Passiontree Velvet Indooroopilly
Excellent all round. Great food & service for our high Tea. Food was delicious, staff friendly, waitress exceptional.
Beautiful cakes & scones etc.
Second time my Mum and I have come here for High Tea. Will continue coming back. Good competitive price, compared to other High Teas and with the bonus of not having to drive into Brisbane CBD.
My family enjoyed the High tea experience specially our 3 grandnieces who had teddy Bear picnics but kept asking where the Teddy Bear was ?
Enjoyable experience, thank you.
Plenty of food, pot of tea was hot, service was prompt, pleasant and helpful. Would definitely go again.
We really enjoyed the venue..pleasant staff..lovely high tea !
This was a wonderful High Tea experience for my 14 year old daughter and her two friends. The birthday celebration was a hit and they thoroughly enjoyed the delicious high tea and all it had to offer. Plenty of food photos and Iced Chocolate instead of tea/coffee - perfect.
The staff were lovely and very attentive. We purchased a second coffee each, if you got tea you received a pot so a second cup of coffee included in the high tea package would be nice. The selection of food was great. Option of plain/fruit scones would be nice as not alot of people eat fruit scones. Macarons were divine, sandwiches lovely.
Was very impressed with the service and quality of food. Will definitely be going back again.
I booked the Duchess High Tea, for 3 people one of whom was a visitor of Italy so I wanted her experience something different. We all loved it, staff were also very friendly and helpful. They even packed what we couldn’t eat in box to take home.
High tea with my 16 year old nieces...while it was a really pleasant afternoon and we all loved the tea flavours it is disappointing that a full gluten free option could not be provided given that this is a fairly common request these days.
High tea was average. Nothing exceptional about it. Read good reviews but I guess my expectations were too high. Ordered 3 x full duchess high tea. Turns out a single duchess high tea is different to a shared duchess high tea. They weren’t the same experience. I would have thought when having high tea at the same time with friends you’d all get the same. So we were disappointed, and staff weren’t very knowledgeable.
I organized to meet my sister, brother-in-law and their grandson in Westfield Indooroopilly at Passiontree Velvet. Classy setting, we had waived the deluxe high tea for humbler fruit and plain scones, salmon sandwiches, and a croque monsieur. No 2nd class cuisine here. Topped off with excellent coffee, and leaf teas. Oh, and the macarons were to die for. Thanks.
Our booking was lost, so what was the point of booking a month in advance. The table was too small to hold water glasses, tea and food. It was over priced for what we received as it was no more than a coffee shop in a shopping centre. The ambience was the same as the food hall. None.
The food was delicious, there was a great selection of teas available plus a lot of beverage options included for those not wanting tea with their high tea. Staff were lovely and I felt the price was very reasonable for a high tea.
Passion tree was a perfect place to share high tea as it was quiet and had lovely comfortable seating. Food was beautiful and great coffee. Lovely selection of pasties and sandwiches. Only one small detail which stood out was there was no booking for us, even though I booked through OpenTable. But the staff managed to be professional and bring us our high tea with in minutes:)
Our high tea was amazing.
Everything was just perfect and Natalie was very helpful from start to finish on our first of many visits.
Only suggestions are that we would like one closer to Aspley, and that you had gluten free high teas as many of our family members have coeliac disease.
Would HIGHLY recommend. 😀
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Mother's Day High Tea was elegant and decadent. Didn't look like much at first but we couldn't finish it all so that's a sign our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Service was brilliant. Polite, cheerful and attentive. Great value for money all things considered. Would definitely recommend and return in future.
The best high tea there is in Brisbane! I took my Mum here for Mother's Day and she absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the staff were kind and always smiling. I couldn't have picked a better place to take my Mum on this special day.
Wonderful experience, food was fantastic and the staff are friendly and attentive.
It was my Birthday and I felt really special when we arrived and were shown to a reserved table near the window. The chairs are really comfortable and the whole atmosphere in the Restaurant was lovely. Staff were very attentive and our High Tea was a delight. I will certainly recommend the PassionTree Velvet Restaurant to my family and friends.
