here before. I brought two business associates, it was their first time and they were not impressed. I was disappointed as well. I had not visited in a long time but it was not as I remembered.
Excellent food and service. All parts of the dinner were great.
Perfect for date night. Cozy, quiet, ridiculously good food and a professional wait staff. Highly recommended.
Loved it, a local gem!
Great food....great service....great atmosphere. Total package!!! Always enjoy coming here
You guys have to put in the menu what kinds of nuts is in pasta, I am having to take someone to the hospital because you didn’t state was in their pasta
Service was off the chain good and it was a crazy busy Sat night! Rob was our server and he was amazing! Great recommendations, delicious food, adorable ambiance!
My Wife’s Birthday
Great time, wonderful food!
Great service, very good food, surprisingly reasonable prices. I’d recommend it without reservation to anyone. Salads, pasta dishes, outstanding gelato to finish, but especially attentive and timely service. Waiter, John, was outstanding.
Food was outstanding as always. Our server, Robin, is our favorite and we were thrilled to have him again last night. Attentive, friendly and funny! Thank you again for a wonderful evening!
Becoming one my favorite Atlanta restaurants. Mushroom ravioli is simply one of the best dishes ever!
I have done so already! He and his wife plan to dine with you soon.
