The whole bronzino is absolutely delicious. I have had it many times, but I think tonight's was the best. My husband had the lobster curry and loved every bite. Of course, starting with the oysters is the way to go. Love this place.
The best seafood and wine selection in Reston! Everything is always outstanding.
Dinner for 2; I enjoyed the grouper special; my husband enjoyed the sea scallops. For appetizers, he had the pot stickers and I had the ceviche. All was delicious, but I would recommend a ceviche dish with more than one kind of fish. the key lime tart for desert also was very good.
Food was very mixed. Char was fabulous. Cod was chewy, likely frozen and refrozen. Sushi roll had large bones in one piece, which was dangerous. Service was good and it is a very nice layout.
Food was fantastic and the staff was outstanding, very friendly, professional and attentive.
Their menu for NYE was really great except they were out of a bunch of items on it.
Great place. Food quality is always very good. Service was excellent.
I have never had a bad meal or service at Passion Fish until yesterday. The service was fine but the waiter's mask kept falling down off of his nose. We were surprised that management did not do something about that. The sushi rice was chewy and did not taste fresh. We had to send back some of the sushi which was replaced with sashimi.
Always a great meal with great service.
Great menu normally. Since it was Christmas eve, they had a slim down menu. It was still delicious and portions were bigger than I expected
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Thank you for special touches.
GReat baked oyster appetizer. Red Thai Curry lobster entree was also good.
Ambience is nice. Service is good. Food is ok, but for the price you expect a higher quality and flavor level. Good experience overall but expect to pay more. I think Sweetwater has better food.
Food was excellent!
Good food and good service - credit card system was down 😂
While our waiter was earnest and paid attention to us, the timing of each course was exceptionally rushed. Barely had received the apps when the salads showed. Barely had started the salad when the main arrived. Still eating dinner when the check arrived.
Celebrated a birthday. Matt our waiter was excellent Offered recommendations, was there when we needed anything without hovering. Food was superb.
Good food but prices are a bit high. The service was outstanding. Karen R. did a great job.
A lovely Sunday evening dinner to wind down the weekend! A special Sunday feature is the half price bottled wine which allows trying a new find without the major commitment of its regular cost. Winner!
Swordfish was excellent. And scallops were cooked perfectly plus the accompanying
sweet potato risotto was very tasting and delicious. Caesar salad was fresh and their dressing is unique (Not as creamy as many) but truly great.
Waitress also was really attentive and helpful-made for a great dinner!
Everything was fine. However, I was told that seating was not available at 12:30 so made confirmed reservations for 12:45. Arrived slightly early was seated immediately. It was obvious that there had been plenty of room to have been accommodated at 12:30. ???
We had the worst customer service, save your money and go somewhere else
The food is good and well prepared. They excel with their sushi, ceviche, rolls and flavored spread, cocktails and desserts. The entrees are a bit hit and miss. Scallops and flounder were very good, gumbo was just ok. Service was also ok.
Passion Fish is a wonderful restaurant for a date night.
Food was good but attention to detail was a bit lacking. The grapes in my martini were not fresh, missing side item for a $38 entree, tin foil given for left overs, no dessert silverware was given. For the entree menu prices they could be more generous with the side items. Not super impressed. Can go elsewhere for comparable items and leave satisfied with the entire experience. Server was nice.
Passion Fish is always great. I particularly love their Arctic Char and their mashed potatoes. I drive over there, always on weekends since I live in Maryland, just to enjoy the food. I've never been disappointed. This was a family favorite when they had a Bethesda location. It closed because of Covid 19 related seating restrictions. I hope that in the future Passion Fish opens a new Montgomery County location. For the time being, I'll continue my occasional weekend trips to Reston to enjoy its food.
Excellent service and recommendations on food choices. All Dishes were excellent!
Service was excellent. Food was very good and well presented. Both entrees - crab cakes and scallops- were overpriced.
My second time here and everything was delicious both times.
Excellent sea food. ‘Jacqueline’ was very attentive. She checked on us frequently.
Mediocre food. Very bland. Too expensive for what you get. 3 small scallops was $38! And it had no real taste. Service was subpar. Didn’t know the menu. If u want red lobster quality for high end prices this is the place for you. Atmosphere is good. Nice space
Great food and our waitress was beyond amazing. So funny and personable. Looking forward to seeing people with no masks on again at some point.
Our service overall was good it just took a while for us to get our main courses.
Violently sick after eating at Passion Fish. Pretty sure it was the oysters. I'll never return.
Fantastic fish menu, very tasty well prepared food, good wines but all a bit pricey.
Haven’t been to Passion Fish since before the pandemic started. The restaurant was busy and vibrant. Service was good, not great, due to our server being overloaded with too many tables. She did her best and was very attentive when she was at our table. Food was what we expected, very good and fresh! They need to freshen up the menu, it’s the same it was the last time we were there, and they had no specials. We’ll be back.
Top notch all around…always is!
Food and service was excellent. Planning on returning soon
The food and dessert were excellent. Recommendations of sauces, and hosting was great too. Though we did have to wait a bit for our glasses to be refilled, we understand that's to be expected in these times. The decor, chairs, and washroom need attention.
