Pasta Amore has some great options on the menu, starting with the antipasti. Try the tomato bread, the fried ravioli, breaded calamari and the eggplant parmesan. Tomato Bread (Bruschetta)
Toasted bread topped with green olives, tomatoes, olive oil, garlic and fresh basil
Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, olive oil, basil and balsamic
Ravioli appetizer was salty. Food was average to just okay. Server had to be corrected a couple of times on the orders. Stated pushed the “wrong button” for the wine. What does that mean the wine comes from a “soda” type of device and not a bottle? I was pretty sure I was served the wrong wine.
Best food ever. Great service and did I mention, great food.
Outstanding food, quiet and intimate
Pasta Amore is a very nice Italian restaurant. The drinks and food were very good! I would recommend going if you need a taste of Italy while in Nebraska.
Great atmosphere, and service. Brittany was an awesome waitress, and took great care of us. The food was great as well, as were the bar selections which were made well, and didn't taste watered down as we often find. Thanks for a wonderful evening with our granddaughter. We WILL be back.
We had patio seating for 5 and enjoyed a dinner on a perfect evening. Overall, it was a great experience. Dinners included chicken and veal Parmesan, cannelloni and pasta Alfredo and gluten-free pasta Alfredo. All meals are delicious. Portions were not overly huge, but filling. Very good Italian food. We will be back.
Very personable waitress, very tasty food
Great food and atmosphere!
The new owners have done an exceptional job keeping this one of the best places in Omaha. The homemade bread and pasta were exceptional. Sat outside for the First Friday Concert at Rockbrook. We were able to hear both the music and each other. Our service was great too.
Wonderful meal! Loved the server and the food! A must go to!
Robin is amazing!
Remarkable experience! Fantastic food, amazing service! Options for indoor and outdoor dining. We LOVE Pasta Amore!
Absolute the best! Amazing service. Love the new bread and homemade mozzarella. We’re going again tonight!!! The new owners are so friendly and will continue to keep this restaurant an Omaha tradition. Love it❤️
Disappointed overall. Took 10 minutes to even be greeted at our table. Another 20 minutes to order our appetizer. Other tables, who had arrived after us, were served their entrees and finished before we ordered our meals. Ordered a special and was not impressed, I could have made a better version of this entree. Luckily we didn’t have anywhere to be afterwards, but it took 2 plus hours for our dining experience. Would not go back.
Angel was very busy but was attentive and kind. Patient with us.
Wonderful food, quiet atmosphere, and friendly service. Nice outdoor patio.
I will preface this review by saying that they were very, very busy - there was a full dining room and a private party. That being said, we were sat 25 minutes after our reservation time and it took another 20 minutes before a waitress came over. We were never given a drink menu, so we skipped drinks. The fried ravioli was good, not great, but the bread was absolutely delicious. Our entrees were fine, but definitely not the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. I had the traditional carbonara with linguine - it was good, but had a weird after taste. I also prefer my carbonara to be made with pancetta or guanciale, this was made with bacon. My boyfriend had the tortellini in marinara and it was good. We had the lemoncello cake and a cannoli for dessert and both were great! Overall, we were there for over 2 hours and it wasn’t the best experience. I’m not sure if we’ll be back. If you do give it a try, I would maybe try a weeknight!
Food was wonderful but service was spotty. We think they were short servers for the number of customers in the restaurant and for pickup. When the server did appear she seemed to be in a big rush and on several occasions we needed to find someone else to help us. Also had problems with particulate matter in the drinking water.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal with friends. The restaurant had the feel of a small town intimate eating establishment. Will definitely go there again!
Outstanding all around.
Excellent service, food, wine and ambiance. Has always been excellent
Good but pricey for pasta
We finally were able to dine in at one of our favorite places after doing 14 months of takeout, doing so every week. We missed the ambiance of the restaurant and we wanted to extend our best wishes to Chef/Owner before he leaves as a result of his having sold the restaurant.
We arrived at 5:15 for patio seating and were given a two top essentially on the walkway-which meant that even though it was early, we got to greet every single person in and out of the restaurant for the remainder of our meal. So much for social distancing! Our waitress, at least, was prompt and efficient. The food was just okay-$6 for bruschetta that ended up being just two pieces, and the bread *looked* toasted but was somehow cold nonetheless. The drink menu was limited and the entrees were overpriced. The loud patio, the crowded walkway, and the $25 entrees (no leftovers, so they were small on size as well) are only three of the reasons we won’t be coming back. You can get much better italian food at lower prices elsewhere in Omaha, for sure.