1st time at Passiontree Velvet for a Duchess High Tea with my Daughter, we loved it and are coming back again. Not having been there before, nor known it was there, exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely morning.
Had a lovely High Tea, service was excellent from the booking all the way through to departure!! Everything was presented extremely well
We couldn't fit the top tier in as we were full due to the scones I think!! So we took our little petite slices home
The only thing that I would suggest is that it would of been nice to have a few more savoury items, that would of topped it of very nicely
Passiontree Velvet was lovely. It catered for children with their High Tea. I felt that the High Tea for Children could of had a few more sandwiches on the tray, as it was catering for 2. It only had a couple of ham sandwiches.Could offer a second option for Children as the High Tea was catering for smaller children. I had a 5 & 9 year old.I had to order more than what was served. The Devonshire High Tea was lovely.Would of liked an option that had more savoury option. The sweets were divine.
Very disappointed in the Duchess high tea package ,poor value for $35pp sharing 1 tiered platter between 3 people is not acceptable for that price not enough sandwiches per person supplied-suggest this for 2 ppl at best. No GF options available for celiacs, would not recommend or revisit.
Such a shame, I visited Passiontree Velvet with my two children for my birthday. We were looking forward to an afternoon tea treat. The cakes were very poor and extremely limited. We spent almost $50 on something I wouldn't have paid $15 for. I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was also very slow and unattentive.
Booked a Macaron high tea session through their website on a Sunday. The very next day I was called by a lovely lady who confirmed my booking and clarified everything with me to make sure we knew what we were getting.
When we arrived the staff were courteous and friendly, making our group feel welcomed. Service was very attentive with only a slight mistake in our tea order that was quickly remedied. Will definitely come back again.
Wonderfully delicious high tea filled with beautiful sweets and sandwiches. Absolutely lovely!
We had the Duchess High Tea for Mother's Day. The gentleman who looked after us was very warm, friendly, and inviting. He was also attentive with a smile, despite being über busy. The food was delicious and fresh. The sweets in the high tea were so indulgent and yummy. We took the leftovers home because it was just too filling for us. I would recommend this venue for cost effective delicious high tea with good service.
The place is perfect for a high tea, breakfast or if you are looking for that special desert.
The costumer service was impeccable and made us feel very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is more variety of savory on the high tea. Although the sandwiches were really good, I would like to have something different for instance it could be one sandwich, one mini croissant and a mini quiche.
I love the quality of the high tea, the cakes were delicious, the scones had been microwaved a little to long, but once bought to the attention of the staff they were quickly replaced. We thought it was good value for what was offered, and it was nice that the staff supplied a lovely box to take the leftovers home. They have great wingback chairs which add a nice touch to the restaurant . We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. It's my favourite place to relax after shopping at Indooroopilly
Booked for four people via the online booking section (only method) for Passiontree Velvet Indooroopilly. Arrived on the 11th November and they had no booking for us. After several minutes they made us a table, but only gave enough plate/ cutlery for 3 people. The staff seemed very frazzled in general and inexperienced. We had to ask for another plate/ cutlery when there was 4 of us at the table. We ordered the 'duchess' high tea. A young waiter brought out the high tea without the middle plate
High quality teas and amazing food.
I won a free high tea for two I had never been before and the staff were not polite or helpful. It took too long to get served or even spoken to. Would not recommend this place to anyone, the food was not even that good.
The staff were friendly and keen to make our dining experience a lovely one. Passiontree Velvet's high tea is the best high tea that i've been to so far in Brisbane. The food is delicious and great value for money.
I made a booking thinking we will be served within time but after 20min seating ,I had to get up to seek staff at the counter. It was embarassing to my guest. It was the 2nd time we came but Im not sure there will be a 3rd time. I find it a turn off to have mugs that are tea/coffee stained.
The area was great and there was a nice view outside. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty.
It was lovely to receive our individual little boxes with our leftovers to take home.
The high tea was lovely
