Service and food were amazing. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Would go back again!
We always eat at Passionfish when we visit our daughter and her husband. Love the fresh seafood options. Such knowledgeable and professional wait staff!!
My 3rd time! Love it. My 13 yr old grandson picked it for his birthday celebration. Came from Vienna. Loved the gratis bday treat.
Awesome restaurant and spectacular at accommodating guests with food allergies.
Can’t go wrong with Passionfish. Favorite restaurant in RTC.
I always love dining at Passion Fish, Especially on Sundays during their brunch. It’s a great value and is also half price wine day! #Winning
We have been there frequently and until now have always found it to be exceptionally good, but this time we were greatly disappointed by inattentive service that made dinner painful. We will be back to see if this time was merely a fluke, and sure hope that next time it will be up to its usual exceptional standards!!
Good food and our waiter Matt was exceptional.
Had 6 people and there was something for everybody on the menu.
Business dinner with foreign guests, with particular tastes. Chose seafood options and were not disappointed. Server was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable on wines. Busy night and time but not too loud. Good job!
We really enjoy Passion Fish above all the other high end options in Reston. It is relatively quiet and great for business meals, special occasions, and romance. They cook fish superbly. No one makes better simply grilled salmon. Unique fish entrees as well. Great sushi, great cocktails and after dinner aperitifs too! Try it, you will love it!
Host and hostess were great; waitstaff was rather unfriendly, and also had trouble answering questions about the food. However, the food was great, and the environment was perfectly loud enough to have a private conversation. We will be going back.
Good place for a business lunch. They need to fix the parking issue at RESTON Town Center though. That’s a disaster. Not the fault of the restaurant, but all the same, I go to Tyson’s Corner more often just because of the parking snafu at RTCenter
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We were celebrating a birthday. Enjoyed the sushi. A good variety of high quality entrees were enjoyed by our six member family. Our server, Kenny, did a great job attending to our needs, both explaining the menu and providing prompt service. We will definitely go back!
Had a business dinner. The food, service and energy was perfect! Thank you
An outstanding restaurant. Good food, service, environment and value.
Loved the ethnic variety and creativity of the menu. The food was well-prepared and presented. Our server was not particularly attentive, but the food made up for it.
Our server Torry was excellent and food is always fresh and delicious!
Brunch was excellent. Wait staff was perfectly attentive. Good table location.
Went for Sunday Brunch, and enjoyed the app and entree special. Felt it was a good value, with beautifully presented food that was just as delicious as it looked. Nice for a special occasion or a date. Am a repeat customer, enjoy frequenting there.
Very nice for a first date
Food and service here is always great. Convenient location within the Reston Town Center. Always enjoy dining here
Great food, fresh fish, friendly waitstaff, and a really nice birthday dinner for me! Loved it.
I have been coming to this place for a few years. Always very positive experiences, however this time was awful. Firstly- We had a 9:45 reservation. We arrived early (9:30) and were told by the hostess when seating us that ‘we better hurry and order because the kitchen closes at 10. I have eaten in many restaurants all over the world, if you have a reservation and arrive at that time, regardless of the hour, the kitchen should accommodate as the reservation was made on their terms. I found this to be inhospitable. Secondly- our waitress was beyond terrible; inattentive, unclear, unfriendly, you name it. I was very disappointed in all this based on prior experience and felt some embarrassment as I had spoken well of the place to my guest. I was so upset I intentionally did not provide my membership card to add to the points to a place I’m not sure I would decide to return to anyway. Hope this gets to people who can have impact.
This was our first time to Passion Fish. Our waiter was pretty distracted and seemed to forget about us often. The 50% off a bottle of wine on Sundays is nice but the food wasn't anything to write home about. It was OK but not great. For the quality/quantity, it was definitely overpriced. I was disappointed in the scallops I ordered - a relatively small portion and teeny tiny bay scallops for in the $30s (don't remember the exact price). I'm not super inclined to give it another shot and would look to Jackson's or Coopers Hawk before opting to come back to Passion Fish next time out.
The food was excellent as was the service. The servings were very large - had to get a doggy bag. We would eat there more often were it not for the parking fiasco.
Sushi was great!
We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Passion Fish. We also had the best server and I'm kicking myself for not remembering his name! We will be back!
Excellent food but the service left allot to be desired unfortunately.
Our experience was typical of those in the Passion Food group: great service, consistently excellent food, and a delightful ambience. At PassionFish the seafood is impeccably fresh, specialities like the gumbo are true to their roots, and service is professional and attentive, and the group’s careful management is obvious.
I was very disappointed this time. I have had good experiences in the past, but the Lobster and butternut soup was bland and the Cioppino was not great and didn't have much seafood or variety. The shrimp in it was not great either.
PassionFish is always my first go to for a business lunch in the Reston Town Center.
Always a great meal and atmosphere. One of the best in the Reston, VA area.
Continues to be the best, most consistent restaurant in Reston.
Superb, well-trained wait staff. - a rarity these days.
Also rare, a restaurant that is quiet enough to actually have a normal conversation with your table mates.
Great seafood restaurant! Probably, one of the best seafood restaurant in the area!
Passionfish shines in a bright corner of Reston Town Center...quality, variety and consistency...there's a formula to survive the parking experiment gone awry.
Passionfish is my favorite restaurant in the Reston area. Their gumbo is excellent from the special presentation in a lovely cast iron "skillet dish" through the wonderful blend of flavors in the rue with generous, large pieces of fresh seafood. I used to live in New Orleans and Passionfish gumbo equals any I ever had down there. The wine list is excellent. The atmosphere is delightful with white linen tablecloths everywhere, lots of space between tables, and surroundings that permit quiet conversation. The restaurant can be full/busy but it always feels relaxed and a wonderful place to have an intimate conversation with a special person or small group over great food. No rushing diners to hurry and vacate the table for the next customer at this fine restaurant.
The service is top drawer, ...attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. They know how to provide a great dining experience.
Gerard is first rate.
Passionfish is always a must whenever I visit the Reston area.
Enjoyed outstanding birthday dinner celebration with my wife. Experienced exceptional service from our server Gerard B. Enjoyed delicious food.
Passionfish Reston is is our go to restaurant for a fish on a special night out. As always the food was delicious and the service outstandint.
Excellent food, service by our waiter Kenny was fabulous! I was very specific about being seated away from the bar and noisy areas in my online reservation.
After getting there, the hostess seated us right in the middle of the bullpen which was terrible -- too many people and noisy. However, I asked to be moved and they complied. Just wish my request for a special location had been actually read as this was a 28 year anniversary and I should not have had to point this out to the hostess since I was very specific in my reservation notes. Lastly, busboys worked hard and were very professional.
I was told Salmon would be prepared medium rare at recommendation of chef - it came out well-done. A side dish came out when we were done eating. It took a long time to clear the table. Been coming here for 8 years and it’s going down progressively over the last 3-4 years. Sad. It’s an RTC icon that is getting left behind.
